    Hi I'm looking for a solution similar to the iPhone Facebook Connect (http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Facebook%5FConnect%5Ffor%5FiPhone) for the BlackBerry platform. Basically, I need my users to authenticate against Facebook from within a native BlackBerry application (so, not a Web based mobile application). Is there a library I could use, and if not, what will be the correct approach to achieve this? Thanks in advance!

    Hi! Users authenticate normally on my iPhone app, and the permission for publish_stream is requested correctly. When the user want to post something on his wall, the text is transmitted to my backend and the backend posts it (with the transmitted session key) to the users facebook wall. The first post is always possible but at the second, the response is: "The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action" But I was already able to post some seconds ago.     If I wanna authenticate windows accounts to AD when a user browses to an apache-running site on a Linux server, here are the usual suspects:   * mod_ntlm (which I used in a distant past) - last update on 2003 * mod_auth_ntlm_winbind - last update on 04/2007 * mod_auth_kerb - last update on 12/2008 No luck getting any of those to work with a recent, fully patched, windows 2000 AD server.   • Web reference problem on WCF

    I have a WCF service which I am able to connect to from my web application and get data. I now added a web reference to this wcf project to a wsdl file that a shipping company provides. Intention is to get shipping quotes.. I am able to access the objects that are generated from this wsdl file but when I call service.Authenticate("DEMO"); method almost nothing happens. I debug and see the debugger continue to the next lines but there is no change on service parameters and service.isauthorized is null..     I have an application built with GWT/Appengine/Jdo...and i am using Google User Service for authentication. Google Chrome Extensions can use OAuth...I don't really undestand OAuth yet.. Would GWT RPC have to be reworked to enable OAuth? Is there another way to authenticate users for Chrome Extensions?

How do I embed the login form within a page while still using Apache for authentication? That is, I'd like a page that says "Please login" and provides a form asking for username and password, and passes this information on to Apache for authentication. (I'd do this over an SSL connection, of course.)
