I think that if wrap the find return strings with single/double quotation marks (\'or\") to feed to mplayer, the problem will be solved. But how can I do to solve the problem just use bash command, do not use bash or perl scripts, while can give me one perl line command use Perl Command-Line Options.

• Permission problem - users can't access main index.php anymore

  From /var/www, I executed "chmod -R 774 ." and now none of my .php scripts are accessible. From my browser, when I type in mydomain.com or mydomain.com/test2.php or mydomain.com/test.php, I get the 403 Forbidden error msg. So, I changed the permissions of 3 of the .php scripts to 775, but this didn't help either.   Hi again. I am using the next instructions to get some registers from my Database. Create the needed models (from the params module): $obj_paramtype_model = new Params_Model_DbTable_Paramtype(); $obj_param_model = new Params_Model_DbTable_Param(); Getting the available locales from the database // This returns a Zend_Db_Table_Row_Abstract class object $obj_paramtype = $obj_paramtype_model->getParamtypeByValue('available_locales'); // This is a query used to add conditions to the next sentence. This is executed from the Params_Model_DbTable_Param instance class, that depends from Params_Model_DbTable_Paramtype class (reference map and dependentTables arrays are fine in both classes) $obj_select = $this->select()->where('deleted_at IS NULL')->order('name'); // Execute the next query, applying the select restrictions. This returns a Zend_Db_Table_Rowset_Abstract class object. This means "Find Params by Paramtype" $obj_params_rowset = $obj_paramtype->findDependentRowset('Params_Model_DbTable_Param', 'Paramtype', $obj_paramtype); // Here the firebug log displays the queries.... Zend_Registry::get('log')->debug($obj_params_rowset); I have a profiler for all my DB executions from Zend. At this point the log and profiler objects (that includes Firebug writers), shows the executed SQL Queries, and the last line displays the resulting Zend_Db_Table_Rowset_Abstract class object. If I execute the SQL Queries in some MySQL Client, the results are as expected. But the Zend Firebug log writer displays as NULL the column values with latin characters (ñ). In other words, the external SQL client shows es_CO | Español de Colombia and en_US | English of United States but the Query results from Zend displays (and returns) es_CO | null and en_US | English of United States. I've deleted the ñ character from Español de Colombia and the query results are just fine in my Zend Log Firebug screen, and in the final Zend Form element. The MySQL database, tables and columns are in UTF-8 - utf8_unicode_ci collation. All my zend framework pages are in UTF-8 charset. I'm using XAMPP 1.7.1 (PHP 5.2.9, Apache at port 90 and MySQL 5.1.33-community) running on Windows 7 Ultimate; Zend Framework 1.10.1. I'm sorry if there is so much information, but I don't really know why could that happen, so I tryed to provide as much related information as I could to help to find some answer.

  I realize some similar questions have been asked along these lines before, but from reading-through them today, it appears they don't match my use case. I am looking for a web-based, non-hosted time and project tracking tool. I've downloaded Collabtive so far, but am looking for other suggestions, too. My list of requirements: runs on standard LAMP stack non-hosted (ie, there is an option to download and run it on a local server) not a desktop/single-user application easy-to-use - my audience is a mix of technical and non-technical folks easy to maintain - when time for upgrading comes, I'd really like to not have to rebuild the app (a la ./configure ; make ; make install) needs to support multiple users free-form project additions: we don't have a central project management authority (users should be able to add whatever they're working on, not merely from a drop-down) Does anyone here have experience with such tools? It doesn't have to be free.. but free is always nice :)

• Can't install Parallels Tools on Debian 7.2.0

  (Parallels Desktop 9, latest version) As per instructions, I switch to root: $ su - root $ whoami root $ echo $EUID 0 and then execute the installer: $ cd /media/cdrom0 $ ./install and I get this error: sudo: unable to execute ./install: Permission denied What? I'm root! What's with this? I double check to make sure the execute bit is set: $ ls -lA | grep install$ -r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 17284 Oct 25 09:22 install Yep. People online are saying that you need to drag the install script to the terminal after typing sudo. So I do that, and this command is what's formed: $ sudo '/media/cdrom0/install' sudo: unable to execute /media/cdrom0/install: Permission denied What's the solution here?

• How to I serialize a large graph of .NET object into a SQL Server BLOB without creating a large bu

  We have code like: ms = New IO.MemoryStream bin = New System.Runtime.Serialization.Formatters.Binary.BinaryFormatter bin.Serialize(ms, largeGraphOfObjects) dataToSaveToDatabase = ms.ToArray() // put dataToSaveToDatabase in a Sql server BLOB But the memory steam allocates a large buffer from the large memory heap that is giving us problems. So how can we stream the data without needing enough free memory to hold the serialized objects. I am looking for a way to get a Stream from SQL server that can then be passed to bin.Serialize() so avoiding keeping all the data in my processes memory. Likewise for reading the data back... Some more background. This is part of a complex numerical processing system that processes data in near real time looking for equipment problems etc, the serialization is done to allow a restart when there is a problem with data quality from a data feed etc. (We store the data feeds and can rerun them after the operator has edited out bad values.) Therefore we serialize the object a lot more often then we de-serialize them. The objects we are serializing include very large arrays mostly of doubles as well as a lot of small “more normal” objects. We are pushing the memory limit on a 32 bit system and make the garage collector work very hard. (Effects are being made elsewhere in the system to improve this, e.g. reusing large arrays rather then create new arrays.) Often the serialization of the state is the last straw that courses an out of memory exception; our peak memory usage is while this serialization is being done. I think we get large memory pool fragmentation when we de-serialize the object, I expect there are also other problem with large memory pool fragmentation given the size of the arrays. (This has not yet been investigated, as the person that first looked at this is a numerical processing expert, not a memory management expert.) Are customers use a mix of Sql Server 2000, 2005 and 2008 and we would rather not have different code paths for each version of Sql Server if possible. We can have many active models at a time (in different process, across many machines), each model can have many saved states. Hence the saved state is stored in a database blob rather then a file. As the spread of saving the state is important, I would rather not serialize the object to a file, and then put the file in a BLOB one block at a time.   I have to generate an excel file and a PDF file from an asp.net application. I'm using the Interop assemblies and I can generate the excel file without any problem. • Apache - building extensions with apxs

  Hello, Pardon the newbie question - I haven't worked with manually compiling Apache modules (or anything) before. I am trying to get the mod_concat module going. It seems simple enough - just requires downloading the mod_concat.c file and then running: axps -c mod_concat.c This is new to me. Does it matter which directory I put mod_concat.c before running this command? I ran it from my home directory, and I see some new files - mod_concat.la, mod_concat.lo, mod_concat.o, and mod_concat.slo - along with a new subfolder called .libs/ that contains mod_concat.so along with some other files. I'm not sure where to go from here, I have a feeling these files were created in the wrong place. Don't I need mod_concat.so to be in my apache modules directory with the rest?   The problem is when de selectedSegmentIndex is unselected: "UISegmentedControlNoSegment" alias "-1". The other states (0, 1, 2 , etc.), I can store as Integers and retrieve with carTypeSegmentedControl.selectedSegmentIndex = [defaults integerForKey:@"typeOfCar"]; But -1 is no NSInteger. I also tried to remove the Integer out of the NSUserdefaults but a request would return an "0", which is not acceptable. So, is there another easy way? tnx for reading

• A decent S3 bucket manager for Ubuntu

  I'm looking for a decent S3 bucket manager for Ubuntu (Gnome). I prefer it to integrate with Nautilus so it will look like just any other drive (a la WebDAV) but so far I haven't been able to find anything that I'd like to use on a daily basis. What bucket managers do you use for Ubuntu or what bucket manager would you recommend? UPDATE: S3FS seems to be what I'd really want to use since it lets me integrate my buckets directly into my file-system. However, when trying S3FS I do not get the impression that it's ready for prime time. I'm stunned by the fact that there are no decent bucket managers out there for Ubuntu/Gnome, guess I have to build it myself...
