    Ok, i have cisco ePC 3208 router, and cable internet goes in router via cable and router is emiting wireless. It can work without computer and it is working fine. Now i want to have capiteve portal with home page for my buisness and user logins. Is it possible that i use computer as gateway for captive portal, so when user goes to wireless it will redirected to computer local server for authorization and then passed by if user and pass is good, or i need another router or wifi acess point?

In Gentoo, we have make.conf where we can specify global use flags, and /etc/portage/package.use for package-specific use flags. I found a reference indicating that if you want to customize ports in FreeBSD, you have to pass them on the command-line meaning you will lose those customizations if you forget or simply by doing updates. But is there a way that my VPN server pass traffic through the proxy server? What about using another vpn server instead of proxy server?

  • NLB Accessed Denied from second server

    Hello Have NLB set up and working. Just two servers, web1 and web2. I set up NLB on web1 and can view both machines as Converged. (I had to specify a login/pass to connect to web2). On web2, looking at the NLB Manager, it only shows web2 and says in the log "Accessed Denied. Error connecting to web1". Any ideas how to fix?

However they never pass the health check (HTTP port 80 path:"/"). Ping is ok on the website. So is telnet on 80. How did the health check works? Am I doing anything really wrong?     I'd like to run a given Perl script whenever I connect my camera to my PC, so that this script will download all the photos on it. But as the drive letter for the camera may change depending on what's already connected, I need to pass this drive letter as an argument to the script. Is this doable? Thanks.     It is possible to use the include = /somepath/%u.smb.conf in the global section to call a script /somepath/cb0.smb.conf if the user cb0 connects to the samba server. Unfortunately this does not wotk for me because testparm alway gives me Can't find include file /somepath/.smb.conf When I connect to the server I can enter a username and pass but it alway rejects the connection. I'm using Samba Version 3.2.5 How can I achieve to load a custom user script depending on the user that is connecting ?

  • How do I extend the virsh/qemu/libvirt Timeout?

    There's a known issue with starting virtual machines with large hard drive images. Apparently, the time-out is 3 seconds, but in reality, it can take up to 15 seconds for a machine to start. I've read several bug reports, and people confirming it's a time-out problem, but I have yet to see a solution. Is there an option I can pass, like: virsh start MyMachine --ignore-timeout Or a config file that needs changed? Thanks!

We have a group that runs this application within a Citrix session and the truly networked printers function perfectly but shared printers that work well outside of Citrix become unreachable. There is something in the way Critrix passes the information to the destination UNC that I don’t understand.
