  • Creating CCD document from scratch (JAVA)

    - by Nikhil Patil
Hi, I'm trying to build a CCD document. My application has some raw data which has to be converted into a CCD document. And I've no idea where I should start from!! From this thread I learned that MDHT and Braid can be used to create a CCD document. But thats all I could grasp. I thought that I need a CCD XSD, a java library which will transform my raw data into a CCD document using this XSD ( or may be the library itself takes care of it ). But I'm stuck at both. I suppose the CCD XSD has to be purchased. If I get hold of the XSD, how should I proceed ahead? I got really confused reading the Braid and MDHT sites. Sorry, I'm a complete nOOb in this domain. Can anyone guide me?

  • Multiple XADES signature / get original document

    - by zuper
I want to ask if exsist a way in xades4j to made multiple signature. For multiple signature i mean not countersignature, but a double independent sign to the same document, the resulting signature will have 2 or more signature object. In pratice a signer can take a xml signed document as input and resign it. In other way i need a method to take as input a xml signed file and get as output the original xml document. Thanks, Michele

  • JS Chrome top.document

    - by stevewk10
What is Chrome's equivalent of 'top.document', valid in both FF and IE8. In Chrome, 'top' is valid, top.length returns 2 (frames)...as it should. But top.document returns 'undefined'. Needed to get an element. top.document.getElementById(id) works perfectly in both FF and IE8. Thanks in advance, swk

  • using document() function in .NET XSLT generates error

    - by Simon
I'd like to use embedded resources in my XSLT file, but while invoking 'document(...)' C# complains that "Error during loading document ..." I'd like to use defined resources in XSLT file and get them by this: "document('')//my:resources/"... How can i do that?? ex xsl: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:my="xslt-gruper-v1.2.xsl" exclude-result-prefixes="my"> <my:resources> <one>tryb</one> </my:resources> <xsl:variable name="res" select="document('')/*/my:resources/("/> </xsl:stylesheet> How can i get access to such structure without exceptions in C#? I'll add that during static transform via ex. Opera everything works fine.

  • Intercepting hyperlinks in an embedded Word document

    - by Ryan
Hello, I'm working on an app which uses embedded Word documents. We have a feature which allows them to insert a small clickable image into the doc - when the user clicks on it, we want the app to open another window based on some data specified by the user when the image was added. What the application does now is: When the image is inserted, the app creates a hyperlink for it and the data is used as the link destination The user ctrl+clicks on the image and the Word document the WindowSelectionChange event The app handles the WindowSelectionChange event and goes to open the specified window This approach worked fine with previous versions, when we had the 11.0 / Word 2003 interop dll's. We upgraded to 12.0/Word 2007 for the upcoming release, and in many cases the event is not firing when I click on the image - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, and I'm descending into the cargo-cult world trying to figure out why - sometimes saving and re-opening the document works, sometimes killing the Word process and starting a new one fixes (or breaks) the feature. My guess is there's something going wrong with the WinSelChg event, but I'm not sure what. The usual process we have for applying the event handler is: try //remove the old one if any { ((Document)myAXFramerControl.ActiveDocument).Application.WindowSelectionChange -= new ApplicationEvents4_WindowSelectionChangeEventHandler(WSC_eventhandlerfunction); } catch{} ((Document)myAXFramerControl.ActiveDocument).Application.WindowSelectionChange += new ApplicationEvents4_WindowSelectionChangeEventHandler(WSC_eventhandlerfunction); Sometimes one or both of these will throw exceptions - usually a NullReferenceException when removing the handler. Adding the handler sometimes throws the "com object that has been separated from its underlying rcw cannot be used" exception, which I don't understand at all - my impression was that this only occurs when you, say, store a reference to the Word application or document and try to use it later. As it stands the WSC event handler is frequently never run; while I'm happy to fiddle with the app until it works once I can't really expect the same of the users who have been happily using this feature for a while now. Any ideas?

  • Did IE8 lose the document.frames collection?

    - by Nick
Hey all.. I noticed that an application I am maintaining was giving me a javascript error in IE8 and FF. The script was trying to get a collection of frame elements: document.frames This always returned 'undefined'. I placed a watch on the document object and noticed that this collection does not seem to be a member of the document object in IE8. I think this was always the case in FF but this same code works in older versions of IE. Has this been removed? -Nick

  • Multiuser XML document "database" for asp.net app

    - by Pierreten
I was thinking about a way to allow multiple users to get CRUD access to an XML document in an asp.net app. The operations would obviously have to be made under the assumption of a multithreaded environment. For perf reasons, would it make sense to cache the document, and use a mutex on that cached version? When would changes be flushed to the physical XML document? Any and all recommendations are appreciated (also "use a database" isn't an option at this point unfortunately)

  • Help on writing your own javax.swing.text.Document

    - by DJClayworth
I'm writing a Java TextComponent where the underlying document has some structure. It is very short, basically one line. I need to be able to override the response to inserting or deleting characters in some parts of the document. My initial approach was to implement javax.swing.text.Document, but this seems to involve developing many associated classes (Element, EditorKit, View) and there don't seem to be many examples or tutorials on how to do this. There are plenty on using the pre-defined implementations. Can anyone point me at tutorials or other aids for simple implementations of Document and what other classes I need to create to make this work.

  • Accessing XML file using JavaScript And ASP.net |VB code

    - by Bubba
Am trying to read in data from an xml file but using javascript which is embedded into my asp.net|vb code. I am new to asp.net but coming from a programming background. so I declared the xml objects for the appropriate browsers, as well as the name of the local xml to read data from, I then start by appending the create the table tag and then append it to the div tag in hack5.aspx I declare the variable that will represent/ hold the xml returned data object. I then run a for loop , before creating a row tag and then appending it to the div tag in hack5.aspx I then create the a row tag and then appending it to the div tag in hack5.aspx | then create a TextNode which is passed to variable, then create a td and append to div . then lastly append the textnode to td this format is the same for creating another 13 td tags that are to hold the data. The main problem is when I run the script - I see nothing display on my screen . no errors are shown, but with your sample code runs smoothly. So the first file hack5.aspx is as follows: <%@ Page Language="VB" AutoEventWireup="false" CodeFile="hack5.aspx.vb" Inherits="_Default" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > <head runat="server"> <title>Diplaying MessageBox from ASP.NET</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <div id="showtime" > </div> </form> </body> </html> The next file hack5.aspx.vb is as follows: Partial Class _Default Inherits System.Web.UI.Page Protected Sub Page_Load(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Me.Load Dim scriptString as String = "<script language=JavaScript> if (window.XMLHttpRequest) " scriptString += " { " scriptString += " xhttp=new XMLHttpRequest(); • WPF Open Word Document without open dialog

    - by Mitch
I have the path to a Word document saved in an SQL Database. I am able to retrieve the path but I cannot work out the best approach to open the Word document from WPF without using the OpenFileDialog. I've given up any thoughts of embedding Word in WPF as it has too many gotchas. I just want to be able to click a button or hyperlink and using the retrieved document path, open Word.

  • How to properly document programming languages?

    - by roydukkey
Where can I find information on how to properly document a programming language? What I mean is that there seems to be a standard way to document code. php.net and api.jquery.com seem to document there code the a similar way. For example, the trim() description on php.net. string trim ( string $str [, string $charlist ] ) And likewise on jquery.com .animate( properties, [ duration ], [ easing ], [ callback ] ) Does anyone even know what this syntax is called?

  • document.onclick settimeout function javascript help

    - by Jamex
Hi, I have a document.onclick function that I would like to have a delay. I can't seem to get the syntax right. my original code is <script type="text/javascript"> document.onclick=check; function check(e){do something} I tried the below, but that code is incorrect, the function did not execute and nothing happened. <script type="text/javascript"> document.onclick=setTimeout("check", 1000); function check(e){do something} I tried the next set, the function got executed, but no delay. <script type="text/javascript"> setTimeout(document.onclick=check, 1000); function check(e){do something} what is the correct syntax for this code. TIA Edit: The solutions were all good, my problem was that I use the function check to obtain the id of the element being clicked on. But after the delay, there is no "memory" of what was being clicked on, so the rest of the function does not get executed. Jimr wrote the short code to preserve clicked event. The code that is working is // Delay execution of event handler function "f" by "time" ms. document.onclick = makeDelayedHandler(check, 250); function makeDelayedHandler( f, time) { return function( e ) {setTimeout(function() {f( e );}, time ); }; } function check(e){ var click = (e && e.target) || (event && event.srcElement); . . . Thank you all.

  • Change page layout in the middle of a LaTeX document

    - by David
I'm looking for a way to change some page layout dimensions in the middle of a LaTeX document. The reason is, I'd like to have smaller margins and longer lines in the "References" section of my report document (basically because short lines aren't so important there and I can save space). In my preamble I have (works fine): \setlength\textwidth{130mm} \setlength\oddsidemargin{14.6mm} In the document I simply try to re-set them at the right point but they're ignored. ... last paragraph ends here. \newpage \setlength\textwidth{150mm} % +20mm text width \setlength\oddsidemargin{13.6mm} % -10mm left margin (so it stays centered) References ... The geometry package is useful but only for global adjustments in the preamble, so I can't use it here. Is it not possible to change the page layout at some point in the document?

  • Replace Components.classesByID with document.implementation.createDocument

    - by Earl Smith
    I am not the author of this code, but it is no longer maintained. So I am trying to fix it, but I have very little experience in javascript. Since Firefox 9, Components.classesByID["{3a9cd622-264d-11d4-ba06-0060b0fc76dd}"]. has been obsolete. Instead, it is suggested that document.implementation.createDocument be used. Can someone here show me how to implement these changes? I seem to be, just banging my head with everything I have tried. The example given at Mozilla developer network is: var doc = document.implementation.createDocument ("http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml", "html", null); var body = document.createElementNS("http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml", "body"); body.setAttribute("id", "abc"); doc.documentElement.appendChild(body); alert(doc.getElementById("abc")); // [object HTMLBodyElement] and the code in the .jsm I am trying to fix is: this.fgImageData = {}; this.fgImageData["check"] = [ " *", " **", "* ***", "** *** ", "***** ", " *** ", " * "]; this.fgImageData["radio"] = [ " **** ", "******", "******", "******", "******", " **** "]; this.fgImageData["menu-ltr"] = [ "* ", "** ", "*** ", "****", "*** ", "** ", "* "]; this.fgImageData["menu-rtl"] = [ " *", " **", " ***", "****", " ***", " **", " *"]; // I think I'm doing something slightly wrong when creating the document // but I'm not sure. It works though. *FIX* var domi = Components.classesByID["{3a9cd622-264d-11d4-ba06-0060b0fc76dd}"]. createInstance(Components.interfaces.nsIDOMDOMImplementation); this.document = domi.createDocument("http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml", "html", null); this.canvas = this.document.createElementNS("http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml", "html:canvas"); for(var name in this.fgImageData) { if (this.fgImageData.hasOwnProperty(name)) { var data = this.fgImageData[name]; var width = data[0].length; var height = data.length; this.canvas.width = width; this.canvas.height = height; var g = this.canvas.getContext("2d"); g.clearRect(0, 0, width, height); var idata = g.getImageData(0, 0, width, height); for(var y=0, oy=0; y<height; y++, oy+=idata.width*4) for(var x=0, ox=oy; x<width; x++, ox+=4) idata.data[ox+3] = data[y][x] == " " ? 0 : 255; this.fgImageData[name] = idata; } } },
