    Hi, I have LDAP schema where are users. I need remove one attribute named "notify" which have values: phone number or mail or remove attribute from user. I found method LDAPConnection myCon = new LDAPConnection("localhost",389); myCon.delete("uid=test1, ou=People, o=domain.com, o=isp"); but this remove whole user and i need remove only one attribute "notifyTo" of this user. I need remove whole attribute not only its value. Thanks for reply

    Background Job gets mentioned a lot but all the tutorials I've seen seem to indicate that its for queuing jobs which are created by some external event such as a user clicking "Send mail". But what about when you have code that needs to scheduled to run every 30 seconds to listen for new messages from twitter? Normally rake is recommended for set in stone schedules but it inst so efficient for frequent jobs as it has to to load the entire rails app each time. Can anyone recommend anything for this situation?

    Is there a way to transform a partylist field like Customer in a Campaign Response to allow for multiple Contacts/Accounts/Leads? Although unsupported, I now from Jian Wang that some attributes of the lookup can be modified in the onload() event like this: crmForm.all.customer.setAttribute("lookuptypes", "1,2"); Is there a similiar attribute that would turn this into a field that allows multiple participants like the To field in an e-mail?     I am trying to send an email to multiple email addresses which are contained in a database and sorted into a recordset... The recordset has multiple columns, but I only need one: "Email". I know that if I have them in an array I can implode them and separate them by commas, but I'm not sure how I could do that with a recordset column. Anyone know how?   • How do I allow an email discussion list in MOSS to collect messages from any email sender

    I have a Sharepoint discussion list that belongs to an Exchange list with the idea that it will be able to archive discussions on that list and make them generally accessible, searcheable and so on. The problem is that although I have checked the "Accept e-mail messages from any sender" option on the discussion board, it still appears to only be seeing emails from members of the domain, nothing sent to the list from outside gets picked up by the Sharepoint site. Any suggestions as to what else I have to do?

  • PHPMailer - what sending method is most appropriate?

I need to use PHPMailer to send emails out for the following reasons: small lists (less then 500) password resets general notifications, 100ish emails at a time And PHPMailer gives me the option to send via mail(), sendmail, or SMTP. Is there any reason to prefer one of these methods over the other? I don't know enough about email services in general to make an informed decision.
