Now each of these pieces of code run separately but I run multiple of these per domain per project(directory) but the code thinks for some reason that it is top level and its not so when you go to mydomain.com/something it works but if you go to mydomain.com/something/ you will get an error. No I have tested and figured out that nginx is stripping the "something" from the request/query so that when you go to mydomain.com/something/ the code thinks you are going to mydomain.com// how do I get nginx to stop removing this information?     I have a local folder /bar, and I want to be able access via http://www.example.com/foo. So I have the config like rewrite ^/foo/(.*)$ /bar/$1 last; At the same time, I want to block public access to the real url /bar, Then I add the config like location ~* ^/bar{ return 404; } But when I add this url into the config, the 1st config above not work, now both return 404 Anything I should fix in order to make the rewrite work? I have created a separate vlan and configured the proxy but not sure how i can route all traffic through this. The aim of this task is create a test network which makes users appear in the location of the proxy server. (with the external ip address of the proxy) Is this possible and how should i do this.     Hi I need to sum 9 cells of data, each one on a separate sheet, but always in the same location. I only want a figure returned when all the cells have data, even if it's a 0. But, if one of the cells is blank I want a blank return. I'm trying to get my head around, making it up actually, where the IFs and ISBLANK and SUMS would go.   • How to make Nginx fire 504 immediately is server is not available?

    I have Nginx set up as a load balancer with cookie-based stickiness. The logic is: If the cookie is NOT there, use round-robbing to choose a server from cluster. If the cookie is there, go to the server that is associated with the cookie value. Server is then responsible for setting the cookie. What I want to add is this: If the cookie is there, but server is down, fallback to round-robbing step to choose next available server. So actually I have load balancing and want to add failover support on top of it. I have managed to do that with the help of error_page directive, but it doesn't work as I expected it to. The problem: 504 (and the fallback associated with it) fires only after 30s timeout even if the server is not physically available. So what I want Nginx to do is fire a 504 (or any other error, doesn't matter) immediately (I suppose this means: when TCP connection fails). This is the behavior we can see in browsers: if we go directly to server when it is down, browser immediately tells us that it can't connect. Moreover, Nginx seems to be doing this for 502 error: if I intentionally misconfigure my servers, Nginx fires 502 immediately.     My broadband speed is sometimes lacking, and therefore it can be difficult to view Flash streams of programmes. So my idea is to start a Flash stream, let it run to completion no matter how long it takes, and then view the temporary .swf file. I've discovered the location of my Google Chrome temporary files. However, there is no file type associated with these files. Therefore, I'm wondering if the idea above will work, and how can I retrieve only .swf files?

    I'm going to move my Winamp library from its current location (in various folders inside My Documents) to My Music, but I can't just drag and drop them, as there's thousands of files within My Documents that I don't want moved. I can get the path of every single music file from Winamp, but I don't know any way to move them all. I'd like some way to maintain their current folder arrangement, and not just dump all the files in a single folder, unorganised.

    Hi, I'm trying to pick up Svn.NET (http://www.pumacode.org/projects/svndotnet/) library for use in my Mono project. I tried compiling its mockapp - svnmockapp project (http://www.pumacode.org/projects/svndotnet/browser/trunk/SvnMockApp) , I am able to get the references right and get it compiled right. I understand that it references 2 other modules libapr (libapr-1.so.0) and svn_client (libsvn_client-1.so.0) , by which I've created PumaCode.SvnDotNet.dll.config in /bin/Debug . That is all I've done to tried to try to get the mockapp at least outputting something to show that it is indeed interfacing SVN. Nevertheless, it is not working.   • web.config inheritance problem

    Hello everyone, I am having an issue when I try and prevent inhertiance from a parent web.config down to a child specifically related to the node. My parent web.config contains about a dozen appSettings values while my child web.config contains none. Now, I originally began wrapping around only my system.net, web, etc nodes however when I ran my child application I recieved the following error: The configuration section 'appSettings' cannot be read because it is missing a section declaration I really wasn't sure what this meant and a google search didn't yield me any decent results so I attempted to move the location node to also encompass the field in my parent web.config but to no avail. My child web.config is pretty vanilla so I am not sure what the problem is. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.   • What is the right tool to detect VMT or heap corruption in Delphi ?

    I'm a member in a team that use Delphi 2007 for a larger application and we suspect heap corruption because sometimes there are strange bugs that have no other explanation. I believe that the Rangechecking option for the compiler is only for arrays. I want a tool that give an exception or log when there is a write on a memory address that is not allocated by the application. EDIT3: The theory right now is that the Virtual Memory Table (VMT) is somehow broken. When this happen there is no indication of it. Only when a method is called an exception is raised (ALWAYS on address FFFFFFDD, -35 decimal) but then it is too late. You don't know the real cause for the error. Any hint of how to catch a bug like this is really appreciated!!! We have tried with SafeMM, but the problem is that the memory consumption is too high even when the 3 GB flag is used. So now I try to give a bounty to the SO community :) EDIT4: One hint is that according the log there is often (or even always) another exception before this. It can be for example optimistic locking in the database. We have tried to raise exceptions by force but in test environment it just works fine. EDIT5: Story continues... I did a search on the logs for the last 30 days now. The result: "Read of address FFFFFFDB" 0 "Read of address FFFFFFDC" 24 "Read of address FFFFFFDD" 270 "Read of address FFFFFFDE" 22 "Read of address FFFFFFDF" 7 "Read of address FFFFFFE0" 20 "Read of address FFFFFFE1" 0 So the current theory is that an enum (there is a lots in Bold) overwrite a pointer. I got 5 hits with different address above. It could mean that the enum holds 5 values where the second one is most used. If there is an exception a rollback should occur for the database and Boldobjects should be destroyed. Maybe there is a chance that not everything is destroyed and a enum still can write to an address location. If this is true maybe it is possible to search the code by a regexpr for an enum with 5 values ? EDIT6: To summarize, no there is no solution to the problem yet. I realize that I may mislead you a bit with the callstack. Yes there are a timer in that but there are other callstacks without a timer. Sorry for that. But there are 2 common factors. An exception with Read of address FFFFFFxx. Top of callstack is System.TObject.InheritsFrom (sys\system.pas:9237) This convince me that VilleK best describe the problem. I'm also convinced that the problem is somewhere in the Bold framework. But the BIG question is, how can problems like this be solved ? It is not enough to have an Assert like VilleK suggest as the damage has already happened and the callstack is gone at that moment. So to describe my view of what may cause the error: Somewhere a pointer is assigned a bad value 1, but it can be also 0, 2, 3 etc. An object is assigned to that pointer. There is method call in the objects baseclass. This cause method TObject.InheritsForm to be called and an exception appear on address FFFFFFDD. Those 3 events can be together in the code but they may also be used much later. I think this is true for the last method call. EDIT7: We work closely with the the author of Bold Jan Norden and he recently found a bug in the OCL-evaluator in Bold framework. When this was fixed these kinds of exceptions decreased a lot but they still occasionally come. But it is a big relief that this is almost solved.
