    I communicate with the client using various tools such as MS Outlook,Mailing through Google/ Yahoo accounts, sending Word or Excel documents as attachments through this mail. What I am looking at is there any tool which will help me in binding all these documents so that I may be able to virtually bind all these documents of a particular client. For example all these documents were sent to Client A 2 Outlook mails without attachment 2 Web mails with MS-Word attachment 1 Web Mail with Excel attachment Now I wish I had a document which would bind the Outlook mail bodies as text files MS-Word documents Excel document Previous versions of MS-Office had Office Binder. Is there something similar to this Thanx.

  • Compiling C++ code with mingw under 12.04

    I tried to setting up compiling of the C++ projects under my Ubuntu 12.04 by mingw with QT libraries. The idea was to get executable independent from variations of target Windows versions and development environments of my colleagues. It was successfully implemented under OpenSuse 12.2 with mingw32 and some additional libraries including mingw32-libqt4 and some others. Fine. However when trying to do the same under Ubuntu 12.04 with mingw-w64 including latest libraries QT-4.8.3 copied from Windows there were always errors. No luck. The typical errors in these attempts can be seen in attachments. The commands used: qmake -spec /path_to_my_conf/win32-x-g++ my_project.pro make Can someone give a hint of the problem source? I would appreciate a good advice.   • OWA (Outlook Web Access) won't give user a link to attached document. Gives "Open as Web Page"

    I have been testing OWA and have found that when there is an attached file on a message it shows the "Attachments:" then the file name (but no link) and then [Open as Web Page] link. The user has to click on that which opens a new window and previews the document, then the user gets "You are currently viewing:" followed by the file name. This time the file name is a link that they can open/download. This happens for Office documents and PDF file at least. How do I make it so users can get a direct link to the file on the original message window?

    Recently, I came across an issue where I had to change the size limit for WorkItem Attachments in TFS 2010. I searched all around the internet only to find very little information around it which wasn’t clear honestly. So after breaking my head for sometime, I was successful in doing it. Here are my conclusions and the procedure to do it. 1. You DON’T 'have to' programmatically change it. You can do it directly from IIS webservices. 2. You CAN change it programmatically too, by making an entry into TFS Registry using a small piece of code. Let me show you how it is done from IIS. This is to change the size of attachment to your required value for workItems in TFS 2010 for each collection individually. You must be a TFS Admin to do this ( Login with setup account ) Browse to /WorkItemTracking/v1.0/ConfigurationSettingsService.asmx">/WorkItemTracking/v1.0/ConfigurationSettingsService.asmx">/WorkItemTracking/v1.0/ConfigurationSettingsService.asmx">http://localhost:8080/tfs/<YOUR-COLLECTION-NAME>/WorkItemTracking/v1.0/ConfigurationSettingsService.asmx You’ll see 3 asmx services – GetMaxAttachmentSize, GetWorkItemTrackingVersion and SetMaxAttachmentSize. 4.   • Accomplishment Viewer not displaying Ask Ubuntu badges

    I've downloaded the new Ubuntu Accomplishment viewer. I've read and seen pictures of the program combining with AU badges. However, mine doesn't show anything other than the initial Trophies. I've set up my identity with my launcpad email, and I've gone to File/Check Accomplishments and it still doesn't show any of the AU items. Is there something extra I have to do to get this program to work with AU?

    Everybody was beginner once and I always like to get involved in the questions from beginners. There is a big difference between the question from beginner and question from advanced user. I have noticed that if an advanced user gets an error, they usually need just a small hint to resolve the problem. However, when a beginner gets error he sometimes sits on the error for a long time as he/she has no idea about how to solve the problem as well have no idea regarding what is the capability of the product. I recently received a very novice level question. When I received the problem I quickly see how the user was stuck. When I replied him with the solution, he wrote a long email explaining how he was not able to solve the problem. He thanked multiple times in the email. This whole thing inspired me to write this quick blog post. I have modified the user’s question to match the code with AdventureWorks as well simplified so it contains the core content which I wanted to discuss. Problem Statement: Find all the details of SalesOrderHeaders for the latest ShipDate. He comes up with following T-SQL Query: SELECT * FROM [Sales].[SalesOrderHeader] WHERE ShipDate = MAX(ShipDate) GO When he executed above script it gave him following error: Msg 147, Level 15, State 1, Line 3 An aggregate may not appear in the WHERE clause unless it is in a subquery contained in a HAVING clause or a select list, and the column being aggregated is an outer reference. He was not able to resolve this problem, even though the solution was given in the query description itself. Due to lack of experience he came up with another version of above query based on the error message. SELECT * FROM [Sales].[SalesOrderHeader] HAVING ShipDate = MAX(ShipDate) GO When he ran above query it produced another error. Msg 8121, Level 16, State 1, Line 3 Column ‘Sales.SalesOrderHeader.ShipDate’ is invalid in the HAVING clause because it is not contained in either an aggregate function or the GROUP BY clause. What he wanted actually was the SalesOrderHeader all the Sales shipped on the last day. Based on the problem statement what the right solution is as following, which does not generate error. SELECT * FROM [Sales].[SalesOrderHeader] WHERE ShipDate = (SELECT MAX(ShipDate) FROM [Sales].[SalesOrderHeader]) Well, that’s it! Very simple. When I go to the "Online-accounts" dialog and open the Empathy options dialog in the Facebook tab this shows up: Identification is blank and can't be edited Alias is blank, but can be edited A notification saying "Go online to edit your personal data" is visible I've tried logging into Facebook using my email address AND my username, both with the same results.

When I click an email, its downloaded from the server.
