  • To run two CGIs simultaneously

    On my form onbutton submit following events takes place: 1) CGI is called which uploads the file 2) Javascript/Ajax function is called which opens a request for another CGI and is supposed to receive updated values from there. However, it seems that the CGI with which Ajax is communicating is not responding to Ajax requests. My question is that is it possible to run two CGIs simultaneously?

  • Is there a way to opt-out from WP8 when submiting an Windows Phone app?

    I have a Windows Phone app build using the 7.1 SDK that works great on WP7 but does not work at all on WP8 (I am using multicast using UDP and WP8 can join the group but send/receives no message for some reason, other people having the same problem: UDP multicast group on Windows Phone 8). Is there a way to opt-out from WP8 when I submit my app? I just want the app to be available t WP7 users. I am looking for something like the 256MB opt-out option.

    If I have variables a, b, an c of type double, let c:=a/b, and give a and b values of 7 and 10, then c's value of 0.7 registers as being LESS THAN 0.70. On the other hand, if the variables are all type extended, then c's value of 0.7 does not register as being less than 0.70. This seems strange. What information am I missing?

  • How to handle when SSRS does not automatically update fields based on database query?

    So I am trying to change the number of fields in my dataset in SSRS and the refresh button is not picking up the added field from the SQL server. The query is definitely returning the correct data, as I have double checked in the server engine itself. Also, I have tried manually adding the field using the SSRS menu, but as soon as I execute it disappears. Any suggestions or similar experiences?

  • jQuery action being called when selector isn't met?

    I've been working on a prototype for a client's web site and I've run into a rather significant snag. You can view the prototype here. As you can see, the way it works is you can scroll a set of slides horizontally and, by clicking one, open a stack containing yet more slides. If you then click again on an image in that stack it opens up a lightbox. Clicking on another stack or the close button will close that stack (and open another, as case may be). That all works great. However you get some weird behavior if you do the following: Click to open any stack. Click to open an image's light box (this works best if you click on the image that's level with the main list). Close the light box and the stack either by clicking the close button or clicking on another stack. Click back to the first stack. Instead of reopening the stack, you get the lightbox. This confuses me as the light box should only ever be called if there is a class on the containing UL and that class is removed when the lightbox is closed. I've checked and double-checked this, it's definitely missing. However, if you check it with Firebug it won't. For those who are curious, the added .trigger("click"); is because the lightbox will require a double-click to launch otherwise. Any idea how I can fix this?

  • javascript: how to delay submitting data when several checkboxes clicked in short time interval?

    I have an array of checkboxes in a complex dynamic-html form. Whenever a user clicks one checkbox, a fairly expensive query is generated and submitted to a remote server. I want to delay this submit action depending on the users next action. If the user clicks several checkboxes quickly, all of the first clicks should be discarded, only the last one is processed and eventually submitted after 1 second or so. maybe this is a common problem but I have never worked with timeouts before.

  • It is only uploading first row's file input

    I have a application which you can access here. If you open the application please click on the "Add" button a couple of times. This will add a new row into a table below. In each table row there is an AJAX file uploader. Now the problem is that if I click on the "Upload" button in any row except the first row, then the uploading only happens in the first row so it is only uploading the first file input only. Why is it doing this and how can I get it so that when then the user clicks the "Upload" button, the file input within that row of the "Upload" button is uploaded and not the first row being uploaded? The only thing I store are in the form partial.. The problem I'm running into is that when a validation error gets thrown, the page renders the new action (expected) but none of the non-column attributes within the Account Detail form will show? Any ideas as to how I can change this code around a bit to make this work me?? This same solution may be the help I need for the edit form, I have a getter for the data which it asks the API for, but without place a :value = "asdf" within each text box, it doesn't populate the fields either..
