  • jQuery/CSS related problem

    Hi I am new to jQuery, and this is the page I'm currently developing. http://90.230.237.71/gandhi.html (Hope that works now :P) When I hit "Show/hide gallery" all the images are first opened vertically, and later they are corrected to their horizontal placement, that's the problem. They should be horizontal right away! I don't know if this is due to jQuerys slideDown or entirely CSS-related, but the code is all there for you. Initally, the images are set to display: none, perhaps they then are invisibly stored vertically. Then slideDown is performed and last, the CSS-attributes are changed to "display: inline". Perhaps I need to change execution order of slideDown and setting the CSS-attributes... but how? I NEED HELP... for many reasons, but I only want you to help me with this one ;) And also, please actually look at the code before making any assumptions. It's all there in the code.

    Over at html syntax to display literal string i asked about displaying a literal. When i tried : http://sdrv.ms/1bEsPWz (as the posted sample will not display, i need to show a picture, as i don't have 10 xxx, i can't insert a picture, I am only left with a skydrive reference) In english, the and syntax was tried but it failed to show all content inside the block. It only showed the "is equal to - pre sample " part. I thought - did not care what was inside ? Can some explain how to make a truely literal block display ? I have my reasons why i don't want to have the " syntax in the html. Thanks

  • Rendering HTML in rails without actually displaying it

    Hello all, My current project requires me to assemble a .zip file containing HTML and text-only templates for a user to download, for importing into an email marketing program. I've inherited this project, and currently the code uses a "fake" model (that is a model that does not directly correlate to a database table), in which it stores the entire template in a string, using dynamic variables to populate certain areas. The "fake" model then has a method for creating a zip file. It seems to me that there has to be a better way to do this. I was wondering if there was a way to move the template into a .erb/haml file, and then write a method that would populate the file in preparation for being zipped up? Basically, is there a way to render an HTML and text file, without actually having to display them? Thanks for any help.

    Define a positive number to be isolated if none of the digits in its square are in its cube. For example 163 is n isolated number because 69*69 = 26569 and 69*69*69 = 4330747 and the square does not contain any of the digits 0, 3, 4 and 7 which are the digits used in the cube. On the other hand 162 is not an isolated number because 162*162=26244 and 162*162*162 = 4251528 and the digits 2 and 4 which appear in the square are also in the cube. Write a function named isIsolated that returns 1 if its argument is an isolated number, it returns 0 if its not an isolated number and it returns -1 if it cannot determine whether it is isolated or not (see the note below). The function signature is: int isIsolated(long n) Note that the type of the input parameter is long. The maximum positive number that can be represented as a long is 63 bits long. This allows us to test numbers up to 2,097,151 because the cube of 2,097,151 can be represented as a long. However, the cube of 2,097,152 requires more than 63 bits to represent it and hence cannot be computed without extra effort. Therefore, your function should test if n is larger than 2,097,151 and return -1 if it is. If n is less than 1 your function should also return -1.     I'm trying to create a method that will sum two timeO objects and return a new TimeO object called sum. Here is the relevant code snippet: public static TimeO add (TimeO t1, TimeO t2) { TimeO sum = new TimeO ; ... } When i try to compile it i get this error message: TimeO.java:15: '(' or '[' expected TimeO sum = new TimeO ; ^ 1 error i cant think of any reason why it would want me to open a set of parenthasies or brackets here but its possible that i dont' quite understand the syntax.     I am receiving data from a web service, and some of the strings have html entities in them, for example: {"prop": "htmlentity - é"} The &eacute; is not being parsed to é. My question is twofold: 1. Is this even supposed to happen? I looked through the JSON spec the best I could, but couldn't find any reference to html entities. 2. What is the right way to do this with a DataContractJsonSerializer, if there is a right way?

  • Apache not handling files correctly (Handler Help)

    I'm trying to set up my .htaccess file correctly and I'm having an issue. The only thing my .htaccess file at the moment is: AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html .htm This is included because my server is not parsing php in my html files. However when this is included in my .htaccess file, when I open a page in my browser, the user is prompted to save or open the file locally. I believe the answer to my issues is setting up an action to be done (run with php) however I cannot find out the path to my php files. Any help is appreciated.

(there is space at the end to type in an input) This would seem to suggest that the while terminates before an input is ever typed in since the first line of text is within the while while the second line of text comes after it outside of it. Why is this happening?

  • Need help identiying a nasty rootkit in Windows

    I have a nasty rootkit that not tools seem to be able to idenity. I know for sure it's a rootkit, but I can figure out which rootkit it is. Here's what I gathered so far: It creates multiple copies of itself in %HOME%\Local Settings\Temp with names like Q.EXE, IAJARZ.exe, etc., and install them as hidden services. These EXE have SysInternals identifiers in them so they're definitely rootkits. It hooked very deep in the system, including file read/write, security policies, registry read/write, and possibly WinSock/TCP/IP. When going to Sophos.com to download their software, the rootkit inject something called Microsoft Ajax Tootkit into the page, which injects code into the email submission form in order to redirect it. (EDIT: I might have panicked. Looks like Sophos does use an AJAZ email form, their form is just broken on Chrome so it looked like a mail form injection attack, the link is http://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/virus-removal-tool/download.aspx ) Super-Antispyware found a lot of spyware cookies, in the name of .kaspersky.2o7.net, etc. (just chedk 2o7.net, looks like it's a legit ad company) I tried comparing DNS lookup from the infected systems and from system in other physical locations, no DNS redirections it seems. I used dd to copy the MBR and compared it with the MBR provided by ms-sys package, no differences so it's not infecting MBR. No antivirus or rootkit scanner be able to identify it. Most of them can't even find it. I tried scanning, in-situ (normal mode), in safe mode, and boot to linux live CD. Scanners used: Avast, Sophos anti rootkit, Kasersky TDSSKiller, GMER, RootkitRevealer, and many others. Kaspersky reported some unsigned system files that ought to be signed (e.g. tcpip.sys), and reported a number of MD5 mismatches. But otherwise couldn't identify anything based on signature. When running Sysinternal RootkitRevealer and Sophos AntiRootkit, CPU usage goes up to 100% and gets stucked. The Rootkit is blocking them. When trying running/installing HiJackThis, RootkitRevealer and some other scanners, it tells me system security policy prevent running/installing it. The list of malicious acitivities go on and on. here's a sample of logs from all my scans. In particular, aswSnx.SYS, apnenfno.sys and PROCMON20.SYS has a huge number of hooks. It's hard to tell if the rootkit replaced legit program files like aswSnx.SYS (from Avast) and PROCMON20.SYS (from Sysinternal Process Monitor). I can't find whether apnenfno.sys is from a legit program. Help to identify it is appreciated.   • Help me upgrade my pf.conf for OpenBSD 4.7

    I'm planning on upgrading my OpenBSD to 4.7 (from 4.6) and as you may or may not know, they changed the syntax for pf.conf. This is the relevant portion from the upgrade guide: pf(4) NAT syntax change As described in more detail in this mailing list post, PF's separate nat/rdr/binat (translation) rules have been replaced with actions on regular match/filter rules. Simple rulesets may be converted like this: nat on $ext_if from 10/8 -> ($ext_if) rdr on $ext_if to ($ext_if) -> 1.2.3.4 becomes match out on $ext_if from 10/8 nat-to ($ext_if) match in on $ext_if to ($ext_if) rdr-to 1.2.3.4 and... binat on $ext_if from $web_serv_int to any -> $web_serv_ext becomes match on $ext_if from $web_serv_int to any binat-to $web_serv_ext nat-anchor and/or rdr-anchor lines, e.g. for relayd(8), ftp-proxy(8) and tftp-proxy(8), are no longer used and should be removed from pf.conf(5), leaving only the anchor lines. Translation rules relating to these and spamd(8) will need to be adjusted as appropriate. N.B.: Previously, translation rules had "stop at first match" behaviour, with binat being evaluated first, followed by nat/rdr depending on direction of the packet.
