I don't understand the purpose of the WPF browser appliction. Is it simply another way of serving information through a browser, or is it not intended to be used for external deployment?
I have a problem with PhotobucketNet user login(I need user to login so I can upload a picture from HDD to his Photobucket account).
Photobucket photobucket = new Photobucket("myapikey", "myapisecret");
photobucket.LaunchUserLogin();
// the problem happens here
photobucket.RequestUserToken();
If I call RequestUserToken() it will happen immediately, so I'll get a crash cause user didn't logged in, and there is no event that's been raised after user logs in. Is there some variable(bool or something else) that I can check to see if user logged in - maybe to put it in a loop with timer?
Also is their a way to know if user canceled logging in?
I know that timer isn't a good solution, so if anyone has anything better as an idea, I'm open for any suggestions...
I can implement the error function, erf, myself, but I'd prefer not to. Is there a python package with no external dependencies that contains an implementation of this function? I have found http://pylab.sourceforge.net/packages/included_functions.htmlthis but this seems to be part of some much larger package (and it's not even clear which one!).
I'm sorry if this is a naive question - I'm totally new to Python.

I am trying to host some files/rails app in the port 8080 for external access. For python I am using the SimpleHTTPServer module, and for rails, webrick. However, both of them does not work very well. I don't get the response back, and, sometimes, if I get it, it's VERY slow. Nevertheless, apache works very well on the port 8080 (i am not running them at the same time). What is going on?
Say I'm collaborating with someone via a git repository, and there is a particular file that I never want to accept any external changes to.
Is there any way for me to set up my local repo to not complain about a conflicted merge every time I git pull? I'd like to always select my local version when merging this file.
How could I implement a system where updated content on a CMS can be automatically picked up and transferred in XML (possibly RSS?)
I am using Magnolia CMS but I guess this question could apply to any CMS.
Say I edit the title of a page, I want this to be picked up and the content put in an external XML file. How could I do this?
I'm currently researching the best way to approach building a javascript widget someone can embed on their site, which would retrieve and display information from an external MySQL database.
The gist of the widget would mimic the needs/functionality of Twitter's widget (http://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets), where it uses some combination of JS, PHP and/or AJAX and retrieves information from a MySQL DB with secure (or at least somewhat safe) cross-browser access. Thoughts or ideas on the best and most reliable way to approach something like this?
On 2 separate machines in completely different environments (work, home) I've been unable to compile libCURL out of the box. Running nmake -f Makefile.vc mode=dll VC=10, I get an unresolved external symbol errors for _IdnToAscii and _IdnToUnicode. I believe the definitions are in Normaliz.lib, which is referenced in LFLAGS, but it either isn't finding it or the version I have doesn't have those functions. But I don't see any option to download this file...anyone have a good solution short of commenting out the 2 lines that use these functions?
Hi,
I recently contacted a web host regarding support for external database access to a Microsoft SQL Server database included in a package they offer. They replied saying that it is only possible with an SSH-tunnel.
Is it possible to connect to a SQL Server database in Visual Studio using an SSH-tunnel? It is important for me to be able to access the database from my local machine (for debugging, generating LINQ classes, editing tables, etc).
Or, how should I go about working with their database?
Hello,
I want to start a process (calling another program), currently the external program takes time (it is normal)!
but it freezes my GUI
I saw allot of examples and I'm learning, it is hard to figure it out,
trying to read and learn threading, but it is not that easy (at least for me)
and good simple tutorial or code sample?

I am trying to download a list of files from a ftp server using:
NSURL *ftpUrl = [NSURL URLWithString:@"ftp://xxx:[email protected]"];
I HAVE to use FTP, so please do not recommend an alternative. I want to know how to get the list of files from the root directory and also navigate inside folders (of FTP server).
P.S: I do not think external library would be required to accomplish such an easy task, but if I must, any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank You :)
I have the following syntax in the .cmd file, where PathList is console application with .exe as extension.
cd D:\Sample
D:
PathList 2> file.txt
This syntax works fine if the file is saved with .bat as extension, but if save it with .cmd extension it throws error saying
'PathList' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Please can i know what is the issue with saving it with .cmd extension
I've to import a file from an external source to a postgresql table.
I tried to do it with \copy from , but I keep getting errors (additional columns) in the middle of the file.
Is there a way to tell postgresql to ignore lines containing errors during a "\copy from" ?
Thanks
In VS2005 I have multi-project solution.
Two of the projects use an external set of DLLs to create a report, using
report definition data taken from an SQL Server. One of the projects
creates the report just fine, but the other project results in an Exception.
I have checked that the projects are referencing the same versions of the
all the DLLs and they appear to be identical.
What could the cause of this problem?
I'm trying to create a program in C# that lists the content of a library in Windows Media Center (for instance the video library).
Is this possible using the Windows Media Center SDK, without having to create it as an addin for WMC, but as an "external" program, running on the same machine as WMC?
When I load a page with Firebug I can see a list of all the images required by the site.
How can I automate finding a list of the image URLs used by a webpage, including those referenced in external CSS?

Consider this CSS Property:
background: url(http://images.something.com/background.png) left top repeat-x;
Is there a way to dynamically specify the URL being used in the external file (Meaning the URL is sort of automatically generated rather than hard-coded in the CSS file) ?
Thanks.
I want to make my web.config password protected so that external users do not open it. But my application should be able to access. Is there any way to do this??
I know how to load in a .swf from an external file.
However, I don't know how to run one that's already in the library. Is it possible to have a .swf nested within a .swf? I want the final thing to be just one file.
Please help!
