django-social-auth for Facebook is redirecting home and not logging in

I have had django-social-auth working for Google for quite some time now but am having problems with Facebook. I am at the point where clicking on the /login/facebook/ link will take me to the Facebook authorization page. I then click "go to app" and it redirects me to my home page but does not log in or create a user but does put some strange "#=" onto the back of my URL. Reading up on that, here https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/552/, and here https://github.com/omab/django-social-auth/issues/199, it seems that would be happening if the redirect uri was not defined. However, on my facebook app settings, I have the following (replacing my site with example.com): + App Namespace: "example" + Site URL: "http://example.com/complete/facebook/" + Site Domain: "example.com" + Sandbox Mode: "On" + Post-Authorize Redirect URL: "http://apps.facebook.com/example/" + Deauthorize URL: "http://www.example.com/" + Post-Authorize URL: "http://example.com/complete/facebook/" The request that django-social-auth is sending to facebook is (replacing my info again): "https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?scope=email&state=*&redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fexample.com%2Fcomplete%2Ffacebook%2F%3Fredirect_state%3D***&client_id=*" The /complete/facebook/ is what is in the documentation and google works as /complete/google/ What am I missing here?

Redirecting user from an old web to another in Sharepoint

Hi all: I want to add the ability to redirect users when they visit certain old sites. The URL of the old sites are unknown, but the server name is the same, e.g. Old site url: http://sharepoint/mySite/default.aspx New site url: http://sharepoint/myNewSite/... There are a lot of other pages within mySite, most of which must be redirected to the new site, but there are exceptions (e.g. user can still view the documents within the site). I thought I have to do this programmatically by somehow capturing the http request and read the url myself. Being no sharepoint guru, I had a quick google, and found that writing a web part is prehaps the best alternative for my situation. But I'm just wondering, given my situation and needs, is writing a web part, or something programmatically, really the ideal solution? Or is there a faster and quicker way to achieve what I want using Sharepoint? Thanks.

Google Custom Search Engine not giving the expected search result.

Hi, I have been trying to create a new google custom search engine, but when I try some query,the search engine it is not giving me the expected search result.On some queries it is working fine, but on other queries, it says"no result". I tried adding the URL of the website that I wanted to search for, but there are certain pages and keywords that are not coming up in the search result when I try to search for the keyword of that page. I tired adding both the main page URL and the URL of the sub page that I want to search for, but nothing is working. There are some sub pages to the main URL that are coming in the search result.

Getting error 400 / 404 - HttpUtility.UrlEncode not encoding full string?

Why do the following URLs give me the IIS errors below: A) http://192.168.1.96/cms/View.aspx/Show/Small+test' A2) http://192.168.1.96/cms/View.aspx/Show/Small%20test' <-- this works, but is not the result from HttpUtility.UrlEncode() B) http://192.168.1.96/cms/View.aspx/Show/'%26$%23funky**!!~''+page Error for A: HTTP Error 404.11 - Not Found The request filtering module is configured to deny a request that contains a double escape sequence. Error for B: HTTP Error 400.0 - Bad Request ASP.NET detected invalid characters in the URL. The last part of the URL after /Show/ is the result after the text is being sent through HttpUtility.UrlEncode() so, according to Microsoft it is URL Encoded correctly. If I user HttpUtility.UrlPathEncode() rather than HttpUtility.UrlEncode() I get the A2 results. But B ends up looking like: http://192.168.1.96/TVCMS-CVJZ/cms/View.aspx/Show/'&$#funky**!!~''%20page which is still wrong. Does Microsoft know how to URL Encode at all? Is there a function someone has written up to do it the correct way?

Protecting melody monitoring with acegi in grails

Hi, I have a Grails 1.2 app secured with acegi that I'm monitoring with the melody plugin for grails. I need to protect the url so only the "admin" role can access it but I'm having trouble with it - the rest of the acegi rules work just fine. In the BootStrap, I set def secureReqMap = new Requestmap(url: '/monitoring/**', configAttribute:'ROLE_ADMIN').save() Also tried with def secureReqMap = new Requestmap(url: '/monitoring', configAttribute:'ROLE_ADMIN').save() With no luck, it keeps being public. Reading server error messages for a URLLoader

If the Event.COMPLETE, I can see some message (a response) back from the server in the "data" field of the Event, but if onGetUploadURLError or getHttpStatus is called, it just says that the error code is 400 but does not show me the message associated with it. The "data" field is undefined in getHttpStatus and it is "" in onGetUploadURLError. On the contrary, in getBaseURL, I get: {"ResponseMetadata":{...}} I checked and I do get a similar response in my browser for a wrong request, but I cannot see it. jQuery AJAX Redirection problem

Hello please consider this: On page A I have a link that takes you to page B when JS is off, but when JS is on, I want to replace content on current page with content from the page B. Pages A and B are in fact the same script that is able to tell AJAX calls from regular ones and serve the content appropriately. Everything works fine, as long as there are no redirects involved. But, sometimes there is a 301 redirect and what seems to be happening is that client browser then makes a second request, which will return with a 200 OK. Only the second request is sent without a X-Requested-With header, therefore I cannot tell within my script wether it came from AJAX or not, and will send a complete page instead of just the content. I have tried checking for 301 status code in my error, success, and complete handlers but none of them worked. It seems to be handling the 301 behind the scenes. how to access anti aliasing method of a font with CSS

I've had this problem in a lot of different webs. You have a font which has different anti-aliasing options, the designer uses the same font with different anti-aliasing options on different parts of the text on the web. So there is a difference between some elements. In this case I have sharp, crisp, strong and smooth. I've used a font generator to get the code to access it via @font-face. Even so, I also have the original .otf if important to know. Is there a method to access this? invite friends in a dialog in a Facebook application

I'm trying to create a Facebook application that displays a friend invite dialog within the application using Facebook's Javascript API (FB.ui). To do that I followed this tutorial I have two problems : The action url I've put in the request-form is "http://apps.facebook.com/appname/post_invite.php" but I see that the iframe source after the post is "http://mydomain.com/post_invite.php" and when this iframe tries to do : parent.closeInviteWidget(); I get an error saying : "Permission denied for < http: //mydomain.com (document.domain has not been set) to get property Window.closeInviteWidget from < http:// apps.facebook.com (document.domain=< http:// facebook.com)." The skip button inside the request-form opens the action url in a new window (new browser tab) and not post to itself like the invite button. Requirements for connecting to Oracle with JDBC?

I'm a newbie to Java-related web development, and I can't seem to get a simple program with JDBC working. I'm using off-the-shelf Oracle 10g XE and the Eclipse EE IDE. From the books and web pages I've checked so far, I've narrowed the problem down to either an incorrectly written database URL or a missing JAR file. I have a Windows Forms app that, unfortunately, must make calls to controls from a second thread. I've been using the thread-safe pattern described on the http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms171728.aspx. Which has worked great in the past. The specific problem I am having now: I have a WebBrowser control and I'm attempting to invoke the WebBrowser.Navigate() method using this Thread-Safe pattern and as a result I am getting StackOverflow exceptions. joining relative urls?

So i want to join strings with relative urls in Javascript. base url = "http://www.adress.com/more/evenmore" with relative url = "../../adress" = "http://www.adress.com/adress" relative url = "../adress" = "http://www.adress.com/more/adress" What would be the best way? I was thinking of using regexp and checking how many "../" i find, then subtracting that amount from the baseurl and adding them to what is left.

Problems with sticky footer html css

I'm having trouble making a sticky footer, whatever I do the code completely messes up and re-arranged positioning of other elements. I'm using multiple div elements. Not able to get data from Json completely

i am getting JSON data from http://abinet.org/?json=1 and displaying the titles in a ListView. the code is working fine but the problem is, it is skipping few titles in my ListView and one title is being repeated. You can see the json data from url given above by copy paste it in JSON editor online http://www.jsoneditoronline.org/ i want titles in the "posts" array to be displayed in ListView, however it is being displayed like this: if you see the JSON data from the link above, its missing like 3 titles (they should come between the first and second title) and 5th title is being repeated. Dont know why this is happening. What minor adjustments i need to do?
