  • ERP system written in SQL Server, Trigger job not running

    We are a manufacturing plant that runs off an ERP system written in SQL Server. I have never worked with SQL and therefore do not know the language. What I do know is that a trigger job that was running and updating data for us, is now NO longer running. Is anyone familiar enough to answer any questions about this for me???     I am using Access and have this SQL SELECT land.id, land.official_name, vaksiner.vaksiner FROM land INNER JOIN (vaksiner INNER JOIN land_sykdom ON vaksiner.id = land_sykdom.sykdom) ON land.kort = land_sykdom.land ORDER BY land.official_name The SQL gives me a result like this: id official_name vaksiner 1 a A 1 a C 2 b A 2 b B 2 b C But I want to combine the result so that it looks like this: id official_name vaksiner 1 a A, C 2 b A, B, C

What I want is producing the same query result as this SQL SELECT * FROM table_1 WHERE column_1 LIKE '__0%' I want to query from table_1 where column_1's third character is '0' Is there equivalent statement in LINQ :D thank you

    I have started a new project in .NET which uses some old system's datababase in MySql. The data stored in mysql is periodicaly transfered to MS Sql on which our system works. I need to authenticate users with their login and password. User's passwords are stored as hash generated by OLD_PASSWORD function from mysql. Is there any way to generate such hash using Ms Sql or .NET ?

    Is there a quick and easy way to backup both MS SQL 2008 and MySQL, all their databases? Right now I have a batch script that runs, but I have to manually add a database each and every time, and I'm sick of maintaining it. So I want to set it up to backup all MS SQL and then all MySQL, I dont care if its two different solutions, just want the ability to backup all the databases without having to type them in.     I was wondering if there was a way to extract all the values of a column, and then save each value into separate text files (labeled ANYTHING, 1-100 works fine). I know how to do this through another language, but I'm using SQL Server 2008 with Microsoft SQL Server Manager and it would save me some time from figuring out how to do it through C#.

The problem is that all the games that are displayed don't have status 0 .     I have an sql statement that currently is just returning all the end parent rows for a list of child rows: SELECT DISTINCT row FROM table heirarchy WHERE parent_row = NULL CONNECT BY nocycle PRIOR parent_row = row START WITH row IN (select statement returning child rows) Is there a way to show the child and its corresponding parent together in the same result set using a modified version of my sql?
