  • Antialiasing algorithm

    Hello, I'm looking for a good way to antialias a bitmap i'm generating with actionscript3. My goal would be to achieve this processing from scratch. I read a lot on the subject but the most common algorithm are looking too loud to work properly within my swf, because i'm using a scale2x algorithm to smooth the edges of my shape. It doesn't have to be colorfull, since my shape is black and white ! Any hint would be appreciated, thanks :)

  • iphone quartz drawing 2 lines on top of each other causes worm effect

    I'm using Quartz-2D for iPhone to display a route on a map. The route is colored according to temperature. Because some streets are colored yellow, I am using a slightly thicker black line under the route line to create a border effect, so that yellow parts of the route are spottable on yellow streets. But, even if the black line is as thick as the route line, the whole route looks like a worm (very ugly). I tought this was because I was drawing lines from waypoint to waypoint, instead using the last waypoint as the next starting waypoint. That way if there is a couple of waypoints missing, the route will still have no cuts.   • blitting issue when blitting to wxGCDC from a wxMemoryDC

    Hi All, I have loaded a wxBitmap (with transparency .png) in memoryDC now when i am blitting the data from the memoryDc to GCDC that time in transparent part its giving the black color. But if remove the GCDC and use normal ClientDC for display purpose there is no such problem happening, but i cannot remove the wxGCDC because this is only support the transparency in color drawing. Any solution or workaround really helpful. Thanks in advanced

    I would like to run a backup job on a directory tree from a bash script if any of the files have been modified in the last 30 minutes. I think I can hack together something using find with the -ctime flag, but I'm sure there is a standard way to examine a directory for changes. I know that I can inspect the ctime of the top level directory to see if files were added, but I need to be able to see changes also. FWIW, I am using duplicity to backup directories to S3.

    Hi, I'm using jsTree and SVG-Edit in the same file but there is a conflict in the active selected item. For example I clicked a tree item then I cannot draw in the svgcanvas div anymore. Maybe because of you click the item in jsTree then it's always selected and the svgcanvad div will not be active anymore? Any help, tips or tutorials will help. Thanks, Mark

    The default appearance of a method for example, ".ToString()" is by default the color black. I want to make it a different color to stand out but I do not see any options that reference this option specifically. I remember one of former collegues showing me his VS IDE years ago and he had it setup this way but I cannot recall what he did. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this?
