  • Latex: index of symbols

    I want to create an index of symbols or notation, similar to the usual index one obtains with makeindex. I have gotten this to work, using the glossaries package. However, just as in the usual index, I would like to get two columns in the index of symbols, while glossaries puts everything under each other. Commands like twocolumn or multicol also do not work, because then the second column starts higher than the first, above the title of the index of symbols. Any suggestions?

  • excel turning my numbers to floats

    Hello, i have a bit of asp.net code that exports data in a datagrid into excel but i noticed that it messes up a particular field when exporting. eg .. i have the value of something like 89234010000725515875 in a column in the datagrid but when exported, it turns it into 89234+19. Is there any excel formatting that will bring back my original number? thanks

A user would be clicking on a computer, and then it will display the computer stats/atached devices/etc. The new gridviews are going to need a column from the row that was selected, how do I get that?     Is there any way I can specify that some columns in a DataTable will not be automatically bound to a DataGridView when I set the DataSource property of the DataGridView to the DataTable. For example, if I have a DataTable with columns as "Id, Name" then can I specify that Id column will not be shown in DataGridView? I know I can set some Visible property in DataGridView after it is bound, but can I specify in the DataTable/DataColumn itself?

I have three different types of permissions like Admin, Leads, Programmers. These all three will have access to the gridview. Except admin if anyone tries to edit the gridview on clicking the edit option, I need to give an alert like This row has important validation and make sure you make proper changes. When I edit, the action with happen on table called Application. The table has a column called Comments.     When I read a sheet into a DataTable using the OleDbDataReader, floating point numbers loose their precision. I tried forcing OleDb to read the excel data as string, but although the data is now contained in a DataRow with each Column defined as System.String it looses precision (18.125 - 18.124962832). Any idea how to avoid this behaviour?
