  • ASP.NET small online store, shopping cart

    Currently I have a site that is using Google Checkout's mini cart system and I like it a lot, however, I'm wondering if there is a more professional way of doing it, while still keeping it simple. I've looked into an authorize.net account, but I need to find a way to handle the mini shopping cart before heading off to process the order. Are there any good open source mini shopping carts that are not linked with a merchant service?

  • background-color:#070707; different in photoshop than in browser

    I'm coding a website with: background-color:#070707; That color should be a very dark gray, just the way I see it in photoshop. Now when I launch this in my browser (the background-color is set on the body using CSS, so it's not an exported image), the color is darker than in Photoshop. I know there can be differences when exporting images due to color profiling, but when setting the color code, how can this be different from photoshop? Thanks a lot for helping

    Hi All, I have ear deployed in jboss 5.0.1, on windows 2008 which is 64 bit machine and we are using 64jvm, with this combination our VFS temp size increases a lot eventually all our physical hard drive space is used by replicating files. but if we change our JVm from 64 to 32 every thing looks ok. does any one one what is reason ?and possible solution as we want ot use 64bit jvm.     I understand that cubes are optimized data structures for aggregating and "slicing" large amounts of data. I just don't know how they are implemented. I can imagine a lot of this technology is proprietary, but are there any resources that I could use to start implementing my own cube technology? Set theory and lots of math are probably involved (and welcome as suggestions!), but I'm primarily interested in implementations: the data structures and query algorithms. Thanks!

"Großen Haag 5c, DE-47559 Kranenburg" or "Lange Ruthe 7b, 55294 Bodenheim" the zipcode is always a five digit number and sometimes follows "DE-". I use Java. Thanks a lot!

    I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the recent Safari update, but I'm beginning to notice this a lot. There is a drastic difference in the way each browser is rendering fonts. for instance, I took screenshots of what I am seeing here on stackoverflow... http://twitpic.com/q43eh I have verified that this is a trend via my co-workers machines. has anyone noticed this or have any thoughts on non-hack solutions?

  • Is unobtrusive RJS files in Rails 3 considered a good idea?

    I'm working on implementing javascript functionality in my rails 3 app. Now that rjs is supposedly unobtrusive (I honestly don't know a lot about rjs), is it still "evil"? It seems to me the downside may be a lack of testability, but partial page updates via rjs seem to be easier than jumping through the rails hurdles to make ajax requests via jquery. Thoughts? Examples?
