    I need to display 3 or so new products automatically on the Magento home-page. This means the administrator should NOT have to mark the product as new using the 'New from Date' and 'New to Date' attributes in the 'General' tab.     What are some non commercial deployment tools that allows a developer to speficy: a branch/tag, a revision and a target machine to deploy code to? I was wondering if there's a ccnet plugin of some sort that would allow the above to be specified. I know this could be done with a NAnt deploy script. However considering we're mostly using gui tools for feedback, plus the tortoise svn repository browser, it be cool to lear if there's an GUI simple GUI tool/plugin cheers.

Why does the roll_out event fire when the mouse leaves a button (even when it is still inside the canvas). I'm going nuts trying to figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    This file appears to be in a binary XML format. What is this format and how can it be parsed programmatically (as opposed to using the aapt dump tool in the SDK)? I've some 1:1 comparisons for sqlite, Firebird Embedded, Derby and HSQLDB (others I am missing?) but no across the board comparisons...     Hi, This thing is driving me nuts. I have a UserControl that is called WebUserControl. I need to cache this control, so I put the following in the WebUserControl.ascx: <%@ OutputCache Duration="240" VaryByParam="FeedName" %> Then I have the Default.aspx file in which I have: <div class="divInnerLeft" id="L1" runat="server"> <uc1:WebUserControl FeedId="a1" ID="a1" runat="server" FeedName=""/> </div> <div class="divInnerMiddle" id="M1" runat="server"> <uc1:WebUserControl FeedId="a3" ID="a3" runat="server" FeedName=""/> </div> In the Page_Load event I set the FeedName property - according to the user preferences. The problem is that after initially loading the page, the controls are generated OK. But then, in the Page_Load event they are not available again. So the a1 and a3 are null and I cannot set the FeedName for different user. How to solve this? Thanks!

  • VS2010 + IE8 Debugging woes - Element not found

    I am having great difficulty trying to debug with vs2010 and IE8, though I think the problem is more IE8 specific. When starting a debug session 9 times out of 10 I will have the following problem. IE tab says connecting.. - then after a 5 second wait I will get an error in VS saying element not found. Even when I click ok to dismiss the error, the IE window still shows connecting... I will then have to kill the IE process to be able to close IE to try again. Sometimes however I am lucky and it starts. But the whole thing is so random I have no clue where to start. One thing I have noticed is that I always have 2 IE processes started even though there is only one window open. One has a small footprint of 100k, I presume it is some kind of helper. I am using a static port with the built in WebDev server. If anyone has had similar problems please let me know how you resolved it. Its driving me nuts! thanks

    I'm trying to add new google-play-services_lib in my old project, due to which R.jave file is removed from the project. Also, as soon as i remove google-play-services_lib, i get my R.java file back. minimum sdk version is 11. I'm referring to following link: https://developer.android.com/google/play-services/setup.html I am following these steps to add library as a project == Right-click on My project - Properties In Android-Library section click Add select recently added project - Ok then aapt.exe has stopped working and R.jave file is removed from the project
