• exchange server 2010 with multiple domains

  i have one exchange server 2010, which is working fine with one domain. my exchange is working as follows pop3 collector collect emails from one master catchall account and then deliver to exchange server, this working perfect. now what i want to add another domain to same exchange, i have added new domain as trusted domain & email policy and this new domain email account works fine with internal emails. now what i have done, i again forward new email account to same catchall account. but if i send email from any other external email address email is bounce, i can see email receive by pop3 collector but bounce by exchange server. to make you more clear let me explain logic on which i am working. i have 2 domains 1. domain1.com ([email protected]) 2. domain2.com ([email protected] -->[email protected]) now on my machine with exchange server i have pop3 collector which collect all emails from [email protected] and forward to exchange 2010 server. all emails to domain1.com is working perfect but when i send email to [email protected] this email redirect to [email protected] perfectly but when exchanger server receive this email, it bounce. i have also study the url link text and follow the whole process but no success. i also check that my DNS/MX is working fine as the bounce message is going from my exchange server. EDIT the only problem is with accepted domain, as email come to exchange server then bounce back. i just try this today i create one user called test, then i goto his properties -- email there was only one email account [email protected] i try to send email to [email protected] from internet (email bounce) then again i go to test user properties -- email and Add one email [email protected] again u try to send email to t*[email protected]* from internet (email received) i think the only problem is with accepted domain but in hub transport , it shows accepted is there any way to check does domain is properly accepted or not in exchange 2010 server. • mysql is not using multiple cpus

  Hi, Our MySQL server has been using a lot of CPU lately (it's reached 100% several times and stays there for a while) and I noticed that it the CPU load is all on one core of one cpu. I was hoping to spread that out to all 4 on my server. I have been tweaking the MySQL settings to use more ram and less cpu, but it still occasionally reaches very high CPU usage. It seems like everything about the topic refers to thread_concurrency (which I've read is a solaris only setting). What can I do in Linux? Thanks.

• Corrupted files, hard drive test?

  Hi guys, I'm currently on a macbook with a 1TB external hard drive connected trough a USB hub wich is connected on my macbook. The problem is, my disk, wich is partitioned in 2 (one HFS+ and one NTFS) keeps getting corrupted, recently it was my HFS+ partition, I could not repair it using the Apple's Disk utility, but was able to backup my files. Is it synonym that my hard drive is failing? Is it because of my USB hub? I also keep all my iTunes library on my external HD (HFS+ partition), and did a lot of transfer lately, adding files, removing etc. the last time, my partition got corrupted after a lot of deleted items. If anybody has an idea of what to check first, what could cause the problem, I would appreciate it :) Thanks!

  When trying to do an svn up I get the normal At revision XX even though some files are missing, the missing files do show when doing an svn list example: $ svn list > ConditionTest.java > persistence $ ls > persistence $ svn list > ConditionTest.java > persistence/ $ svn up > Is at revision 55 $ ls > persistence The file ConditionTest.java is not added unless manually running svn up ConditionTest.java What is up? Can't I trust svn anymore? Running svn, version 1.6.6 (r40053)

  In Notepad++, is it possible to force all (or at least the 3 or 4 deepest) pairs of braces/brackets/parens/etc. that enclose the cursor to become highlighted? Preferably in different colors for each matched pair? For instance, in this example: int main(char** args) { if(blah) { ... } } If we place the cursor anywhere in the if-block, the main function's opening and closing braces should become one color, while the if-block's braces become another. The coloring for each block should stay the same as long the cursor is still in that block.

  I have a set of files from example001.txt to example100.txt. Each file contains a list of keywords from a superset (the superset is available if we want it). So example001.txt might contain apple banana ... otherfruit I'd like to be able to process these files and produce something akin to a matrix so there is the list of examples* on the top row, the fruit down the side, and a '1' in a column if the fruit is in the file. An example might be... x example1 example2 example3 Apple 1 1 0 Babana 0 1 0 Coconut 0 1 1 Any idea how I might build some sort of command-line magic to put this together?   Hello, I've got a table with multiple <tbody> elements. At a given time, only one <tbody> is displayed, or all of them are displayed. I currently use this CSS3 code to stripe the table. table tr:nth-child(even) { background: #efefef; } When a single <tbody> element is shown, everything is (obviously) fine, but when multiple <tbody> elements are shown the CSS rules apply to each one separately, and each <tbody> has its own "stripes system". Together the stripes may or may not look consistent, depending on the number of rows. <tbody> <tr> [ODD] <tr> [EVEN] <tr> [ODD] </tbody> <tbody> <tr> [ODD] <tr> [EVEN] </tbody> ... Would I absolutely have to use JavaScript (...jQuery) to fix this?

  After googeling for ages, and reading some stuff about async task in books. I made a my first program with an async task in it. Only to find out, that i can only start one task. I want to run the task more then once. This is where i found out that that doesn't seem to work. to be a little bit clearer, here are some parts of my code: InitFunction(var); This is the Task itself public async Task InitFunction(string var) { _VarHandle = await _AdsClient.GetSymhandleByNameAsync(var); _Data = await _AdsClient.ReadAsync<T>(_VarHandle); _AdsClient.AddNotificationAsync<T>(_VarHandle, AdsTransmissionMode.OnChange, 1000, this); } This works like a charm when i execute the task only once.. But is there a possibility to run it multiple times. Something like this? InitFunction(var1); InitFunction(var2); InitFunction(var3); Because if i do this now (multiple tasks at once), the task it wants to start is still running, and it throws an exeption. if someone could help me with this, that would be awesome! ~ Bart

  I keep several fonts in the directory "/fonts/" on my server which I then load into my css files via @font-face. However, I want to make sure that people cannot download the file just by simply going to http://www.domain.com/fonts/fontname.ttf. Can I somehow prevent this, and still be able to load the font files into my css files? Because I think putting deny from all into the .htaccess file will even prevent the css files for correctly loading the fonts. I hope this makes sense.

  I have an Exchange 2003 box that is seriously overstressed. I want to transfer its duties to a new and faster box. I don't cannot suffer downtime, so I have to do this stuff live. Here's what I plan to do: Install Exchange 2003 on the new server Set up the new server, so it will accept requests from users for their mailboxes I want to do as little manual set up as possible, because that 'll eat up my time and is too error prone Than I want to transfer my datastores one by one to the new server and have those users (once the datastore in the new server is up and running) to get their data from the new server (without them noticing) I don't have to transfer all the datastores, some of them need to stay on the old box (because I'm still waiting for extra HD space to arrive from the supplier) What steps do I need to follow to do this? The new box has never seen this domain before, the old exchange server is not the DC, we have a dedicated DC.

  I need to forward e-mails to different mail accounts by different conditions. The aim is to create mail notification scheme for my company. I'd like to setup server on dedicated mail domain for it. Is there any software that helps to get my aim (Linux)? Examples: 1) forward all e-mail sent to [email protected] to x@x, y@y, z@z (no conditions) 2) forward e-mail sent to [email protected] where subject contains '[finance]' to a@b and b@b 3) forward e-mail sent to [email protected] where subject contains '[fault]' to s@s and s2@s. Receivers' domains are different. P.S. Now we use Gmail filters to get this functionality, but it's unstable and hard to maintain.

• not able to open files in windows partition from linux on a dual boot system

  I have installed dual boot on my laptop, windows XP && Fedora linux. For some unknown reason windows XP is not booting up. Through fedora I'm able to see the windows XP partition and files in it. But the problem here is, I'm not able to open those files from linux. Does anybody hit this kind of issue, if so and incase you figured out the soluton, can you please share the solution?   Can someone please help with trying to use mod rewrite so foo.domain.com is rewritten to domain.com/p.php?s=foo and foo.domain.com/bar to domain.com/p.php?s=foo&p=bar? Currently my .htaccess is: RewriteEngine On # Remove www RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.domain.com$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://domain.com/$1 [R=301,L] # Rewrite subdomain etc. RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(.*)\.domain\.com$ [NC] RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/?$ p.php?s=%1&p=$2 [QSA,L,NC] But I can't work out how to grab the second variable (being optional and after a slash at the end of the URI. I've tried changing the end of the condition to ?/(.*)$, but to no avail and my mod rewrite skills are certainly naff!

• Program that converts Windows 7 install files into iso

  I recently got to build a custom image of Windows 7 and I can successfully install it on other computers. The problem I have is right now I have to do the installs from a bootable hard drive. I would much rather do this from a disk or ISO. I know there is a program that will take the Windows 7 system files and convert it to ISO image, but I can't think of it. Otherwise, could I just simply burn the files to a DVD? Would that work?

• Creating multiple instances of a generic database

  Hi all, currently I'm trying to have a setup where a generic database is distributed to students. They would develop an application using this database (Say a shopping cart application), submit their project onto our server, and then it would be graded automatically. These databases are being run in Microsoft SQL Server 2005. We're using user instances to instantiate each database, and multiple requests could be serviced at once. But, the problem is when more than one student submitted a project to be graded, the first database to be instantiated would be the only one and would overwrite all other copies that were currently open. So if stu1 modified his database and stu2 and stu3 had their projects being graded concurrently, at the end of the grading stu1, stu2, and stu3 would have identical DB's at the end. Is there any way I can have multiple independent copies of a generic database, each of which I can load concurrently and modify without having any changes made to any one affecting the others? I did a little reading, and thought it might be possible to do something along the lines of: Student submits project Attach the database with unique db name (specified by student) Do all necessary operations Detach the database I'm unsure if this would fix our problem or be possible, so any help would be much appreciated!

• After deleting log files, Ubuntu server still saying there is no space

  My Ubuntu server has stopped due to a lack of disk space. I deleted some log files which has grown huge very quickly. But df -h still shows I have no space left. When I run du -sh /* I can see that I should have plenty of disk space left after deleting the logs. I ran lsof +L1 and it brought up two files: /var/log/mail.log and /var/log/mail.err. These are two logs I had deleted. I restarted apache, postfix and mysql (mysql wont restart because of lack of disk space, it think) but still df -h shows no space.

• Cygwin diff won't exclude files if a directory is included in the pattern

  I need to do a recursive diff using cygwin that needs do exclude all .xml files from certain directories, but not from other directories. According to the --help option I should be able to do this with with the --exclude=PAT option where PAT is a pattern describing the files I want to exclude from the diff. If I do this: diff -rw --exclude="classes/Services.xml" the diff does not ignore the Services.xml file in the classes directory. If I do this diff -rw --exclude="Services.xml" the diff does ignore the Services.xml file in all directories. I need to do something like this: diff -rw --exclude="*/generated/resources/client/*.xml" to ignore all .xml files in the directory */generated/resources/client/. Whenever I add path information to the --exclude pattern cygwin does not ignore the file(s) I've specified in the pattern. Is there some way to make cygwin diff recognize a pattern that identifies certain files in certain directories? It seems to not be able to handle any directory information at all.

• unlock database files when SQL server is idle

  In my development/test environment on my laptop, I can't back up the SQL server database files because the file handles are kept permanently open by SQL server (VSS doesn't work because the drive is truecrypted) I was hoping there may be some setting in SQL server that can make it unlock the data files after a certain period of inactivity and automatically open them again on demand, but I can't find anything. I don't really want to be dumping the database out every night because it's only a development environment. apart from stopping sql server before I do the backup is there any other solution?

My current config to connect to another servers is using different port to connect. e.g ssh -D 1080 -p 22 [email protected] ssh -D 1081 -p 22 [email protected] Now what I would like to have to share the same port from the same box. ssh -D 1080 -p 22 [email protected] ssh -D 1080 -p 22 [email protected] But when I share it, I will get below error: bind: Address already in use channel_setup_fwd_listener: cannot listen to port: 1080 Could not request local forwarding. How could I configure the same port? help. thank you. I want to share the same port because this is needed when configuring firewall in Citrix Firewall on other machine, not needed to many many ports and keep changing when changing connection. thank you.

• Managing trace files on Sql Server 2005

  I need to manage the trace files for a database on Sql Server 2005 Express Edition. The C2 audit logging is turned on for the database, and the files that it's creating are eating up a lot of space. Can this be done from within Sql Server, or do I need to write a service to monitor these files and take the appropriate actions? I found the [master].[sys].[trace] table with the trace file properties. Does anyone know the meaning of the fields in this table?
