    Das Oracle Enterprise Repository (OER) ist die zentrale Stelle zur Verwaltung von SOA Artefakten aller Art, mit dem Ziel, den gesamten Lebenszyklus dieser Artefakte zu begleiten. Es ist wesentliche Grundlage für deren Wiederverwendung, für die Ermittlung von Abhängigkeiten, wie auch für die Bestimmung des Wertes dieser Artefakte, was wiederum für den Nutzen der SOA Implementierung von Bedeutung ist. In AIA 11g wird die aktuelle Version des OER unterstützt und wird zusätzlich ergänzt durch die Project Lifecycle Workbench, in der die funktionale Spezifikation, die Aufteilung der Prozesse, oder beispielsweise die Generierung des Deployment Plans erfolgt.Für die Bereitstellung der Artefakte des Foundation Pack 11g gibt es inzwischen ein zugehöriges AIA Solution Pack für OER, mit dem die entsprechenden Strukturen, sowie die Bestandteile des Foundation Packs 11g, also EBOs, EBMs, EBSs, usw. unabhängig von einer AIA Installation direkt importiert werden können.   • Oracle Response to Apache Departure from JCP

    Last month Oracle renominated Apache to the Java Executive Committee because we valued their active participation and perspective on Java. Earlier this week, by an overwhelming majority, the Java Executive Committee voted to move Java forward by formally initiating work on both Java SE 7 and SE 8 based on their technical merits. Apache voted against initiating technical committee work on both SE 7 and SE 8, effectively voting against moving Java forward. Now, despite supporting the technical direction, Apache have announced that they are quitting the Executive Committee. Oracle has a responsibility to move Java forward and to maintain the uniformity of the Java standard for the millions of Java developers and the majority of Executive Committee members agree. We encourage Apache to reconsider its position and remain a part of the process to move Java forward. ASF and many open source projects within it are an important part of the overall Java ecosystem.     Hello Webmasters, I am a Wordpress fan, and I'm now building a new site and I'm not sure which CMS can achieve what I'm trying to do. I am building a food blog network for a bunch of cities in the US, and I want to my city pages to be independently running blogs themselves. So basically... Home Page - Its own blog with its own users, talking about Food in general Dallas Page (child of home page) - Its own blog with its own users Chicago Page ..... so on and so forth. The web layout and design will be all the same, but just trying to achieve 25~50 independent blogs on one domain. How can I achieve this? I'm hoping that I don't have to install Wordpress into as many subdomains that I create... Thank you for your help in advance. -RP

  • JWT Token Security with Fusion Sales Cloud

    When integrating SalesCloud with a 3rd party application you often need to pass the users identity to the 3rd party application so that  The 3rd party application knows who the user is The 3rd party application needs to be able to do WebService callbacks to Sales Cloud as that user.  Until recently without using SAML, this wasn't easily possible and one workaround was to pass the username, potentially even the password, from Sales Cloud to the 3rd party application using URL parameters.. With Oracle Fusion R8 we now have a proper solution and that is called "JWT Token support". This is based on the industry JSON Web Token standard , for more information see here JWT Works by allowing the user the ability to generate a token (lasts a short period of time) for a specific application. This token is then passed to the 3rd party application as a GET parameter.  The 3rd party application can then call into SalesCloud and use this token for all webservice calls, the calls will be executed as the user who generated the token in the first place, or they can call a special HR WebService (UserService-findSelfUserDetails() ) with the token and Fusion will respond with the users details. Some more details  The following will go through the scenario that you want to embed a 3rd party application within a WebContent frame (iFrame) within the opportunity screen.  1. Define your application using the topology manager in setup and maintenance  See this documentation link on topology manager 2. From within your groovy script which defines the iFrame you wish to embed, write some code which looks like this : def thirdpartyapplicationurl = oracle.topologyManager.client.deployedInfo.DeployedInfoProvider.getEndPoint("My3rdPartyApplication" )def crmkey= (new oracle.apps.fnd.applcore.common.SecuredTokenBean().getTrustToken())def url = thirdpartyapplicationurl +"param1="+OptyId+"&jwt ="+crmkeyreturn (url)  This snippet generates a URL which contains The Hostname/endpoint of the 3rd party application Two Parameters The opportunityId stored in parameter "param1" The JWT Token store in  parameter "jwt" 3. From your 3rd Party Application you now have two options Execute a webservice call by first setting the header parameter "Authentication" to the JWT token. The webservice call will be executed against Fusion Applications "As" the user who execute the process To find out "Who you are" , set the header parameter to "Authentication" and execute the special webservice call findSelfUserDetails(), in the UserDetailsService For more information  Oracle Sales Cloud Documentation , specific chapter on JWT Token OTN samples, specifically the Rich UI With JWT Token Sample Oracle Fusion Applications General Documentation

  • Error java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: getNewTla using Oracle EPM products

    Running into a Java out of memory error, it is very common behaviour in the field that the Java heap size will be increased. While this might help to solve a heap space out of memory error, it might not help to fix an out of memory error for the Thread Local Area (TLA). Increasing the available heap space from 1 GB to 16 GB might not even help in this situation. The Thread Local Area (TLA) is part of the Java heap, but as the name already indicates, this memory area is local to a specific thread so there is no need to synchronize with other threads using this memory area. For optimization purposes the TLA size is configurable using the Java command line option “-XXtlasize”. Depending on the JRockit version and the available Java heap, the default values vary. Using Oracle EPM System (mainly 11.1.2.x) the following setting was tested successfully: -XXtlasize:min=8k,preferred=128k More information about the “-XXtlasize” parameter can be found in the JRockit documentation: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13150_01/jrockit_jvm/jrockit/jrdocs/refman/optionXX.html
