• Synergy 1.5 crash (OSX 10.6.8)

  THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ THIS I recently installed Synergy 1.5 r2278 (for Mac OSX 10.6.8) and was using it fine for most of the day, then it decided to stop working (the only thing I changed systemwise was the screensaver - and then after it started crashing disabled it - to see if it would resolve).   Is it possible to create an on-server rule to distribute/forward incoming email to certain mailboxes , based on senders email address. Example, user1@domain.com sends an email to @user2@domain.com, and I would like for all emails from this user sent to user2@domain.com, to end up in user3@domain.com mailbox I do not want to do a client forwarding, I would like to to it on server in Exchange 2010. • error handler isn't called when file is uploaded via ajax using jQuery form plugin

  Here's my test case. If the form is posted, a 500 error response is sent. If not, the form is sent. If the file input tag is commented out, the error handler is called. If the file input tag is present, the error handler isn't called. I think this might have something to do with the fact that jQuery needs to use an iframe to handle the upload and iframes don't seem to respond to the error handler. Edit: If I add iframe: true to the options passed to ajaxSubmit to force the use of an iframe, the non-file-upload case stops working also, so it definitely has to do with the iframe. Isn't "Google Play services" app the same as the "Google Play" app? Another question I have, due to lack of documentation: what is the scope parameter for? The documentation just says the following, but not defining what an 'authentication scope' exactly is: scope String representing the authentication scope.

• Can a Silverlight application authenticate versus a local LDAP/ActiveDirectory Server

  If I have an externally hosted application (www.outside.com) outside the firewall but users within a company wanted to be able to enable LDAP authentication against their local (behind the firewall) AD server (acting as LDAP) or other LDAP server (call it ldap.inside.com), how would this be done. It seems technically possible in that when a user tried to login to outside.com through a client-side silverlight interface, that the SL app could connect to the outside.com login service and be told to authenticate that user against ldap.inside.com. The SL app would make the calls to ldap.inside.com to authenticate the user. Of course, there is the issue of how the server is notified securely that the client authenticated itself...Has anyone done this?

• SharePoint: Can't Connect to a Configuration Database When Using Configuration Wizard

  Hello everyone. I wonder if you could help me with the following problem: We have a SharePoint farm consisted of two servers with an NLB (a load balancer), a database server and an index server (4 servers in total). The issues initially appeared when we were trying to change Search settings via Shared services provider and an error was appearing with the message I can’t even remember now. To fix that problem, we decided to restart Search services on the Index server via Central Administration… and the process had stuck with a status “stopping” for several days. We’ve found a few solutions on the forums, but nothing had helped. Then we’ve tried to exclude the Index server from the farm, but yet again, Search services would not stop. However, after a week we’ve noticed that the services finally stopped. That was a prologue. So, after the Search services have finally stopped, we decided to return the Index server back to the farm via the SharePoint Configuration wizard. When we click on a button “Search database instances” (don’t know the exact name in English, we have a Russian version), a correct database name and user are automatically appear in the relevant fields. Then we supply a password for the user and click “next” two times and the configuration begins. Unfortunately, at the second stage we receive the error “Could not connect to a configuration database” with the exception in the log file: “Exception: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.” Now we can’t figure out why the configuration wizard can’t connect to the configuration database. Any suggestions will be really appreciated.

  I want to modify the stock JQuery UI slider so that the handle has a arrow on it rather than being a square. i.e. I want to use a custom image as the handle.   Hi, I use paperclip to add a file to my model. I want to use the new feature of firefox 3.6, xhr.sendAsBinary, to send a file with an ajax request.   My main UIViewController overrides willRotateToInterfaceOrientation:duration: to adapt the background view for the correct orientation. This works fine when staying within the view. But in my app, the result of some user actions can lead to presenting another "daughter" UIViewController. When the user is done with that daughter UIViewController, she normally returns to the main view controller. My code calls dismissModalViewControllerAnimated: to do so. The issue occurs when the user changes the iPad orientation while the daughter UIViewController is on screen. Then, the main UIViewController will never see any call to willRotateToInterfaceOrientation:duration: and its background view will be incorrect. This setup works fine in iOS 4: the iOS 4 implementation of dismissModalViewControllerAnimated: calls UIWindow's _setRotatableClient:toOrientation:updateStatusBar:duration:force: which calls willRotateToInterfaceOrientation:duration: for the switched in UIViewController. Apparently , this behavior changed for iOS 5. How am I expected to implemented orientation changes while my view is off screen under iOS5? Am I supposed to query the current orientation in viewWillAppear: for example?

  I've tried these phones: Moto Backflip 1.5, Nexus One 2.1 Basically I register BroadcastReceiver to get ACTION_HEADSET_PLUG broadcast and look on 3 extras that come in intent: state name microphone Here is the description from API: * state - 0 for unplugged, 1 for plugged. * name - Headset type, human readable string * microphone - 1 if headset has a microphone, 0 otherwise Issue #1: Broadcast comes when activity is started (not expected), when screen rotation happens (not expected) and when headset/headphones plugged/unplugged (expected). Issue #2: Backflip phone sends null for state + microphone, 'No Device' as name when headset/headphones unplugged, and sends null for state + microphone, 'Stereo HeadSet'/'Stereo HeadPhones' as name when headset/headphones plugged. Nexus even worse, it always sends null for state + microphone, 'Headset' as name when headset/headphones plugged or unplugged. Question: How it can be explained that API is broken so much on both 1.5 and 2.1 versions and different devices, manufactures?

Can you please help me as to what i am doing wrong. And yes if i send just batchProgressMetricsList.get(0) in MAV it just works fine.
