How to use JAXB APIs to generate classes from xsd?

Want to set 'src' of script to my IP.

I have a script that links to the server I am hosting (IP can change) usually I would just use for links: var url ='http://' + window.location.hostname + 'end of url'; But in this case it isnt appearing to be so easy. I have tried: (1) $('#scriptid').attr('src', url); as well as: (2) var script = document.createElement( 'script' ); script.type = 'text/javascript'; script.src = url; $("#insert").append( script ); Now case (2) works loads the script runs the script. But when at the end of my script it hits the 'write data' it decides to replace the entire page with just the data. Any idea on how I can do this?

Sanitize file_get_contents

I want to use file_get_contents to implement a proxy so I can do ajax cross domain requests. Querystring will be used to supply the URL to file_get_contents. Now the problem is people can muck around with the qurystring in order to read local files on the server. I dont wnat this. Can someone get me a function to sinitize the querystring in order only to accept urls and not local files: ie: ?url=http://google.com.au - OK ?url=./passwords.txt - Not OK

hi, on one domain i use command as:: setcookie( "cookiename", "cookievalue", expires after two days, "/", "domain1.com" ); on other domain i used a pixel code as that url not able to read cookie , but the same url able to read cookie when it is called directly. when i put htat url as a pixel code on other domain . it is not able to read value. what might be the problem for this ?? Codeigniter - Is it ok to add functionality to the constructor in controllers?

I'm making a project where I want the user to search for shops in different cities and would like the url to be like this: domain/shop/city/name. So I created a controller in codeigniter called Shop. But I cant create a city function since the city part of the url changes dependent on city name. One easy way to do it would be to add a function called "search" and add the functionality there but then I get url's like: domain/shop/search/city/name which I really would like to avoid. So my question is if it's ok to add my functionality directly into the constructor to avoid that extra "search" part in the url? I'm afraid that there might be some performance tricks involved that potentially keeps the class in memory so the constructor will not be called every time.

Installing Plugins from Cloud p2 repository in Eclipse IDE

I have been recently reading a lot about p2 for a requirement of mine. Most of the p2 documentation online points to p2 for RCP. My requirement is for a plugin repo. I have a plugin that is used within Eclipse IDE. I dnt want to change the repo location but based on the Eclipse Version, if the user looks for Install New Software or Check for Updates it needs to download the respective plugins. My repo currently contains all the plugins for all the versions. but i need to everytime give a different URL to my user based on the Version. For e.g i am using Eclipse 3.7(Indigo). I install the plugin thru Install New Software by adding the p2 Repo URL. Now the user decides to for some requirement move to Eclipse 3.6, I want him to connect to the same p2 Repo URL and download the plugins created for Eclipse 3.6. This is definitely possible using p2 Discovery, or i could categorize the downloads using composite repository but i dnt want to do any of these. Just want to kno is there any API that i can hold on to, so that before processing the URL and finding the updates, i can check the version of Eclipse and redirect it based on the version to an internal URL. This is possible in RCP, want to kno if i can do it in Eclipse p2 UI. All the p2 UI looks to be internal classes. Any directives would be appreciated. Malai

Is there anyway to call another url from the controller and send all of the parameters using a POST? I'm not expecting a response from the other site. How to show the animation without exposing the code?

There's an animation done in jQuery within jsfiddle. I do not have a website as of now to "implant" it and share the URL. I also can't give the jsfiddle. So how can I share my animation to the audience without showing the code? Does github or any other facility tools allow locking the code and showing the final product without having a website, yet I could get a URL for the audience to view it? I regret for the rookie-question in this context as I am still new to web stuff. EDIT: jsFiddle shows 3 code windows along the results :html, css, js. My requirement is to only show the results window to the audience and by all means to hide codes and leads via URL to the codes. Ideal solution demands a results to be shown and URL that is encrypted (at best).

Download Remote File

Hello all, I have a function that will be passed in a link. The link is to a remote image. I thought I could just use the extension of the file in the URL to determine the type of image but some URLs won't have extensions in the URL. They probably just push headers to the browser and therefore I do not have an extension to parse from the URL. How can I test if the URL has an extension and if not then read the headers to determine the file type? Am I over complicating things here? Is there an easier way to do this? I am making use of Codeigniter maybe there is something already built in to do this? All I really want to do is download an image from a URL with the correct extension. jQuery/Ajax IE7 - Long requests fail

Hi guys, I have a problem with IE7 regarding an ajax call that is made by jQuery.load function. Basically the request works in cases where the URL string is not too long, but as soon as the URL gets very large it fails. Doing some debugging on the Ajax call I found this error: URL: <blanked out security reasons but it's very long> Content Type: Headers size (bytes): 0 Data size (bytes): 0 Total size (bytes): 0 Transferred data size (bytes): 0 Cached data: No Error result: 0x800c0005 Error constant: INET_E_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND Error description: The server or proxy was not found Extended error result: 0x7a Extended error description: The data area passed to a system call is too small. As you can see, it looks like nothing is being sent. Now this only happens on IE7 but not other browsers, with IE8 there is a small delay but still works. The same request works fine when the URL string is relatively small. Now I need this working on IE7 for compatibility reasons and I cannot find workarounds for this so any help is greatly appreciated. The actual ajax call is like this: $("ID").load("url?lotsofparams",callbac func(){}); "lotsofparams" can vary, sometimes being small or very large. It's when the string is very large that I get the above error for IE7 only.

Executing a process in windows server 2003 and ii6 from code - permissions error

I have a problem executing a process from our testing server. On my localhost using windows XP and iis5.1 I changed the machine.config file to have the line - I then changed the login for iis to log on as local system account and allow server to interact with desktop. This fixed my problem executing a process from code in xp. When using the same method on windows server 2003 (using iis6 isolation mode) the process does not get executed. My web application menu isn't showing in any browser I use to test. I looked around and checked out if it wasn't the z-index bug mentioned here, that seems to have caused some trouble to many people.
