Now i want to send the parameter as an xml input for that request. so plz can anybody give me an idea of how to do it in iphone?     Hi. This has been bugging me for days, i'm trying to send a SOAP post via curl but i just keep getting a 'couldn't connect to host' error but i really cant see how. I have an asp version which works fine with the same url and data, i think it's just a php/curl thing...?     I want to use an event listener for preventing the onclick statement of a submit button, however, using event.preventDefault() doesn't work as intended.   • Python: Removing particular character (u"\u2610") from string

    I have been wrestling with decoding and encoding in Python, and I can't quite figure out how to resolve my problem. I am looping over xml text files (sample) that are apparently coded in utf-8, using Beautiful Soup to parse each file, then looking to see if any sentence in the file contains one or more words from two different list of words. Because the xml files are from the eighteenth century, I need to retain the em dashes that are in the xml. The code below does this just fine, but it also retains a pesky box character that I wish to remove. I believe the box character is this character. (You can find an example of the character I wish to remove in line 3682 of the sample file above. On this webpage, the character looks like an 'or' pipe, but when I read the xml file in Komodo, it looks like a box. When I try to copy and paste the box into a search engine, it looks like an 'or' pipe. When I print to console, though, the character looks like an empty box.)     Hi In XML I'd normal expect the following to be perfectly valid and navigable in a meaningful way using something like PHP's DomDocument: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <configdata> <page> <name>Home</name> </page> <page> <name>Log in</name> </page> </configdata> This is not the case when using Zend_Navigation. Each <page> element needs to have a unique name, so you would need to do: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <configdata> <page_home> <name>Home</name> </page_home> <page_log_in> <name>Log in</name> </page_log_in> </configdata> This works, but is very annoying. I'd much rather have multiple page elements which can have the same name and can be easily copy and pasted when creating many pages for navigation. Why does each one need a unique name? Is there a way of not having to have a unique name?

    I have a java servlet that needs to write out files that have a user-configurable name. I am trying to use URI encoding to properly escape special characters, but the JRE appears to automatically convert encoded forward slashes (%2F) into path separators. Example: File dir = new File("C:\Documents and Setting\username\temp"); String fn = "Top 1/2.pdf"; URI uri = new URI( dir.toURI().toASCIIString() + URLEncoder.encoder( fn, "UTF-8" ).toString() ); File out = new File( uri ); System.out.println( dir.toURI().toASCIIString() ); System.out.println( URLEncoder.encoder( fn, "UTF-8" ).toString() ); System.out.println( uri.toASCIIString() ); System.out.println( output.toURI().toASCIIString() ); The output is: file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/username/temp/ Top+1%2F2.pdf file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/username/temp/Top+1%2F2.pdf file:/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/username/temp/Top+1/2.pdf After the new File object is instantiated, the %2F sequence is automatically converted to a forward slash and I end up with an incorrect path. Does anybody know the proper way to approach this issue? The core of the problem seems to be that uri.equals( new File(uri).toURI() ) == FALSE when there is a '%2F' in the URI. I'm planning to just use the URLEncoded string verbatim rather than trying to use the File(uri) constructor.

  • Teamcity build agent gives 504 gateway timeout

    I have a new teamcity build agent machine, which when started up tries to connect to the build server and fails. It never shows up in the connected, disconnected or unauthorised agents tabs of the build server web interface. The logs on the build agent show that it fails to connect with a 504 gateway timeout. I can see a teamcity login page if I hit http://10.0.10.16 in the browser. The teamcity service is logging in as the same (local administrator) account as I used to log in and test the network. The build agent is a windows 2008 server VM hosted on Ubuntu 12.04 under Oracle VirtualBox. I have disabled firewalls on both the Windows and Ubuntu machines. Other VMS with similar configuration can connect fine and do not report this error. What can possibly be preventing this connection?

  • High CPU usage by 'svchost.exe' and 'coreServiceShell.exe'

    I am having a laptop running on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. Since past few days, my laptop is facing a serious problem. Whenever I connect to Internet, either svchost.exe or coreServiceShell.exe or both hog the CPU. The coreServiceShell.exe consumes a lot of RAM also. Going into the details, I found that high CPU usage of svchost.exe is caused by Network Location Awareness service. And the high CPU usage of coreServiceShell.exe is caused by Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2012. That kind'a makes me think that Trend Micro may be the root of the problem. After further testing, I found that if I use IE or Firefox to browse the Internet, immediately after connecting to Internet, things are normal. See and But if I use Google Chrome, the coreServiceShell.exe hogs both CPU and RAM. At this point, if I disconnect the Internet, the CPU and RAM usage by coreServiceShell.exe continues to be high till I close the Chrome. Also, when I close the Chrome, while Internet is connected, svchost.exe continues to hog CPU but coreServiceShell.exe leaves the race. That makes think that Chrome is the root of the problem, but again, tracing coreServiceShell.exe takes me back to Trend Micro Internet Security. Stopping the Protection by the Trend Micro Internet Security doesn't help either (I am not able to stop its services though). I have updated the Chrome, but no help. I just can't figure out who is the culprit. I can't do without the Google Chrome (of course, by not using it) because of its immensely useful and indispensable features both during browsing and development. Secondly, I can't uninstall the Trend Micro Internet security Suite since it still has few months before it expires and is proving me reliable protection. What could be the cause of the problem and what can I do to resolve this? Thanks in advance

    Does anyone know how to use Nortel Netdirect (Version 7.1.3.0) with Windows 7 64 bit (Home Premium)? There are several ways available to me for connecting, all of which work for me on a 32-bit XP machine: Nortel Contivity VPN client (v6_02.022). The installer appears to be 16-bit, so I can't even install it on a 64-bit machine. Web-based SSL via IE Web-based SSL via Firefox The Web-based SSL process is supposed to load Netdirect and start it up, establishing the VPN connection. Using Firefox, I'm able to authenticate with my smartcard, but when it tries to download the applet, the process stops with a message box saying that it couldn't download the zip file. If I run Firefox in Vista compatibility mode, it gets a little farther, and manages to start Netdirect, but then exits after notifying me that the netdirect adapter was not installed.   • MultiView 2000 terminal emulator not printing correctly to Generic/Text Printer on Windows 7

    Guys & gals, Hope someone can shed some light on this. I am downloading reports from an AIX-based system by directing them to a TT printer which the terminal emulator (MultiView 2000) intercepts and directs to the default printer on the local system. This local printer is configured as a vanilla Generic/Text printer attached to a FILE port. When I print from AIX, the output is spooled down and the local printer prompts for a file name into which to save the file...but not under Windows 7. This has worked fine for many years, on both Win2K and WinXP. However, on Windows 7 the output gets spooled as a file into spool\PRINTERS (and looks as expected) but the print job then hangs with a status of "Error - Printing" and never prompts for a file name. I have to cancel the job. The Generic/Text printer works as expected with other applications. I have tried setting the printer to print directly rather than spooling but this only serves to hang the terminal session too. I've also tried to run the emulator in Windows 2000 Compatibility Mode and as Administrator in case it was something like that but with no luck. As you might expect, it does work fine in XP Mode (as long as I print to a printer defined therein and not the host's printer) but operationally this isn't going to be an option. Obviously this emulation software is a decade old (at least) and I could just cross/upgrade all the users (at a cost) but, before I do so, has anyone seen this sort of behaviour before and found some sort of fix?     I have one physical Windows 2008 R2 server running Hyper-V. Running under Hyper-V I have a virtual Windows Server 2008 R2 server running Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services). I'm preparing my applications using the "Install Application on Remote Desktop..." control panel app. So far so good. However, I am now trying to install FoxPro 2.6 which is a 16-bit windows application. When I try to install it I receive the message: "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher". Is there any way around this? I'm in the middle of a large migration to thin-clients and foxpro 2.6, while it won't be around forever, is a very integral application for our data-entry personnel. How can I get this to work?   • How do I upgrade PHP on CentOS and Kloxo?

    I need to upgrade PHP so that I can upgrade joomla on my dedicated server. I have: kloxo 6.1.6 php-5.2.17-1 Linux CentOS-55-64-minimal 2.6.18-194.32.1.el5 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux I searched everywhere and I could only find that PHP 5.3 isn't compatible with zend. I would like to upgrade to 5.2.4, which is the minimum for joomla 1.6 and 1.7. I tried to run: yum update php.x86_64 Which is the PHP package installed, but it didn't work. This is a production server with quite a few users across many sites, so I wanted to do it as safely as possible. Is it safe to run "yum update"? It showed me 6 packages to install and 125 packages to update, including a kernel. Is that safe? I haven't touched kloxo's yum repositories. Update: I just successfully ran "yum update". Now I think I need to know how to add a new repository that has the 5.2.4 and how to update to that specific version. Any ideas?

  • Apachebench on node.js server returning "apr_poll: The timeout specified has expired (70007)" after ~30 requests

    I just started working with node.js and doing some experimental load testing with ab is returning an error at around 30 requests or so. I've found other pages showing a lot better concurrency numbers than I am such as: http://zgadzaj.com/benchmarking-nodejs-basic-performance-tests-against-apache-php Are there some critical server configuration settings that need done to achieve those numbers? I've watched memory on top and I still see a decent amount of free memory while running ab, watched mongostat as well and not seeing anything that looks suspicious. The command I'm running, and the error is: ab -k -n 100 -c 10 postrockandbeyond.com/ This is ApacheBench, Version 2.0.41-dev <$Revision: 1.121.2.12 $> apache-2.0 Copyright (c) 1996 Adam Twiss, Zeus Technology Ltd, http://www.zeustech.net/ Copyright (c) 2006 The Apache Software Foundation, http://www.apache.org/ Benchmarking postrockandbeyond.com (be patient)...apr_poll: The timeout specified has expired (70007) Total of 32 requests completed Does anyone have any suggestions on things I should look in to that may be causing this? I'm running it on osx lion, but have also run the same command on the server with the same results. EDIT: I eventually solved this issue. I was using a TTAPI, which was connecting to turntable.fm through websockets. On the homepage, I was connecting on every request. So what was happening was that after a certain number of connections, everything would fall apart. If you're running into the same issue, check out whether you are hitting external services each request.
