  • ASP.NET MVC subdomain shows folder name

    Hi, I'm using godaddy shared hosting, with IIS7, Integrated mode, and published up a bog standard MVC2 app to dev.lazygekko.com created with Visual Web Developer 2010. It all works, however when any of the links are clicked, they point to dev.lazygekko.com/dev/..., dev being the folder it is pointing at. Can anyone shed some light on what I may be doing wrong?     HI One of my requirement is to have prefix on all the tables of the django based project (Because db is hosted on shared server). I have used db_table Meta option to set the prefix for the tables which I have created. Now my query is how do I set the prefix for tables provided by django.contrib. Instead of auth_group django should create prefix_auth_group.... How do I do that? Thank you very much...

  • Rewrite only URLs that don't exist

    I'm looking for a way to rewrite URLs only if the path doesn't exist. This isn't to handle 404s, but to redirect page URLs to a shared PHP file (ie: '/contact-us/' - '/show_page.php?page=contact-us'). The basic redirect is easy enough to achieve, however I want to be able to override the default page by adding '/contact-us/index.php' in the site root. Is this achievable with mod_rewrite or would I have to do something else?

    Quick and simple question. There are examples online about achieving in-memory gzip compression with zlib (C++) WITHOUT external libraries (like boost or such)? I just need to compress and decompress a block of data without much options.     Due to some restrictions I am being forced to load a library written in C at runtime. A third party provides two library to me as static archives which we turn into shared objects. The application I'm working with loads one of the libraries at runtime based on some hardware parameters. Unfortunately one of the libraries is configured largely with global variables. I am already using dlsym to load function references but can I used dlsym to load references to these global variables as well?

  • About the armlink behavior when the linked object is not explicitly used by the main executable

    I want to link the example with liba.so, and also the example is NOT using anything inside the liba.so ... armlink --userlibpath /mylib/lib liba.so --fpic --shared -o example main.o demo.o So finally I got nothing from: readelf -d example | grep NEEDED, it seems that armlink do some optimization to remove the linked library which is not really used by the "example" ? If I want to let the liba.so be always linked into example, what need I do with armlink options ? Any information is very appreciated ;)

I have read after installation the libs gets extracted to /data/data/application_package/lib How can I get the exact path to this directory in my application at run time? Is this directory readable by the application? Or is only executeable access allowed? If it is readable - Is this still true for copy protected applications?

  • Force RAID to read "exiled" disk?

    We have a RAID 6 array (Infortrend EonStor DS S16F) that recently had two disks fail. Immediately prior to replacing these two disks, a third, good, disk was accidentally ejected from the array. After reinserting this disk it is marked as "exiled" by the array's firmware, and so even after replacing the two failed disks with new ones the array refuses to rebuild the logical volume and remains inaccessible. Since the temporarily-ejected disk is still functional and nothing has been written to the array since it was ejected, it seems that it should theoretically be possible to recover all the data on the array, but how can we convince the array to use the data from the "exiled" disk? Thanks for any help or advice you can offer.

  • Cannot log to Proxmox GUI

    I'm running proxmox on debian 6.0.8 kernel 2.6.32-18-pve. When I try to log into the GUI with the root password, it lets me in for about 2 seconds then asks for the password again: <hostname>:8006/api2/json/cluster/resources 401 (permission denied - invalid ticket) This is not the same behavior as when I give an incorrect password. I suspect a hostname problem, but I can't sort it out. My /etc/hosts contains the following line: <ip> <shorthostname> <longhostname> pvelocalhost The folder /etc/pve/nodes contains a folder name The https certificates matches the hostname. Any idea?   • Make vmware virtual machine from HDD with bad sectros

    I have a notebook with a bad HDD (it has bad sectors). I would like make a virtual disk with VMware workstation from this computer. I installed VMware Workstation & VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client on this notebook, then I used virtualize a physical machine. It started procedure but at 38% I got this error: FAILED: An error occurred during the conversion: 'BlockLevelVolumeCloneMgr::CloneVolume: Detected a write error during the cloning of volume \WindowsBitmapDriverVolumeId=[39-06-3A-06-00-02-13-4C-1D-00-00-00]. Error: 209 (type: 1, code: 13)' I Googled it and I think it means that I have bad sectors on the HDD. How can I solve this problem and make a virtual machine from HDD with bad sectors?

  • Can't boot up computer windows 8 installation

    I wanted to install Windows 8 with a volume partition and when the Windows 8 was installing it rebooted and it gave me an error: The digital signature for this file couldn't be verified. File :windows \system 32\winload.exe error code 0xc0000428. I have tried bootec commands and they didn't seem to fix it. Also my Windows 7 got deleted and I only have to boot with the Windows 8 error, so I can't do anything not even boot to safe mode. I have tried to install Windows 8 from disk later on and it won't let me because it keeps rebooting and starting the installation again, so I took off the disk before it rebooted and it takes me to that error again. Remember that's my only boot option so I'm stuck in the installation disk.
