    I am writing a GAE application and I would like to have an input box with google auto-suggest. Specifically, when a user types "Shawshank" I would like to see google's suggestions in my drop down. Can someone tell me what are the different ways of doing this? I understand I may have to use some javascript libraries so any code samples etc will help immensely. (Pure javascript/jquery kinda solutions will be more preferable)

    I am new to android here i have very silly problem i want to set my Edit text box minimum and maximum input value. Here I am creating one Simple validation for Edit text it only take A-Z and 0-9 value with minimum 5 and Maximum 8 character.     Hi I am having issues making my footer stick to the bottom of the page in all browsers. In IE8, however, the list item tabs are on separate lines When I add an XHTML doctype, the page renders correctly in IE8 except the footer is not drawn at the bottom of the page in IE8, Chrome or Firefox, i.e. the footer sits directly below the menu bar. Example doctype: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd"> What am I doing wrong?

    I want to make an article rotator similar to http://www.vmagazine.com/ And I want to use jQuery. I know there are carousels like jCarousel and jQuery Carousel. There is also the Coda-Slider, but I don't fint it very elegant. Can anyone suggest a good jQuery method / script for having an article carousel? I don't want to use MooTools, Prototype etc. since I'm already using jQuery. Any suggestions anyone?

    I'm trying to generate top-level abstract class with JCodeModel library, but I can't find any way to change class modifiers. It's possible for nested classes (JDefinedClass API provides methods that get modifiers as parameters). But for creation of top level classes I found only JCodeModel API methods that get fully qualified name with or without ClassType (class/interface/annotation/enum) as parameters. Does anybody can suggest me how to change modifiers of JDefinedClass to make it abstract?

    One of my users had a single error while opening a file (I'm using standard xml 1.0): The remote name could not be resolved: 'www.w3.org' I found a post here in StackOverflow that deals with this and it suggest setting the XmlResolver property to null. I've tried this, and all my documents still seem to load fine. However, the last thing I want is to break the file-reading mechanism of my app, so is it actually safe to disable the resolver?
