  • using a batch file, how can i delete all files not in the windows dir?

    i have a litle project for which i would like to remove all files outside of and not needed by the c:\windows operating system. therefore i need to create a list of what i want to keep i.e. boot.ini c:\windows etc and then delete everything else. i have seen examples using forFile, but i can be sure that extension will be on the machine. does anyone have any ideas how i can create the exclude list and then do the delete?

  • Win2k8R2 is not showing file/product version info of .so files

    Hi All I am not able to see the product/file version information, copyright information of ".so" files in Win2k8-R2. I am logged in as administrator. If i rename the same file to have it extension to some other ie. ".dll" or ".txt", then i am able to see all the information (file/version info, copyright info). Is it expected for Win2k8-R2. Is it documented somewhere?? Any help will be appreciated

  • Unable to use getInt() but able to use getString() for a sqlite database

    I am using a cursor to access a sqlite database I have in my app. I am having trouble using the .getInt() on my database. My database is pre-created, and I have a few cursors that perform queries to interface with the information. Several of the columns in one of the tables are set as INTEGER type. I realize that sqlite has no built in check to make sure columns are indeed INT. However, when retrieving the data, I can use the .getString() function without any issues, but calling .getInt() causes the app to crash. Below is the relevant code. If I am missing anything, please let me know, and I'll add it in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. For example, if I type in example.com/main, I get the file at www.example.com/main.php. How do I get the .php extension if the code tells the rewriting to stop after adding the www. to the beginning of example.com?

    I am able to build the shared object successfully using the holy native compiler "xlc" on AIX.It does build the shared object library but does not install the shared object library. Configure command is: ./configure --prefix=/PATH/to/install --exec-prefix=/PATH/to/install --enable-shared --enable-static=no --enable-module=so --build=powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0 --host=powerpc-ibm-aix5.3.0.0 LDFLAGS="-G -shared" Any help would be appreciated?

  • Render dropdown as text for particular action in ASP.NET MVC

    I have a partial view that I use for editing and creating my models. When a user is editing the model, I would like a particular drop-down to be rendered as text as I don't want them to change it. A read-only drop-down would suffice, but I'd prefer text. I'm considering a separate tool application to be written in C# which would contain winform-based dialogs. putting some of those dialogs in a separate DLL would be useful as I'd hope to be able to use them from my C++ app. But I have no idea how much messing about is needed to accomplish this, is it particularly easy?

  • How to delete "-" file from svn?

    Accidentally I have created file "-" (just a minus) in a directory and commited it. I have to delete it because its causing error on other machines: svn: Can't convert string from 'UTF-8' to native encoding: svn: ?\226?\128?\147 I can remove it from local directory using "rm -i *" or with python "os.remove('\xe2\x80\x93')" but those methods do not work with "svn rm". How to delete such file from svn repository?

  • IPhone geo tagging data (SQLite or CoreData)

    Hi. I'm about to build an app that has a database of places that has a location (lon/lat) and i'm about to build the dataModel. Actualy the app is very simple and all i want is to be able to fetch all places around the user (say in a radius of 30miles). Is it better to user SQLite (is there any geo-spatial extension out there)? I'll have around 5000 places in the database and i'm wondering where i can ask a database without affecting performances.
