  I'm trying to write up a script where the user is able to purchase an amount of points for dollars. I want the transaction to be inserted into MySQL. I keep facing a: "Column count doesn't match value count at row 1" error. And I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I have written up this: mysql_query("INSERT INTO paypal_donations VALUES (NULL, ".$account_id.", ".$char_id.", ".$price.", ".$dp.", NOW(), NOW(), 'Started', 0, 0, '', '');") or die(mysql_error()); But I don't know what to execute in MySQL, since I've never worked with it before. I want to call some property of object like "obj.MyProp". And MyProp must be resolved at runtime with some generic or non-generic method. Is it possible?

• 1-DimArray Counting same elements (0,1)

  Hello, I have a 1-dim array that fills up a table of 40 random elements (all the values are either 0 or 1). So i wanne "count" the largest row of the values net to each otherto each other.. Meaning for example : 111100101 = the longest row would be 1111 (= 4 elements of the same kind closest to each other). So 011100 would result in the longest row being 3 elements (3 x 1). My problem i have no idea how to check upon the "next element" and check if its a 0 or 1. Like the first would be 1111 (count 4) but the next would be a 0 value = meaning i have to stop counting. My idea was placing this value (4) in a other array (example: 111100101) , and place the value of the 1's back on zero. And start the process all over again. To find the largest value i have made a other method that checks up the biggest value in the array that keeps track of the count of 0's 1's, this is not the problem. But i cannot find a way to fill the array tabelLdr up. (having all the values of the group of elements of the same kind (being 0 or 1).   I have this query which displays some properties and count the number of references to it from an other table: SELECT p.id,p.propName ( SELECT COUNT(*) FROM propLoc WHERE propLoc.propID = p.id ) AS number FROM property as p WHERE p.category != 'natural' This generates a good table with all the information I want to filter: id | propName | number 3 | Name 1 | 3 4 | Name 2 | 1 5 | Name 3 | 0 6 | Name 4 | 10 etc etc I now want to filter out the properties with number <= 0 So I tried to add an AND number > 0 But it reacts with Unknown column 'number' in 'where clause' apparently you can't filter on a name specified by a subquery? How can I achieve my goal?

  I have a C# method say: MyMethod(int num, string name, Color color, MyComplexType complex) Using reflection, how can I distinctly identify each of the parameter types of any method? I want to perform some task by parameter type. If the type is simple int, string or boolean then I do something, if it is Color, XMLDocument, etc I do something else and if it is user defined type like MyComplexType or MyCalci etc then I want to do certain task. I am able to retrieve all the parameters of a method using ParameterInfo and can loop through each parameter and get their types. But how can I identify each data type? foreach (var parameter in parameters) { //identify primitive types?? //identify value types //identify reference types } Edit: this is apart of my code to create a propert grid sort of page where I want to show the parameter list with data types for the selected method. If the parameter has any userdefined type/reference type then I want to expand it further to show all the elements under it with datatypes.

  I have a table: id, affiliate Each time somebody clicks a link, a new row is inserted, ID being the ID of the page, and affiliate being the ID of the affiliate. For example: Page ID: 9 Affiliate ID: 1 Page ID: 9 Affiliate ID: 2 Page ID: 9 Affiliate ID: 3 I only have 3 affiliates. I want to select this information, and group them by affiliate, for the ID. I have tried this query: SELECT COUNT(*) FROM table WHERE id = '9' GROUP BY affiliate It works fine when I do it in php my admin, how do I get the info in PHP? I have tried: $q = mysql_query("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM table WHERE id = '" . $id . "' GROUP BY affiliate"); $r = mysql_fetch_array($q); When trying to print the data onto the page, I am only getting one result. Do I need to use a foreach/while loop to get all 3? How would I go about doing this? Thank you!

  I am following this article on creating persistent login cookies with my ASP.NET site: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.security.formsauthentication.encrypt.aspx The issue is that when I navigate to the page, I get the following compiler error: Compiler Error Message: CS1061: 'ASP.administration_login_aspx' does not contain a definition for 'Login_Click' and no extension method 'Login_Click' accepting a first argument of type 'ASP.administration_login_aspx' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Can anyone tell me why this is. The error message doesn't really say much and I don't believe I am missing a directive or assembly reference. The code builds without any problems. EDIT: I did not include code because I said I was following that link which includes code. I copy/pasted from the example.

• MySQL: Return grouped fields where the group is not empty, efficiently

  In one statement I'm trying to group rows of one table by joining to another table. I want to only get grouped rows where their grouped result is not empty. Ex. Items and Categories SELECT Category.id FROM Item, Category WHERE Category.id = Item.categoryId GROUP BY Category.id HAVING COUNT(Item.id) > 0 The above query gives me the results that I want but this is slow, since it has to count all the rows grouped by Category.id. What's a more effecient way? I was trying to do a Group By LIMIT to only retrieve one row per group. But my attempts failed horribly. Any idea how I can do this? Thanks

  I have a table called Categorie with a few columns and I'm trying to get only a few out of my database. So I've tried this: $sql = 'SELECT uppercat AS id, COUNT(uppercat) AS uppercat FROM categorie GROUP BY uppercat;'; $d = Yii::app()->db->createCommand($sql)->query(); But I find the output strange. I was trying to do an array_shift but I get an error that this isn't an array. I guess I'd have to add it to my model but I wouldn't like that because I need it just once.

  In a DrScheme project, I'm using a MrEd editor-canvas% with text% and inserting a string from a literal in a Scheme file. This results in an extra blank line in the editor for each line of text I'm trying to insert. Is this a Windows vs. Unix linebreak problem?   I'm currently in the process of upgrading old II6 automation scripts that use the iisvdir tool to create/modify/update apps and virtual directories. The IIS6 "iisvdir" commands reference paths in IIS6 that are from the metabase, eg, "/W3SVC/1/ROOT/MyApp" - where 1 is the "Default" website. The command doesn't actually require the display name of the site to make changes to it. With an English OS, the "Default Web Site" site name is fine for usage in AppCmd, but if the OS is Japanese, it will be named: "??? Web ???" So how can I script AppCmd to refer to sites, vdirs and apps using language neutral identifiers to reference the "Default App Site"? (Disclosure: I only have a IIS7-English machine that I am working on currently, but I have both IIS6-English and IIS6-Japanese machines for testing my old scripts - so perhaps it really is just "Default Web Site" still on Win2k8-Japanese?)
