  I have installed phpMyAdmin and it works fine. At the bottom of the pages however, there is this error message: The phpMyAdmin configuration storage is not completely configured, some extended features have been deactivated. To find out why click here. In that page, the only red row is this: $cfg['Servers'][$i]['userconfig'] ... not OK [ Documentation ] User preferences: Disabled In the configuration I have this: $cfg['Servers'][$i]['userconfig'] = 'pma_userconfig'; The pma_userconfig was missing from my phpmyadmin db so I found the create_tables.sql from my phpMyAdmin installation and I ran that, then restarted apache and mysql. The table has been created, but the error is not gone. Thanks!

• Install/running ubuntu on extarnal HDD with a windows laptop?

  Sorry for asking, especially as I've trawled through many similar questions. Mine is of the most basic element I think as this kind of thing is really out of my ball park. Anyway I wanted to if by installing ubuntu on my old laptop hdd (I now use it as external storage), can I run it on my laptop which has windows installed. I can't take the chance of installing on the laptop as I'm currently studying, and I have a years worth of work on here (most backed up elsewhere), and will be using it a lot. However there are some programmes I can use if I can get ubuntu that will be helpful for one or two classes. Sorry for the very basic question.

  A new release of the Sun Rack II capacity calculator is available on eSTEP portal. Just uploaded release 51 of the calculator. The following changes have been integrated: Added LOD date of 30 NOV 2014 for ST25xx M2 (NEP LOD – other customers LOD is 31 MAY 2014) Moved 7420 to EOL HW due to met LOD Bug correction : X4-2 and X4-2L weren’t working. Bug correction : ES1-24 RU are now correctly shown (2 ES1-24 only takes 1 RU) The tool calculates all the data necessary (power requirements, BTU, number of rack units, needed power outlets etc.) while inserting the many different kind of HW equipment in aSun Rack II cabinet (version 1000 and 1200). It takes into consideration most of the available servers, storage devices, tapes, and Netra products. There are also a couple of third party products which are taken into account. Also suggest if I should keep all files in my HostServer or just put links to direct downlad frm other sites offering the same video. My goal is Fast Loading on Mobile Browser (2G GPRS). • Wordpress : Automatically transfer media files to Amazon S3

  I've been using VPS to host 7 Wordpress websites, most of them require big storage but very little RAM and traffic. So I'm thinking of moving the static files(uploads folder) content to Amazon S3 and I'm looking for the most viable solution to this. I want every website to have their own bucket and newly uploaded media files automatically uploaded to Amazon S3 without using plugin. I'm ok with cron job, for example the files were uploaded first to my server, then transferred to S3 and deleted from my server every 24 hour. Or is there any way for me to change the default upload directory to my S3 bucket without sacrificing any Wordpress functionality(resize/title etc)? What do you think the most efficient way to do this? Currently I'm looking at this plus cron job but I would like to know better option if it exist.
