  I'm in the process of converting a couple of sites up to .net 4.0 and I seem to have a problem with regionalisaion of dates. This code: Date.Today.AddDays((Date.Today.DayOfWeek - 1) * -1).ToString() In .net 3.5 produces: '19/04/2010 00:00:00' but as soon as I change the app pool to 4.0 it produces: '4/19/2010 12:00:00 AM' Where can I change the setting that governs this?

  Hi, This question would be a bit childish, I have three tables, users, usergroups and contacts. In my system, the end user can create a contact and subsequently he\she may define the visibility of the contact by setting only for that user, or for a set of users or a set of usergroups. So I am wondering, how my database design would be, it should be many to many between users and contacts or many to many between usergroups and contacts.   we have several pages as tabs where datatable is used in most of the pages.when we sort on a particular coulmn and exit the page and re enter this page the arrow appears(up /down based on how we left) Although the data is not sorted in the direction the arrow shows.i have set preserveSort and preserveDataMode to false. The arrow is set to true in the column's t:commandSortHeader tag in all the pages. is this a bug or am i missing any setting?I have tried to set forceId to false in t:commandSortHeader but of now use.

  Hello, I'm writing a Java ME app and i need the label for the text field to be right aligned.. I've tried setting the layout of the TextField to Item.RIGHT but it doesn't seem to affect anything when running on my test phone (Nokia E71). The text inside the TextField is right aligned and Lists and such items are desplayed correctly (RTL aligned) but the TextField label isn't. Any ideas? Thanks.

I could set the attributes of the class at the end of the script once all the elements have been created, but is that the best way to go about it? If I define the style of the class with $('.class').css('property','value'); at the beginning of the script, nothing would happen because the elements with class .class haven't been created yet, right?

• SVN: Prevent a newer client from upgrading a working copy's SVN version?

  Is it possible to prevent a newer SVN client (say 1.6) from automatically upgrading a working copy that was checked out with an older client (say 1.4 or 1.5)? I find that as soon as I touch a working copy with a newer client, anyone using an older client to work with the same files can no longer do so (for obvious reasons). Assuming requiring everyone to upgrade their SVN clients isn't an option, is there a configuration setting or flag I can set to prevent my newer client from making this change?
