  • ssrs column groups disable multiple columns

    - by DKS
I'm using ASP.NET 4.0 Visual Studio 2010 RC version Sql Server Report Services (SSRS) ReportViewer and are aware that columns only display on PDF export - not the preview. I want to use a matrix embedded in a table on a page that has multiple columns. I've done some testing and frustratingly found that if you have a tablix with at least one grouped column (even if there is only one displayed matrix-like column group) the columns seem to be disabled. Once I remove the tablix with a grouped column from the tablix from the report the report does multiple-columns. Does anyone know a way around this?

  • Grails Unique Constraint for Groups

    - by WaZ
Hi there, I have the following requirement I have 3 domains namely: class Product { String productName static constraints = { productName(unique:true, blank:false) } class SubType { String subTypeName static constraints = { subTypeName(unique:true, blank:false) } String toString() { "${subTypeName}" } } class CLType { String TypeName static belongsTo = Car static hasMany = [car:Cars] static constraints = { } String toString() { "${TypeName}" } class CLines implements Serializable { Dealer dealer CLType clType SubType subType Product product static constraints = { dealer(nullable:false, blank:false, unique:['subType','product','clType']) clType(blank:false, nullable:false) subType(nullable:true) product(nullable:true) } } I want to achieve this combination: A user can assign dealer a CLType. But cannot have duplicates. As an example consider this scenario Please let me know what to mention in my unqiue constraint to make this possible? Thanks, Much Appreciated.

  • Separate groups of objects based on their properties

    - by Bevin
I want to separate an array of my custom object into several arrays, based on the values of their two properties. The struct looks like this: struct MyStruct { public string Person { get; set; } public string Command { get; set; } } Now, if I have an array with a few objects: {Person1, cmd1} {Person1, cmd3} {Person2, cmd3} {Person3, cmd2} {Person2, cmd4} I want to be able to place them into one array for each person, that lists all of the commands for that person: {Person1: cmd1, cmd3} {Person2: cmd3, cmd4} {Person3: cmd2} I hope I've made it clear with my descriptions. I would assume that there is an elegant way to do this with LINQ, but I have no idea where to start.

  • Create unique identifier for different row-groups

    - by Max van der Heijden
I want to number certain combinations of row in a dataframe (which is ordered on ID and on Time) tc <- textConnection(' id time end_yn number abc 10 0 1 abc 11 0 2 abc 12 1 3 abc 13 0 1 def 10 0 1 def 15 1 2 def 16 0 1 def 17 0 2 def 18 1 3 ') test <- read.table(tc, header=TRUE) The goal is to create a new column ("journey_nr") that give a unique number to each row based on the journey it belongs to. Journeys are defined as a sequence of rows per id up until to end_yn == 1, also if end_ynnever becomes 1, the journey should also be numbered (see the expected outcome example). It is only possible to have end_yn == 0 journeys at the end of a collection of rows for an ID (as shown at row 4 for id 3). So either no end_yn == 1 has occured for that ID or that happened before the end_yn == 0-journey (see id == abc in the example). I know how to number using the data.table package, but I do not know which columns to combine in order to get the expected outcome. I've searched the data.table-tag on SO, but could not find a similar problem. Expected outcome: id time end_yn number journey abc 10 0 1 1 abc 11 0 2 1 abc 12 1 3 1 abc 13 0 1 2 def 10 0 1 3 def 15 1 2 3 def 16 0 1 4 def 17 0 2 4 def 18 1 3 4

  • How to sub with matched groups and variables in Python

    - by Syed
Hi, new to python. This is probably simple but I haven't found an answer. rndStr = "20101215" rndStr2 = "20101216" str = "Looking at dates between 20110316 and 20110317" outstr = re.sub("(.+)([0-9]{8})(.+)([0-9]{8})",r'\1'+rndStr+r'\2'+rndStr2,str) The output I'm looking for is: Looking at dates between 20101215 and 20101216 But instead I get: P101215101216 The values of the two rndStr's doesn't really matter. Assume its random or taken from user input (I put static vals here to keep it simple). Thanks for any help.

  • Drawing a polygon around groups of datapoints in MATLAB

    - by Hossein
Hi, I have a set of datapoints each of which belongs to a certain cluster(group).I need to draw a polygone around each of these clusters.Does anyone knows how to do it? PS: It doesn't matter if I use or not use the actual datapoints for drawing the polygon. I just need them to be wrapped in a polygon. Thanks

  • ORDERING A MYSQL QUERY WITH JOINS AND GROUPS

    - by Oliver
I have this mysql query: SELECT * FROM Customer c JOIN eHRDemographic ehD ON ehD.CxID = c.CustomerID JOIN CustPrimaryWeight cpW ON cpW.CxID = c.CustomerID WHERE c.CustomerID =22703 GROUP BY c.CustomerID ORDER BY cpW.CustPrimaryWeightID DESC This doesn't really work correctly as the CustPrimaryWeight table has multiple enteries and it's simply joining the first entry and not the more recent one as the ORDER statement doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?

  • C# - Printing out groupnames, items and subitems in a loop?

    - by Nike
What I'm trying to do, is to store all groupnames, items and subitems from a listview into a string. Take a look at the following screenshot. I'm kind of stuck though, with the loop. I'm pretty sure i can figure out how to actually store it in a variable though. The following code will loop through all of the listview Items: int countGroups = csslistview.Items.Count; foreach (ListViewItem lvi in csslistview.Items){ //code here countGroups++; } But i can't figure out how to loop through all of the Groups. I tried this, but it's not working: int countGroups = csslistview.Groups.Count; foreach (ListViewItem lvi in csslistview.Items){ //code here countGroups++; } I'm trying to echo it out as CSS, if you're wondering. The grouname is the id/class/tag, the item is the rule, and the subitem is the property. So, any ideas?

  • Is it possible to restrict how a method can be called in PHP?

    - by Ashley Ward
Given that my class looks like this: class Methods{ function a(){ return 'a'; } function b(){ $this->a(); } function c(){ $this->a(); } } Is it possible to ensure that function a can only be called from function b? In the above example function c should fail. I could just include it in function b, but in the future I may want to let a() be called by some new functions (e.g. d() or e())

  • Word filter that groups words?

    - by Legend
Is there any library that achieves the following: Convert Microsoft Windows 98 Microsoft Windows XP Windows 7 Windows Ultimate Desktop Windows to Windows 4 The complicated part here is to recognize that "Desktop Windows" is an anomaly here and not count it. If nothing is added before the word "Windows", perhaps it can be counted but if there is something else and the suffix does not match any popular suffix, it can still be counted. Maybe I am a little vague here but perhaps someone could have an idea about what I am talking about here. Any suggestions?

  • Optimising ruby regexp -- lots of match groups

    - by Farcaller
I'm working on a ruby baser lexer. To improve performance, I joined up all tokens' regexps into one big regexp with match group names. The resulting regexp looks like: /\A(?<__anonymous_-1038694222803470993>(?-mix:\n+))|\A(?<__anonymous_-1394418499721420065>(?-mix:\/\/[\A\n]*))|\A(?<__anonymous_3077187815313752157>(?-mix:include\s+"[\A"]+"))|\A(?<LET>(?-mix:let\s))|\A(?<IN>(?-mix:in\s))|\A(?<CLASS>(?-mix:class\s))|\A(?<DEF>(?-mix:def\s))|\A(?<DEFM>(?-mix:defm\s))|\A(?<MULTICLASS>(?-mix:multiclass\s))|\A(?<FUNCNAME>(?-mix:![a-zA-Z_][a-zA-Z0-9_]*))|\A(?<ID>(?-mix:[a-zA-Z_][a-zA-Z0-9_]*))|\A(?<STRING>(?-mix:"[\A"]*"))|\A(?<NUMBER>(?-mix:[0-9]+))/ I'm matching it to my string producing a MatchData where exactly one token is parsed: bigregex =~ "\n ... garbage" puts $~.inspect Which outputs #<MatchData "\n" __anonymous_-1038694222803470993:"\n" __anonymous_-1394418499721420065:nil __anonymous_3077187815313752157:nil LET:nil IN:nil CLASS:nil DEF:nil DEFM:nil MULTICLASS:nil FUNCNAME:nil ID:nil STRING:nil NUMBER:nil> So, the regex actually matched the "\n" part. Now, I need to figure the match group where it belongs (it's clearly visible from #inspect output that it's _anonymous-1038694222803470993, but I need to get it programmatically). I could not find any option other than iterating over #names: m.names.each do |n| if m[n] type = n.to_sym resolved_type = (n.start_with?('__anonymous_') ? nil : type) val = m[n] break end end which verifies that the match group did have a match. The problem here is that it's slow (I spend about 10% of time in the loop; also 8% grabbing the @input[@pos..-1] to make sure that \A works as expected to match start of string (I do not discard input, just shift the @pos in it). You can check the full code at GH repo. Any ideas on how to make it at least a bit faster? Is there any option to figure the "successful" match group easier?

  • How to Get Control Panel Categories (Groups) on Windows Vista and Windows 7

    - by Bill
Is there a way to get a listing of control panel categories on Windows Vista and Windows 7 using the shell? Is there a way to determine which category an applet is assigned to using conical Names using the shell? such as Microsoft.Mouse is in which category? I have some code that works nicely to display control panel applet names obtained from the shell in a TListView in a Vista Classic ungrouped list. I'd like to try to group the applet names in the TListView similar to Control Panel Classic Grouped by Category in Vista. Bill

  • Removing groups of similar records in MySQL query

    - by user1182155
I'm trying to wrap my head around this... (it may be simple, been a long day!) I have a database with sometimes multiple similar records... ie. Apples 2008-09-03 Apples 2012-01-01 Apples 2013-10-24 Oranges 2012-01-04 What I need to do is do a query that will show only records that haven't been updated today... So in this case, since Apples has an entry that was updated today, none of the records for the Apples should appear in the results. Oranges should be the only record it returns. I have a query similar to this... SELECT fruit FROM fruitnames where date < CURDATE() Which works to remove the record that was updated today... But it keeps the other records for Apples (obviously)... How would I remove those results as well?

  • Groups equivalent for social plugin Facepile

    - by oivvio
I need to do something similar to the Facepile social plugin for a site I'm working on. The problem is the client does not have have a Facebook page, but instead has a Facebook Group (with some 4000+ members). I guess I could urge the client to move their group members to a page, and I might do that in the future. But before I do I want to research how we're going to do Facebook-integration more thoroughly. For now I just need a quick fix.

  • Splitting values into groups evenly

    - by Paul Knopf
Let me try to explain the situation the best I can. Lets say I have 3 values 1, 2, 3 I tell an algorithm to split this values into x columns. Lets say x = 2 for clarification. The algorithm determines that the group of values is best put into two columns the following way. 1st column 2nd column --------------------------- 1 3 2 Each column has an even number (totals, not literals) value. Now lets say I have the following values 7, 8, 3, 1, 4 I tell the algorithm that I want the values split into 3 columns. The algorithm now tells me that the following is the best fit. 1st column 2nd column 3rd column 8 7 3 1 4 Notice how the columns arent quiet even, but it is as close as it can get. A little over and a little under is considered ok, as long as the list is AS CLOSE TO EVEN AS IT CAN BE. Anybody got any suggestions? Know any good methods of doing this?

  • dropping characters from regular expression groups

    - by tcurdt
The goal: I want to convert a number from the format "10.234,56" to "10234.56" Using this simple approach almost gets us there /([\d\.]+),(\d\d)/ => '\1.\2' The problem is that the first group of the match (of course) still contains the '.' character. So questions are: Is it possible to exclude a character from the group somehow? How would you solve this with a single regexp (I know this is a trivial problem when not using a single regexp)

  • Need Regex for to match special situations

    - by Daniel
I'm desperately searching for regular expressions that match these scenarios: 1) Match alternating chars I've a string like "This is my foobababababaf string" - and I want to match "babababa" Only thing I know is the length of the fragment to search - I don't know what chars/digits that might be - but they are alternating. I've really no clue where to start :( 2) Match combined groups In a string like "This is my foobaafoobaaaooo string" - and I want to match "aaaooo". Like in 1) I don't know what chars/digits that might be. I only know that they will appear in two groups. I experimented using (.)\1\1\1(.)\1\1\1 and things like this...

  • SQL to get rows (not groups) that match an aggregate

    - by xulochavez
Given table USER (name, city, age), what's the best way to get the user details of oldest user per city? I have seen the following example SQL used in Oracle which I think it works select name, city, age from USER, (select city as maxCity, max(age) as maxAge from USER group by city) where city=maxCity and age=maxAge So in essence: use a nested query to select the grouping key and aggregate for it, then use it as another table in the main query and join with the grouping key and the aggregate value for each key. Is this the standard SQL way of doing it? Is it any quicker than using a temporary table, or is in fact using a temporary table interanlly anyway?

  • regex help using repreated groups

I'm trying to match rc-update -s output in python. m = re.match(r"^\s*(\w+)\s*\|{\s*(\w+)\s*}*$", " network | level1 level2 leveln ") but m is always None the hard part for me is getting the regex to match the n levels. I thought that using {}* would match the n levels, but as soon as I add the {} nothing matches. thanks.
