Pushing app to heroku problem

Hi, I am trying to push my app to heroku and I get the following message: $ heroku create Creating electric-meadow-15..... done Created http://electric-meadow-15.heroku.com/ | [email protected]:electric-meadow-1 5.git $ git push heroku master ! No such app as fierce-fog-63 fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly It's weird that I am getting this now, I have pushed the app to heroku many times without issue. the especially weird thing is, fierce-fog-63 is an old app that I made a deleted a long time ago. Why is it now that heroku is trying to push to this app that doesn't exist anymore, especially when I have created a new one. Any suggestions?

Hello, I feel silly asking this but I've searched for 'include problems' and have only come up with basic stuff. I'm working with an API that includes/imports in their header files (ARGH! HATE ANGER DESTRUCTION). One of these Obj-C files #import "OpenGL/CGLMacros.h" which #define's things like glMatrixMode(...); In my code I need the glMatrixMode(...); from #include "OpenGL/gl.h" but it won't access it! I can't edit the headers from the (poorly) coded API to put the includes in their definition files. What can I do? If the CGLMacros.h file starts out like /* Copyright: (c) 1999 by Apple Computer, Inc., all rights reserved. */ #ifndef _CGLMACRO_H #define _CGLMACRO_H Can I put a #define _CGLMACRO_H before I include the offending API header file? -Stephen

Problem running ASP.NET MVC 2 website on IIS7

I'm trying to deploy my ASP.NET MVC 2 website from VS2010 beta 2 to IIS7. The publish works fine but none of the routes work, so when I go to the URL http://localhost/myapp/Home/Index I get the error: HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. I'm deploying to a virtual directory which is using an app pool configured for the .NET 4 framework with managed pipeline mode set to integrated. Also, if I go Basic Settings-Test Connection, both tests pass. From what I understand, it should just work? I don't have any problems deploying Nerd Dinner from VS2008, that works fine.

Problem with HSQLDB & SequenceGenerator

Hi, I have an entity which has an ID field: @Id @Column(name = "`U##ID_VOIE`") @GeneratedValue(generator = "VOIE_SEQ") private String id; The class has the sequence generator defined as well: @SequenceGenerator(name = "VOIE_SEQ", sequenceName = "VOIE_SEQ") and the Oracle schema has the requisite sequence present. Everything works okay. We also have tests, which uses an in-memory HSQLDB. Before running the tests, all the tables are created based on the Hibernate entity classes. However the table for this particular class is not being created. And error pops up, because ID is a String and the SequenceGenerator in HSQLDB returns an INT / LONG / Numeric value. The application is using a legacy Oracle database and ID_VOIE column must remain a String / Varchar. Any solutions?

I am writting a Twitter web app by using Twitter4J on GAE/J. I am saving Twitter and Request Token objects in session so that to be used after call back. I have two servlets. IndexServlet sets session and HomeServlet get from session (hits on call back by twitter oAuth). If I comment out session handling lines in both servlets then call backs works fine. Problem exporting NSOpenGLView pixel data to some image file formats using ImageKit & CGImageDestina

I am developing an application to visualise some experimental data. One of its functions is to render the data in an NSOpenGLView subclass, and allow the resulting image to be exported to a file or copied to the clipboard. This works fine when the file is exported as GIF, JPEG, PNG, PSD or TIFF, but exporting to PDF, BMP, TGA, ICNS and JPEG-2000 produces a red colour artefact on part of the image. Example images are below, the first exported as JPG, the second as PDF. Copy to clipboard does not exhibit this red stripe with the current implementation of image, but it did with the original implementation, which generated the imageRep using NSCalibratedRGBColorSpace rather than NSDeviceRGBColorSpace. So I'm guessing there's some issue with the colour representation in the pixels I get from OpenGL that doesn't get through the subsequent conversions properly, but I'm at a loss as to what to do about it. So, can anyone tell me (i) what is causing this, and (ii) how can I make it go away? I don't care so much about all of the formats but I'd really like at least PDF to work.

NHibernate stored procedure problem

I'm having a hard time trying to get my stored procedure works with NHibernate. The data returned from the SP does not correspond to any database table. And later on in CheckNamedQueries function, it is not able to find the persistor for SomeClass. I've checked all the obvious things (e.g. make hbm as an embedded resource) and my code isn't too much different from other samples I found on the web, but somehow I just can't get it working. Any idea how I can resolve this issue?

Loading swf Problem in Air,Flex3

Hi, I have 2 swf file, one file is loading fine in SWFLoader in Air application but another is not loading, i dont know why its happening. differents between two file :- For ex: Swf1 is Main swf .(it has dependency file like xml to read and render) swf2 is Sub swf(which will load (or called) inside swf1 in run time) . When try to load swf2 in flex3 air application using SWFLoader its working fine, but swf1 is not loading. Swf1 is working fine individually in flash player 9. But i need to load SWF1 only. I tried reading previous posts about NP- My question is what does the word "COMPLETE" mean? Why is it there? What is its significance? N- Non-deterministic - makes sense' P- Polynomial - makes sense but the "COMPLETE" is still a mystery for me.

complex mysql query problem

Hey guys I have a query that selects data and organizes but not in the correct order. What I want to do is select all the comments for a user in that week and sort it by each topic, then sort the cluster by the latest timestamp of each comment in their respective cluster. My current query selects the right data, but in seemingly random order. Problem in displaying numbers in Flex AdvancedDataGrid

Hi, I am able to display any data (numbers) in Flex AdvancedDataGrid except data with lot of digits after decimal places (0.000000000029103830456733704) or exponential numbers (293E-17). Grid is displaying -17 instead of 293E-17. Is it happening because of any limit to displaying data range in grid? If yes, what is the limit? Thanks in advance ... Atul

Using Rails, problem testing has_many relationship

The summary is that I've code that works when manually testing, but isn't doing what I would think it should when trying to build an automated test. Here are the details: I've two models: Payment and PaymentTranscation. class Payment ... has_many :transactions, :class_name => 'PaymentTransaction' class PaymentTranscation ... belongs_to payment The PaymentTransaction is only created in a Payment model method, like so: def pay_up ... transactions.create!(params...) ... end I've manually tested this code, inspected the database, and everything works well. The failing automated test looks like this: def test_pay_up purchase = Payment.new(...) assert purchase.save assert_equal purchase.state, :initialized.to_s assert purchase.pay_up # this should create a new PaymentTransaction... assert_equal purchase.state, :succeeded.to_s assert_equal purchase.transactions.count, 1 # FAILS HERE; transactions is an empty array end If I step through the code, it's clear that the PaymentTransaction is getting created correctly (though I can't see it in the database because everything is in a testing transaction). What I can't figure out is why transactions is returning an empty array in the test when I know a valid PaymentTransaction is getting created. Anybody have some suggestions? Thanks in advance, east

Hi, I have two users in my database whose birth date is set to: 1985-01-26 And then i have function which when provided the users' date, tells how many days are left in the birthday. Problem with CommandFinder class...

and I'm not sure why... Hello Everbody! I'm trying to make my first steps with SWTBot. I'm trying to test an Eclipse RCP Application. In one test i'm trying to call a command to save a dirty editor. But an assertion after the call, tells me that the editor is still dirty. An the data in the dirty editor is not showing up in the database. On the other hand, i'm not getting an Exception when calling the command... new CommandFinder().findCommand(CoreMatchers.equalTo(COMMANDNAME_SAVE)).get(0).click(); Has anyone any insperation for me, where i made a mistake?

Having problem with decimal points in MS Excel 2007

I want to generate a graph with a large decimal number like -106.63633167743683 or 52.132235169410706. But whenever I'm entering the value in Excel sheet it is giving me value like -106.63633167743600 (as I have formatted cell with 15 decimal places). It is replacing the value of last two digits by 0. Can anyone help regarding this please?

rake task via cron problem loading rubygems

I have managed to get a cron job to run a rake task by doing the following: cd /home/myusername/approotlocation/ && /usr/bin/rake sendnewsletter RAILS_ENV=development i have checked with which ruby and which rake to make sure the paths are correct (from bash) the job looks like it wants to run as i get the following email from the cron daemon when it completes Missing these required gems: chronic whenever searchlogic adzap-ar_mailer twitter gdata bitly ruby-recaptcha You're running: ruby 1.8.7.22 at /usr/bin/ruby rubygems 1.3.5 at /home/myusername/gems, /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8 Run `rake gems:install` to install the missing gems. (in /home/myusername/approotlocation) my custom rake file within lib/tasks is as follows: task :sendnewsletter => :environment do require 'rubygems' require 'chronic' require 'whenever' require 'searchlogic' require 'adzap-ar_mailer' require 'twitter' require 'gdata' require 'bitly' require 'ruby-recaptcha' @recipients = Subscription.all(:conditions => {:active => true}) for user in @recipients Email.send_later(:deliver_send_newsletter,user) end end with or without the require items, it still gives me the same error ... can anyone shed some light on this? or alternatively advise me on how to make a custom file within the script directory that will run this function (I already have a cron job working that will run and process all my delayed_jobs. Have problem understanding the id/name of java bean

In an XmlBeanFactory (including ApplicationContext variants), you use the id or name attributes to specify the bean id(s), and at least one id must be specified in one or both of these attributes. Does it mean the following are legal? <bean id="test"> <bean name="test"> But this is illegal: <bean non_idnorname="test"> you may also or instead specify one or more bean ids (separated by a comma (,) or semicolon (;) via the name attribute. Does it mean I can specify multiple ids this way: <bean name="id1;id2,id3"> Can someone convince my doubt?
