    Trying to finish up some homework and ran into a issue for creating tables. How do you declare a column default for a range of numbers. Its reads: "Column Building (default to 1 but can be 1-10)" I can't seem to find ...or know where to look for this information. CREATE TABLE tblDepartment ( Department_ID int NOT NULL IDENTITY, Department_Name varchar(255) NOT NULL, Division_Name varchar(255) NOT NULL, City varchar(255) default 'spokane' NOT NULL, Building int default 1 NOT NULL, Phone varchar(255) ) I tried Building int default 1 Between 1 AND 10 NOT NULL, that didn't work out I tried Building int default 1-10, the table was created but I don't think its correct.

  • MySQL 5.1.41 leading zero is deleted

    Hello, I have a MySQL database where i want to store phonenumbers among other things. The fieldtype is INT(10) When I try to insert a number starting with a 0, like 0504042858 it's stored like 504042858. This only happens with zeros when the number start with any other number it's stored correctly. What am I doing wrong?

    I've used emacs for decades and always wondered, but kept on coding, if there was a way to type in something, them move the cursor and insert the same text, like the VI . command. Instead what I do is to type the text, set the mark, backup, copy the region, go to the next spot (often just C-n, down one line) and then pre-arg yank, C-u C-y. It's the overhead of set mark, backup and copy region that makes me just go ahead and retype the thing.

  • Why might my Xcode be crashing (or at least displaying an error on launch)?

    I am getting an error thrown when I launch my Xcode 3.2 all of a sudden: Uncaught Exception: * -[NSCFArray initWithObjects:count:]: attempt to insert nil object at objects[0] I can click through the error and Xcode seems to launch properly. I removed and reinstalled Xcode to no avail, and yet cannot find a config or perference that might be the culprit. I am running on 10.6.3 fwiw.... Has anyone else run into this problkem? TIA! I have also tried to use gql = "select * from QuantityType where __key__=='" + KeyFactory.stringToKey(qTypeKey)+"'"; but it's now working.. How can I get a specific object from my datastore by it's key?

    I have an ASP.NET application which runs under the Classic .NET AppPool in IIS. I have a report to render from my website. The problem is SQL Server keeps telling me that it failed to create a connection to the datasource, because login failed for user IUSR. After adding that user directly to the databse I could get the report to work, but I'm concerned about security. By doing that, am I opening my specified databases to all websites hosted on IIS? Or is that account identity-specific?

I've searched Google and grepped the CXF source code, but don't see anything in the docs or code that reference this. Any idea how to make the client send "SoapCompressed: off" instead, without routing it through Apache HTTPD or the like? Is there a way to configure it at the CXF client, in other words?
