  I got an example how to call oracle SP in iBATIS 3 without a map file. And now I understand how to call it. But I got another problem that how to get a result from output parameter(Oracle cursor). A part of exception messages is "There is no setter for property named 'rs' in 'class java.lang.Class". Below is my code. Does anyone can help me? • Axis/SOAP service styles and interoperability

  There are four "styles" of service in Axis. RPC services use the SOAP RPC conventions, and also the SOAP "section 5" encoding. Document services do not use any encoding (so in particular, you won't see multiref object serialization or SOAP-style arrays on the wire) but DO still do XML<-Java databinding. Wrapped services are just like document services, except that rather than binding the entire SOAP body into one big structure, they "unwrap" it into individual parameters. Message services receive and return arbitrary XML in the SOAP Envelope without any type mapping / data binding. If you want to work with the raw XML of the incoming and outgoing SOAP Envelopes, write a message service. So, if I use anything else except the first option(SOAP RPC Section 5), how does this impact interoperability? If someone says they want a SOAP service (including WSDL), does this mean that SOAP RPC conventions are expected? Can the other three styles still be used when the other end is not implemented with Axis?

  Hello guys I got this cbxJobPosition_SelectionChanged firing as expected. The problem is when a external method tries to set cbxJobPosition. cbxJobPosition is databinded with a list of objects of type JobPosition: JobPositionID: 1, JobPositionName: Manager JobPositionID: 2, JobPositionName: Employee JobPositionID: 3, JobPositionName: Third party Here's the XAML: <ComboBox Cursor="Hand" DataContext="{Binding}" ItemsSource="{Binding}" FontSize="13" Name="cbxJobPosition" SelectedValuePath="JobPositionID" DisplayMemberPath="JobPositionName" SelectedIndex="0" Width="233" Height="23" SelectionChanged="cbxJobPosition_SelectionChanged" /> On UserControl_Loaded method, it reads from database the list of jobs and try to set the specific job position "Third party": //calls cbxJobPosition_SelectionChanged and passes the correct SelectedValue within cbxJobPosition.SelectedIndex = 3; //calls cbxJobPosition_SelectionChanged and but won't pass the correct SelectedValue within cbxJobPosition.SelectedValue = "3"; As you can notice, when the processing is automatically redirected to cbxJobPosition_SelectionChanged, the SelectedValue attribute will have different values for each statement above when you're debugging within cbxJobPosition_SelectionChanged event. Does anyone know if this difference is expected, am I missing something or it could be a bug?

• Defining a ContextMenu in a DataGridRow style

  I'm trying to clean up some of my xaml in my views by moving a lot of the DataGrid styles into a ResourceDictionary. One of the things I'd like to move is the ContextMenu that is bound to some commands in the ViewModel. However, when I move the context menu to the ResourceDictionary, the commands are are never firing anymore, and I can't figure out why. I've defined the ContextMenu in the DataGridRow style so that when the user right clicks on the columnheader, no ContextMenu is shown... it will only be shown they right click on a row. Am I doing something wrong here? • WPF-Prism CanExecute method not being called

  I am coding a simple login UserControl with two TextBoxes (Username and Password) and a Login button. I want the Login button to be enabled only when the username and password fields are filled in. I am using Prism and MVVM. The LoginViewModel contains a property called LoginCommand that is bound to the Login button. I have a CanLoginExecute() method in my ViewModel but it fires only when the application comes up and then never again. So the Login button is never enabled. What am I missing? I am getting lost in the authentication options: In IIS 6 Manager, I can go in to the properties of the web site and set authentication options.   I seem to be having an issue with Jax-WS and Jax-b playing nicely together. I need to consume a web-service, which has a predefined WSDL. When executing the generated client I am receiving the following error: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: javax.xml.bind.MarshalException - with linked exception: [com.sun.istack.SAXException2: unable to marshal type "java.lang.String" as an element because it is missing an @XmlRootElement annotation] This started occurring when I used an external custom binding file to map needlessly complex types to java.lang.string. I was unable to successfully map between the objects without the custom binding. Finally, one other thing I tried was setting a globalBinding definition: <globalBindings generateValueClass="false"></globalBindings> This caused the server to through an argument mismatch exception since the Soap Message was using xs:string xml types instead of passing the defined complex types, so I abandoned that idea. Any insight into what is causing the MarshalException or how to go about solving the issue of calling the webservice and mapping these objects more easily, is greatly appreciated. I've been searching for days and I sadly think I am stumped.

  Hi, I am trying to add a WCF service reference to my web application using VS2010. It seems to add OK, but the web.config is not updated, meaning I get a runtime exception: Could not find default endpoint element that references contract 'CoolService.CoolService' in the ServiceModel client configuration section. This might be because no configuration file was found for your application, or because no endpoint element matching this contract could be found in the client element. Obviously, because the service is not defined in my web.config. Steps to reproduce: Right click solution Add New Project ASP.NET Empty Web Application. Right click Service References in the new web app Add Service Reference. Enter address of my service and click Go. My service is visible in the left-hand Services section, and I can see all its operations. Type a namespace for my service. Click OK. The service reference is generated correctly, and I can open the Reference.cs file, and it all looks OK. Open the web.config file. • Unable to sync custom authentication with RIA services in SL3 + RIA implementation

  I am developing SL3 + RIA services with custom authentication. I followed the example in http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/RiaServices/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=2661 to implement custom authentication. Based on the implementation, you first do login request from client to service. This request is async process. Noe the client GUI will start to bind data to SL controls using RIA services, which requires the authentication to be successful (by adding [RequireAuthentication] attribute). The trouble is, since you requested login from the main process, while it is doing authentication, the page control takes over and starts to bind data using RIA services. But the problem is authentication is not completed yet thus which ever the first service method data binding hits will fail with 'Access denied'. Bottom line is GUI is will not wait for authentication to be completed to start the data binding. My question is how do you handle this situation? Thanks,

My view model has an ObservableCollection<T> property to bind to this ListBox; I set up a binding in XAML from the property to the ListBox.SelectedItems property. When I compiled, I got an error saying that the SelectedItems property was read only and could not be set from XAML. Am I binding to the wrong control property?   I'm having a problem with FlashBuilder in what is clearly a compiler bug, but I can't track it down. When my project is compiled inside FlashBuilder, I'm getting the following compiler errors: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: [mx.binding]::IBindingClient Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: [mx.binding]::IWatcherSetup2 Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: [mx.core]::IStateClient2 These errors are reported without a path or location. My project is a flex4 project, moderately complex. It has 6 swc projects, which are referenced within a swf project. (The swf project is the one that's reporting the error). The ANT build script compiles the project fine. The problem exists on more than 1 PC. How do I start tracking down what's causing the problem?

  I'm using jQuery UI's draggable and droppable libraries in a simple ASP.NET proof of concept application. This page uses the ASP.NET AJAX UpdatePanel to do partial page updates. The page allows a user to drop an item into a trashcan div, which will invoke a postback that deletes a record from the database, then rebinds the list (and other controls) that the item was drug from. All of these elements (the draggable items and the trashcan div) are inside an ASP.NET UpdatePanel. When I then grab a draggable with my cursor, I get an "htmlfile: Unspecified error." exception. I can resolve this problem in the jQuery library by replacing elem.offsetParent with calls to this function that I wrote: function IESafeOffsetParent(elem) { try { return elem.offsetParent; } catch(e) { return document.body; } } I also have to avoid calls to elem.getBoundingClientRect() as it throws the same error. For those interested, I only had to make these changes in the jQuery.fn.offset function in the Dimensions Plugin. My questions are: Although this works, are there better ways (cleaner; better performance; without having to modify the jQuery library) to solve this problem? If not, what's the best way to manage keeping my changes in sync when I update the jQuery libraries in the future? For, example can I extend the library somewhere other than just inline in the files that I download from the jQuery website. • Delayed "rendering" of WPF/Silverlight Dependency Properties?

  Is there a way to know the first time a Dependency Property is accessed through XAML binding so I can actually "render" the value of the property when needed? I have an object (class derived from Control) that has several PointCollection Dependency Properties that may contain 100's or 1000's of points. Each property may arrange the points differently for use in different types shapes (Polyline, Polygon, etc - its more complicated then this, but you get the idea). Via a Template different XAML objects use TemplateBinding to access these properties. Since my object uses a Template I never know what XAML shapes may be in use for my object - so I never know what Properties they may or may not bind to. I'd like to only fill-in these PointCollections when they are actually needed. Normally in .NET I'd but some logic in the Property's getter, but these are bypassed by XAML data binding. I need a WPF AND Silverlight compatible solution. I'd love a solution that avoids any additional complexities for the users of my object.
