Simple question. I'm new to Clojure.
How can I use one file from my project in another file? Basically how can I include, import, or require another file?
Thanks,
Alex
The question says it all. I want to paste a file from the clipboard that has been copied from a compress folder using VB.net. By examining the clipboard, I see there is a FileGroupDescriptorW which seems to contain some information about the file. But I have not found how to use the information to grab the file and paste it.
I heard that the Task Parallel Library can be used in a .Net 3.5 project. Is this correct, and if yes, how do I use it? In .Net 4.0, it resides in System.Threading, but when I select .Net 3.5 as the target in Visual Studio 2010, I don't get access to classes like Parallel and the Parallel loops.
I need an open source project with an API
capable of reading a live video stream (stream codec can be any API can read - I can provide with practically any live streamable one)
giving me last image data for some processing (like brightness\contrast or more exotic filtering)
being able to receive data I've changed and starting to stream that data on to some http://localhost:port/ in some format
I need it to be easily accessible from C# (even better, written in C#).
Hi all,
Whenever I switch working sets in the project explorer, the working set does not switch for the search and call hierarchy views, so I end up with search results from the wrong working set if I forget to switch those over manually.
Is there a shortcut for switching working sets in all those tools simultaneously?
Thanks!
hi guys,
i'm starting to learn TDD, Unit-testing on asp.net mvc and i'm trying to pickup all these mocking via MOQ.
so i'm looking for any good asp.net mvc projects which source codes are made available to mere mortals like me :)
i've found some good asp.net mvc source codes but not those that uses MOQ specifically.
the asp.net mvc source code
code camp server
suteki shop
So does anybody know any good open source asp.net mvc project which have good test/tdd examples using MOQ?
I want to use XCode's editor to maintain some existing JSP, HTML, XML and CSS. Not heavy duty, but I prefer to stay with a familiar editor, keyboard, etc. Is this the right project to start with? If not, which one is better and what type of development is "web start" appropriate for?
I have created an installer project in VS2008 and need to supply a settings/parameters file along with the .msi/exe file; is this possible? The settingsfile will basically contain some information that is needed in the configuration and our different clients can control the settingsfile.
My problem is that a vendor is providing me with a 64bit application (packed in a 64bit installer) but it goes and installs to the x86 (Program Files) Folder and he keeps telling me its OK but I want it to install in the Program Files directory; as the 32 bit version does that and scripts for the app are developed based on this assumption.
Can someone direct me to the Microsoft recommended best practices for 64bit applications(links).
Thanks in advance.
I am very new to using Agile (scrum). we have planned iterations using story points, but have not assigned work (tasks) to all the user stories in the project, just in the iteration coming up. My boss wants to know how much work is left to do...and I don't know because I haven't planned those iterations. Can anyone give me advice or a resource to reference on what I need to do in order to provide him with what he needs?
if i m developing project that is performing concurrent update delete and insert operation on database then is it possible to user linq instead of storeprocedure, which will be more benifitial?

When your vs.net project is type website, what's the namespace/dll you reference in your handler web.config setting?
you normally have to do:
"YourNameSpace.Class, Class"
I am using Visual Studio 2008 professional, C#. I found the App.config file is copied into the bin\debug and bin\release folder. Is that by default? I thought the XXX.exe.config file will be the only configuration file for a project.
Is it safe to release our applicaion without the App.config?
if yes, how to ask VS2008 to stop copy that file after build?
thanks
I'm new to Python 3 and so far it seems like a decent language. I really like the string manipulation methods you can use and they are pretty radical. :)
I'm stuck however in thinking of a project to do with Python. Is there a site similar to Coding4Fun but for Python?
Community Wiki because I think this question is really interesting. :D
I am working on a large C++ project in Visual Studio 2008, and there are a lot of files with unnecessary #include's. Sometimes the #include's are just artifacts and everything will compile fine with them removed, and in other cases classes could be forward declared and the #include could be moved to the .cpp file. Are there any good tools for detecting both of these cases?
