• jqgrid date picker problem

  For a couple of days now I have been playing around with the jqgrid.I have been trying to accomplish what is found on this example http://www.the-di-lab.com/demo/apples that is placing a date picker on the modal form. So far I have tried to follow what I found on this link but I get a target.getAttribute is not a function error in my ui.datepicker.js script. Anyone who has done it succesfully?

Any insight here would be greatly appreciated, not having the GTileLayers in V3 is fine if I can work around it, until then I'm frustrated.

I want to use L2E since it s very convenient to my company's apps, I created a demo project, the demo does run on every machine but when I, lets say, press a button that has some code that uses the entity I get this error: specified store provider cannot be found in the configuration, or is not valid. note that I get this error only on machines that does not have VS2008 installed, on these machines (the ones with VS2008) the demo works well. any advice is appreciated. I am using MySql server with Mysql Conector 6.3 and the model is created with ADO.Net entitiy model. • Using Wicked with Devise for a sign up wizard

  I am using devise with wicked to create a sign up wizard, but I am unsure about a problem I am having creating profiles. After a user provides their email & password they are forwarded to a step to create a profile based on whether they have specified they are a shipper or carrier. However I am unsure what the code should be in the controller and the forms to generically create a profile.   Can anyone think of a way to simulate the fade/blur flash effect used in the following website: http://www.frenchlaundry.com/ (image fades and blurs on hover, while text fades in simultaneously) using JQuery? I am looking to have this whole chain of effects happen on load or when the DOM is ready (instead of on hover). And by blur, I mean a gaussian-type of blur - possibly using Pixastic (?)   I have a list of values each with latitude and longitude. I'm looking to create a translucent heatmap image to overlay on Google Maps. I know there are server side and flash based solutions already, but I want to build this in javascript using the canvas tag. However, I can't seem to find a concise description of the algorithm used to turn coordinates and values into a heatmap. Can anyone provide or link to one? Thanks.

  I'm using a Silverlight 4 WCF RIA Services demo application that uses LinqToSql, that works well. I add a new database table, move the new table to the LinqToSql designer and build the project I add a new DomainService class I get a dialog with the only option to create an empty DomainService and no DataContext classes are available.
