    Hi, I have build my custom webpart using the visual studio extensions. I want to deploy it. but getting error: No SharePoint Site exists at the specified URL for the solution I have tried to change the "Start browser with URL" from properties of the project in Debug tab. I gave my site name with port as, http://myserver:500/ but still problem there, when a i say build or deploy. Please guide me.

    I'd like that all the output that is shown in Tomcat's console will be saved into a file including the output on startup and shutdown of Tomcat. How can I do this? I looked at apache documentation about logging, Do I need to change something in the logging.properties can I trust log4j to write message from the first message on startup to the last message on shutdown?

  • Image Gallery with JQuery Lightbox

    Hi there, I've used the JQuery lightbox on a couple of websites, by having a gallery of thumbnails and the thumbnails as links to the bigger photos, such as: <a href="Images/Gallery/1.jpg" class="lightbox"> <img src="Images/Gallery/Thumbnails/1T.jpg" width="136" height="97" /> </a> My question is, using lightbox - can I make it so that I have a thumbnail image that when clicked takes you to a folder with a few pictures to cycle through, rather than just linking to one photo like in the example above? I've tried with one link like above and in the Gallery folder having more than one image, but I don't get any navigation buttons, just the one image that is linked to.

I've put together a fairly basic routine to recurse an objects properties and spit it out but before I go and write something more polished, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a component that provides this functionality.

    I have the following navigation where .topNav has position:relative and subnav has position:absolute. I cant get the sublist to appear over the main list due to z-index problems. This seems to be a known problem. <ul> <li class="topNav">About Us <ul class="subNav"><li> Subsection A</li><li>Subsection B</li></ul> </li> </ul> Does anyone know of a workaround? UPDATE http://brh.numbera.com/experiments/ie7_tests/zindex.html shows exacly the problem I have. My original posting was in the context of a list but I have reduced the problem to the fact that z-index dosn't seem to work when have an element with position:absolute inside a parent element with position:relative

  • How do I read Unicode characters from an MS Access 2007 database through Java?

    In Java, I have written a program that reads a UTF8 text file. The text file contains a SQL query of the SELECT kind. The program then executes the query on the Microsoft Access 2007 database and writes all fields of the first row to a UTF8 text file. The problem I have is when a row is returned that contains unicode characters, such as "?". These characters show up as "?" in the text file. I know that the text files are read and written correctly, because a dummy UTF8 character ("?") is read from the text file containing the SQL query and written to the text file containing the resulting row. The UTF8 character looks correct when the written text file is opened in Notepad, so the reading and writing of the text files are not part of the problem. This is how I connect to the database and how I execute the SQL query: ---- START CODE Connection c = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)};DBQ=C:/database.accdb;Pwd=temp"); ResultSet r = c.createStatement().executeQuery(sql); ---- END CODE I have tried making a charSet property to the Connection but it makes no difference: ---- START CODE Properties p = new Properties(); p.put("charSet", "utf-8"); p.put("lc_ctype", "utf-8"); p.put("encoding", "utf-8"); Connection c = DriverManager.getConnection("...", p); ---- END CODE Tried with "utf8"/"UTF8"/"UTF-8", no difference. If I enter "UTF-16" I get the following exception: "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Illegal replacement". Been searching around for hours with no results and now turn my hope to you. Please help! I also accept workaround suggestions. =) What I want to be able to do is to make a Unicode query (for example one that searches for posts that contain the "?" character) and to have results with Unicode characters receieved and saved correctly.   • ResolveURL not resolving in a user control

    I'm trying to use ResolveUrl() to set some paths in the code behind of a custom ASP.NET user control. The user control contains a navigation menu. I'm loading it on a page that's loading a master page. When I call ResolveUrl("~") in my user control it returns "~" instead of the root of the site. When I call it in a page I get the root path as expected. I've stepped through with the debugger and confirmed, ResolveUrl("~") returns "~" in my user control code behind. Is there some other way I should be calling the function in my user control code behind to get the root path of the site?

  • Lazy property loading in Nhibernate and Spring

    I'm using NHibernate 2.1.2 and Spring 1.3 I have two Text columns (blobs) in one of my classes. I'm trying to use lazy="true" for the mapping of those properties but NHProfiler still shows the two columns being added to the SELECT statement when the main object is loaded. I'm using Spring.NHibernate session factory and have configured ProxyFactory with both Castle and Spring with no luck.

    I have a web page that uses a frameset. Due to scripting and object dependencies, I need to load the frames in a specific order. I have used this example as a template: The JavaScript Source: Navigation: Frames Load Order This loads an empty page in place of the page I need to load last, then replaces it with the correct page after the first page has loaded. However: I also need to use the browser Back button. If you run the sample at the above link, let both frames load, then click the Back button, the top frame reverts to the temporary blank page. It is then necessary to click the Back button again to navigate to the page before the frameset. Is there a way to force frames to load in a specific order without this Back button behavior - or a way to force the Back button to skip the empty page? This needs to work with Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and preferably with Firefox 3 as well.

    In Flex 3, we can set the following properties in a container object for deferred instantiation: creationPolicy = "queued" creationIndex = "1" (or "2" or "3" etc.) In Flex 4, for I can find the creationPolicy property but there is no creationIndex - trying to set the creationIndex throws a "deprecated" warning but there is no hint on what to use otherwise Any ideas?     I am using a WebBrowser-Control to fill in a webform and then click at a button, this currently results in a standard Download File Dialog (you get these if you download a file using internet explorer), but instead, I have to catch this file and save it automatically with a by me defined name to a specific folder. I am trying to code a little application in vb.net which download the Export-file from my wordpress-blog, and I want to do this completely without user-interaction. Currently everything works, except the downloading of the file. I tried to catch it with the event System.Windows.Controls.WebBrowser.Navigating(ByVal Object, ByVal System.Windows.Navigation.NavigatingCancelEventArgs) but I don't see where to download the file from :( I hope you guys can help me.

  • How to install JMX Service?

    Hi, I am working on a device that installs an embedded linux system. I want to remote monitor the application running on that device using JConsole. However, when I set the property for JMX Agent like -Dcom.sun.management.jmxremote.port=8010, the system produced an error "the file management.properties does not exist". It seems that the Java installed on this embedded linux system does not include the JMX service yet. Anyone has some ideas that how can I install JMX service on such system, please? Thanks

  • View controllers inside tab bar controller not auto-rotating

    In an iPad app, I have five regular view controllers (not navigation controllers or anything like that) inside a tab bar controller. The tab bar controller is just a plain UITabBarController declared in the app delegate. All the view controllers return YES in the shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation method. On both the simulator and device, on rotation, the tab bar rotates properly but the currently selected view controller (call it A) does not. If I switch to another view controller B and then back to A (without rotating the device again), A appears correctly rotated. This happens with any of the five view controllers Why doesn't the currently selected view controller rotate and how do I fix it? Thanks.
