    i use such jquery treeview if parent node don't have child, it don't render '+' near it, how can i forse display it? i see such solution- if node don't have any child, add there fake childs and mark parent node not opened can you give any solution with sample?

  • Select form children when multiple forms are present jQuery

    I am dealing with a webpage that has multiple forms..some basic HTML forms and some AJAX forms. I have a created validation for inputs, let me give an example...if an input has a class="required" whenever a submit button is pressed if any required classes are empty then the form doesnt submit. Which works great...until you have multiple forms with required fields that dont apply to the section your submitting. I am able to find the closest form $(this).closest("form") and it gets me the form element properly, I then need to be able to loop only through the children of that form. I have tried: .children(':input'), .find('input') and honestly to many to list.   • jquery 2 fades complete at the same time

    Hello again, just another quick one: I am noticing differences with fadeOut dependant on whether this is a target. Here's my structure. I have rows of data on my page, and each row has two icons. One is an update icon for that row, one is a delete icon for that row. When a user clicks the update icon for a particular row, I want both the update and the delete icons to fade away. So, in order to fade the thing the user clicked (the update button) and its corresponding delete button, I am using... $(this).next().add(this).fadeOut('slow'); ...which works, but the two elements don't fade at the same time. this fades first (which is the update icon), and then this.next fades out (the delete icon). But if I specify the two elements by name... $('#updS2, #delS2').fadeOut('slow'); then they fade together. Why is it different? Apologies for Friday rambling.

    So I have a page where I would like to be able to add multiple, dynamic users to a record in a database. Yes - I should change the userRecord to a class - I will deal with that. This is just simple testing here. Should I look in JSON for this type of function? I'm not familiar with it but could figure it out if that is indeed my best option. Thanks for the guidance!

    I have a bunch of input text boxes that have the attribute ORIGINAL set to their initial value, so that when the user changes the textbox value, jQuery can highlight items that have changed (by comparing the text box's current value to the ORIGINAL attribute's value) What Im trying to do now is provide the user with a button that they can click to revert all text boxes back to their original values based on the value of the ORIGINAL attribute of each text box. Example $('input[type=text]').val($(this).attr('original')); The above doesnt work and I dont understand why.
