    So, I am literally just starting out with google adsense. I have implemented google adsense ads from (1) account and from (2) different channels, per website they're on. (2 Wordpress Websites, activated with 'GoogleAdsense Plugin' for WordPress). They are implemented at the bottom of every post on my 2 Wordpress websites within the 'Blog' sections. My adsense dashboard is stating I've received a few clicks; but across it still states my account earnings and balance at $0.00. When / How will I start seeing money earned to my account?

  • My PC becomes very slow after changing page file in XP.

    Hello there, I have 5 partitions in my computer (C, D, E, F, G), and C: is the system partition. Recently I changed the page file setting to use 768-768 MB from the G:, without changing the C: default value (256-512 MB). Everything runs fine until I rebooted my PC. I unset the G:'s page file before I rebooted my PC. Well, after I rebooted my PC, my XP becomes VERY slow. damn slow. I don't know how long I wasted to wait for the boot screen to disappear. (Well, maybe about 1-3 mins. Normally it is under 10 secs) and when I tried to enter the desktop, it just like using a computer without a VGA card, or VGA driver installed. Very slow. Any suggestions to fix this problem? Because I hate to repair-install my XP =\ Thanks.

  • How to keep Windows 7 from sleeping while scanning the PC.

    So, I've been using Microsoft Security Essentials lately. And it usually takes a couple hours or more for it to full scan my hard drive. Because of that, I commonly leave it scanning while I go do something else. Problem is: 10 minutes later, windows 7 goes to sleep, and the scan is (obviously) paused. That's What I'd like to stop happening. So far, the only way I've been able to avoid it was to create a power plan, and switch to it while away, to keep the PC from sleeping. Problem is that I have to keep switching power plans and I'd like the PC to be able to go to sleep in case MSE finishes scanning and I'm still not back. Maybe I'm just asking for too much, but I've been surprised by the users here plenty of times already. So let me know if you know how to keep the PC from sleeping while MSE is scanning. Thanks

  • My pc freezes when I connect to the internet with my iburst usb modem

    I am quite new to it and I'm having some trouble with iBurst usb modem.I followed the instructions of Graham Inggs here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Iburst and now it seems I can connect to the internet, but when I try to connect my whole desktop freezes. When I boot into Ubuntu with my modem connected all is well until I try to open Firefox then my desktop freezes as well.I used Graham Inngs' ibdriver in DKMS fromat solution and it worked apart from the freezing. Graham Inggs made a patch for this problem for older linux versions but I can't seem to find anything compatible with 12.04. Can someone please help?

    There are two Ubuntu PCs called A and B. A and B are connected to the Internet using two separated Internet connections. (In my case, two mobile broadband connections ppp0 x2 ) Each connection has a unique & static public IP address. What I need is to control A computer's cursor, using B computer's mouse, over the Internet. In both computers, I have allowed other users to control my computer in Desktop Sharing preferences, as below: When I try to connect to A from the B using Remmina Remote Desktop Client, it refuses to connect after trying for a while. These are my settings: I expect this to be done from an available open source software, not from TeamViewer. I found this guide harder to understand. Please provide me clear instructions...   • Can't turn computer on after re-attaching hard drive

    I have an Eee PC 1008HA. A few days before I got a virus that was preventing the Windows to boot but I could turn the computer on. I opened (disassembled) the Eee PC, then disconnected the hard disk. I connected the hard disk to another computer and copied my files. When I connected again the hard disk to my Eee PC and closed (assembled) it , I cannot turn the Eee PC on. Even when I connect the wire for charging, neither the charging light nor any other lights light up.

    I always Hibernate my PC. Sometimes when I boot, it does not recognize the mouse/keyboard or any USB devices. I've also setup it to go in sleep in 5 minutes. In that case I can't restart the PC so that USB starts working. When I press the Power button then it starts shutdown but asks confirmation twice one is for shutdown by force confirmation and then there is one more. When my USB is disabled I can't input these options. So I switch off the power. What I want is that upon pressing Power Button it should at once start shutdown without asking any more confirmations System details: Win-7 Home Premium 64 bit Intel i3 530 Asus P montherboard EDIT: It is Desktop PC

How can I expand the size of the Edubuntu partition to allow me to update? I am new to Linux so I hope that I am giving you enough and correct information on my system. I am using an older Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop. My root.disk file is 16.3Gb and the system.disk file is 256Mb.     I want to move some files from my PC to Nexus 7. The tablet is connected to my PC's USB port and it is successfully charging. Unfortunately, the PC is not detecting the devices - what I expected is to be shown the Nexus 7 tablet as external devices (like my USB flash memory). As the tablet is connected to the my home internet network, I have checked if it will appear in the "Networks" section but it does not. I am using Ubuntu 12.4 LTS. Is there a easy way to connect the devices to my PC and move some information between them?

  • RGB to DVI adapter not working for Projector-to-PC

    We have a wall-mounted projector (dell 4320) with VGA In and the other end of the cable is RGB. We have an RGB to DVI-I adapter (w/ DIP switches) inorder to plug the cable into a PC (video card has 1 VGA and 1 DVI-I port). We had no problems until recently, when the PCs hard drive crashed. After re-imaging the PC, the computer no longer "sees" the projector (the computer doesn't detect the projector as a second monitor anymore). The PC is an older Dell with an after-market video card and runs win XP. I also tried it on a new HP box (win 7), but had to add a DVI-I to DVI-D adapter. Any ideas?
