    My requirements are to be able to thumbnail the major image and file extensions: doc(x), txt, xls(x), pdf, rte, and as many others as possible. We have been hooking into Office extensions to do this in the past, but they are not really supported on Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. Are there any third party thumbnailing applications that you have had success implementing? Preferably ones that are easy to invoke from .Net

    Does anyone know the address of the default RHEL repository? We rent a server that is hosted by a third-party and one of our users seems to have "deleted" a lot of the RHN packages from our box; included was the rhn-yum-plugin. I really don't want to waste one our support requests on having them load up the DVD into the box and re-initializing the RHN software. Thanks.

    Hi All, I have developed my application in asp.net 3.5 and C#. I have deployed my application on internet and now when I am going to the source of the page, I am able to see all my asp.net controls defined [ie. my aspx page], is their any way I can hide it so that user can't see my source of the page [except right click of mouse] or at least display in pure HTML form so that people can not identify that I am using asp.net.   • Can I get a WPF ListBox to inherit brushes from parent element?

    My WPF window has its foreground brush set to a brush from a resource dictionary, and I want all text in the window to have this color, so I don't touch the foreground brush in anything else. Textboxes get the color Textblocks get the color Buttons get the color Listboxes do not get the color, and so neither do their contents. Is there any way to get a Listbox to behave like the other controls in this respect? Assuming not, and that this is by design, what is the rationale?

The problem is this is hard to follow: ajaxOne(function() { // do something ajaxTwo(function() { // do something ajaxThree() }); }); where the anonymous functions are callbacks that are called on server response.   • How do digital certificates prove the identity of a device?

    I understand how the relation between issuer and subject certificates enables verification of the subject's authenticity. If I connect to a networked device, and it sends me its certificate to identify itself, then I can verify that it was issued by a trusted party and that it has not been tampered with in any way. However, suppose I simply upload this certificate onto another device. Then what prevents me from having this device identify itself with the copied certificate?

    I know at some point I'd come across a Google service built into their API that would provide local information as markers on the viewport (schools, hospitals, etc.)-- I believe this was a simple control that could be added just like the normal map controls, to allow users to turn it on or off with a checkbox or button.
