• Splitting string into array upon token

  I'm writing a script to perform an offsite rsync backup, and whenever the rsyncline recieves some output it goes into a single variable. I then want to split that variable into an array upon the ^M token, so that I can send them to two different logger-sessions (so I get them on seperate lines in the log). • weird problem..the exact xml work in one host and not working in another...

  hi all! i search alot for this but can't find an aswer... • Copy one column over another in a delimited file

  For instance, I needed to remove column 25 and replace it with a copy of column 22 in a simple csv file with no embedded delimiters. The best I could come up with was the awkward looking: awk -F, '{ for(x=1;x<25;x++){printf("%s,", $x)};printf("%s,",$22);for(x=26;x<59;x++){printf ("%s,", $x)};print $59}' I would expect something like cut -d, -f1-24,23,26-59 to work but cut doesn't seem to want to print the same column two times... Is there a more elegant way to do it using anything typicaly available in a linux shell environment?

• C# sending mails with images inline using SmtpClient

  SmtpClient() allows you to add attachments to your mails, but what if you wanna make an image appear when the mail opens, instead of attaching it? As I remember, it can be done with about 4 lines of code, but I don't remember how and I can't find it on the MSDN site. EDIT: I'm not using a website or anything, not even an IP address. The image(s) are located on a harddrive. When sent, they should be part of the mail. So, I guess I might wanna use an tag... but I'm not too sure, since my computer isn't broadcasting.

  I am extending the System.Net.Mail.MailAddress class to include an ID field, so I created a new custom MailAddress class that inherited from the existing class and a new custom MailAddressCollection class. I then overrode the existing System.Net.Mail.MailMessage.To to use my new collection. I would like to process the recipients in parallel, but I can't get the syntax right. This is the syntax I am using. ID 5,6 are only present by product 3. So, the entry's (cat and name) which are present by all products (product_id) have to be selected. The database contains 80.000 entry's with a lot of diffrent cat's, name's and value's. Is this possible with one query or is some php necessary? How do I do this? My apologies for the bad English.

The app will only attempt to display the mail composer dialog if the "canSendMail" method of class MFMailComposeViewController returns true (YES). • How to structure data... Sequential or Hierarchical?

  I'm going through the exercise of building a CMS that will organize a lot of the common documents that my employer generates each time we get a new sales order. Each new sales order gets a 5 digit number (12222,12223,122224, etc...) but internally we have applied a hierarchy to these numbers: + 121XX |--01 |--02 + 122XX |--22 |--23 |--24 In my table for sales orders, is it better to use the 5 digital number as an ID and populate up or would it be better to use the hierarchical structure that we use when referring to jobs in regular conversation? The only benefit to not populating sequentially seems to be formatting the data later on in my view, but that doesn't sound like a good enough reason to go through the extra work. Thanks

  I want to send an anonymous email to my own gmail/hotmail/yahoo/any other mail service address (Im not trying to spam or something like that). Why? I have a .NET application and I want to add a "Send log to the developer" feature (attaching the log) using SmtpClient. The fact is I've read like 30+ pages, and found out, i.e. gmail's smtp client doesn't allow anonymous connections, and many other things. The idea is to receive a mail message like this: From: [email protected] (non-existent email really) To: [email protected] (this would be my real address which will recieve the logs attachments) Subject: Issue report nºX (auto-generated) Body: From a textbox Attachments: logs attached Is this possible? Before calculation takes place: Make sure all three select values are changed before function(F) takes place. If not prompt the user with a notice ( create dom element/ I am using jquery) b. • Android:simulating 1-bit display

  I'm new to Android,trying to build a simple game which use 1-bit black and white display.the screen dimension is 160 * 80,that is 12800 pixels.I created a byte array for the "VRAM",so each time it draws,it first checks the array. The thing is that I am not drawing a point or rectangle for each pixel,I'm using 2 bitmaps(ARGB_4444,I have to use alpha channel,because of shadow effect),1 for positive and 1 for negative.So I called 12800 times drawBitmap() in the surfaceView's Draw method.I know that's silly...But even for openGL,12800 quards won't be that fast right?   I'm getting a KeyError for an out of dictionary key, even though I know the key IS in fact in the dictionary.   I am about to embark on my first outlook 2007 plugin. I would like to create a new tool bar that will have a button that will initially be disabled. When the user selects a message the button should be enabled... but only if the email is of a certain type of email... This is where I need your expert advice, is there a way to quickly flag an email in outlook, so that in the email select event you can look for a property of that email... for example... on_select if mail.type = "FromISP" then I would prefer not to use the from field.... the other thing is during the send process I need to set the flag, I am doing this again using .net so I have full control over how the mail is created. • Apache redirect when users home directory is completely empty.

  I work for an ISP and I have a server with thousands of users 10MB of free storage. They get this free storage with every e-mail account they have with us. An example of a users storage address: http://users.example.com/~username/ One problem I can see is scanning the server for user names to see what accounts are available, basically getting a list of all our customers valid e-mail addresses. This would be very, very bad. So I'm wanting to redirect to our homepage if someone comes across a users account that is empty (I'd say 90% of them are completely empty). I also do not want to simply -Indexes them and use a custom 403 because the few customers that do use them, want +Indexes. I know I can always just tell the customers to put a htaccess file in their directory with Options +indexes if they want directory listing, but that's a last resort. How can I make it pretty much impossible to tell what accounts are on the server but not in use at all?

  I've been looking for documentation on the standard behaviour for mail servers who fail to deliver their mail. I want the 'From' field to be different from the account that receives emails when there is a delivery failure. E.g. My program sends an email from '[email protected]', and on failure to deliver I want to be sent the delivery failure bounceback at '[email protected]'. Is this accomplished by setting the reply-to? Or should I login with the 'failedemails' account and therefore it will receive the email back? Thanks.

  The below gives me a fatal error saying that "mymail" was not found. Any ideas why?   I have a picker that prompts the user to choose a gender and an age group (17-21, 22-26, etc.) These 2 choices determine which view the user will be brought to after pressing the button, but I am having troubles writing the method for that button.
