    Here's an example of the URLs that don't work: http://domain/do?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2Fin%2Fperson http://domain/do?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2F However, the following URL does work: http://domain/do?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com Also, this only happens with Nginx, using Passenger with Apache it works fine, but we use Nginx on our production machines.     To configure a data source to support Essbase fail-over in active-passive clustering mode, replace the Essbase Server name value with the APS URL followed by the Essbase cluster name; for example, if the APS URL is http://<hostname>:13090/aps and the Essbase cluster name is EssbaseCluster-1, then the value in the Essbase Server name field would be:http://<hostname>:13090/aps/Essbase?clusterName=EssbaseCluster-1Note: Entering the Essbase cluster name without the APS URL in the Essbase Server name field is not supported in this release.

  • What does "Local Domain Name" on router do and how do I get it to work?

    I have a D-Link DGL-4500 router. One of the settings is "Local Domain Name," which I have set to local (see screenshot). What I expect is for me to be able to hit my computers via name, e.g. m6.local should resolve to one of my computers; but this isn't happening. I know that I can do this via hosts file, but it would be neat if I could do it via the router... plus I have devices like an iPad that don't let you edit the hosts file. Am I misunderstanding this router feature or am I doing something wrong?

  • Juju Zookeeper & Provisioning Agent Not Deployed

    I am using juju with the openstack provider, i expected that when i bootstrap that zookeeper and provisioning agent would get deployed on the bootstrap vm in openstack. This dose not seem to be the case. the bootstrap vm gets deployed but it seems that nothing gets deployed to the VM. See logs below, I may be missing something, also how is it possible to log on the bootstrap vm. Could I manual deploy, if so what do I need to do.     Hello Everyone I have created the following script in my .htaccess file Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} domain.eu RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^domain RewriteRule ^(.*)$ domain/$1 [L] This script should redirect domain.eu to the domain folder. I have applied a Group Policy to clean temporary internet files on exit i.e to delete all temporary internet files when users close the browser. But the group policy doesn't seem to work as user profile size keeps on increasing and the major space is occupied by temporary internet files therefore increasing the disk usage. How can i enforce automatic deletion of temporary internet files?

Not event [email protected] but both had different domains such as : [email protected] and [email protected] Why is this? Any particular advantage in doing so? Other than not polluting the employees email software, I can't see.

  • Log into another XP machine's SQL Server with a different userid? (WORKGROUP, not domain)

    I have two machines at home, both XP Pro SP3. I have no domain controller, so they're both just in WORKGROUP. How can I, using Windows Authentication, log into an instance of SQL Server running on the other machine? Whenever I try it, it seems to try to login as 'Guest', even though I have entered the machine name (OTHER-DESKTOP), and login (OTHER-DESKTOP\otheruser) in the User Accounts Control Panel box. It works fine if I use sql server name and password, so I know the server is running. Any clues?

    If my application is responsible for redirecting/doing a single sign on to a destination managed by a third party, in general, where should I draw the line for error handling during this process? If an error happens on the other application's end, is it reasonable for my stakeholder to expect the application I am working with to share responsibility for handling these scenarios? Notes: I am going to keep solutions limited to those that entail only one request--I am familiar with the "do an xmlhttprequest and see how that fares before doing anything else" approach. I am speaking in terms of an enterprise-level application with fairly decent customer traffic.

    Motivation I have to manage a lot of virtual machines that I create by copying a template (VmWare image). Problem Now I have the problem that in the template the file /etc/hostname contains a given name that I want to change for each copy of the template. Facts The network interface is configured by DHCP. DNS entries exist. The system is a Ubuntu 9.10 server. Question I wonder if I can configure the template so that on startup it sets its hostname according to its DNS name. I could create an init script that parses the IP address, makes a DNS lookup and sets the hostname accordingly. But is there an easier way?

    I don't know if I'll make the issue clear, but I've installed MySQL on CentOS 6.3 using root account on a specific domain (f.ex. root@mydomain), but when i try to log on to it I'm being asked for password to root@localhost account, which I do not have access to. How can I log on to MySQL installed on 'mydomain' and not to 'localhost'? I've tried editing my.cnf using bind-address='domain_ip', but it didn't help, it still wanted localhost password.

    I am in the process of setting up a new server for my domain (the site will be moved, it is not for load balancing or the like), which has a different IP address from my existing server. My current server has a reverse DNS PTR record set up pointing its IP to mydomain.com. Is it bad to set up a reverse DNS PTR record for the new IP pointing to mydomain.com as well? Or should I wait until I do my migration to set up the record?

  • How does bing-bot( is that the right spider-name? ) and googlebot interpret 301 redirect?

    I've been looking for documentation on how the Microsoft and Google bots interpret 301 redirects. It seems that google-bot stores documents on a url based index system. But I haven't been able to figure out how bing works. Should I assume that they are still working towards coping everyone else and assume they use an algorithm close to google? Is it best to just forward a page to a new location via Javascript? I think this might be a blackhat trick, but how would I tell the bots that it's not? Is 301 redirect my best option and I just have to bit the bullet because said pages are no longer in existence? What other options do I have that I might not be aware of?

  • Scala factory pattern returns unusable abstract type

The problem is that the Scala compiler doesn't understand that my factory is returning a concrete class, so my object can't be used later. Can TypeTags or type parameters help? Or do I need to refactor the code some other way?   • How does the Keyword Order in the domain name effects SEO?

    From the Google keyword research tool, I see "chuck norris jokes" has global 246,000 searches. And again searching "jokes chuck norris" has the same search result. But as see, order of keyword in search terms has, "hello how are you" and "how are you hello" has clearly different results. Now instead of search term (assuming "chuck norris jokes"), I was wondering, if I had to register chucknorrisjokes.com and jokeschucknorris.com, would it effect the ranking on the search result? Or would it be the same? As we see here, both the domains has the same keywords, just in different order. How would that effect? I hope what I am trying to say is clear.
