  I'm on Mac OS X 10.5.8 running Flash Player 10,0,32,18. Flash Player is dumping giant amounts of error logging into the system log (stuff like "bit length overflow" and "code 0 bits 6-7"). P.S.: I installed wxWidgets through wxPack wich afaik comes with everything precomplied and i also added the wxWidgets directory to Global variables-base in Code::Blocks so everything should be correctly set, right?

  Hi, It should be possible to add a code behind file for a resource dictionary in Silverlight, but I keep getting the same error, thrown from the InitializeComponent method of my App.xaml constructor: XamlParseException: AG_E_PARSER_BAD_TYPE.   I've just finished my first ASP.NET MVC (2) CMS. Next step is to build website that will show data from CMS's database. This is website design: #1 (Red box) - displays article categories. Uses the same ViewModel as brown box #2 #4 (blue box) - Displays list of upcoming events. Uses dataContext.Model.Event as ViewModel Boxes #1, #2 and #4 will repeat all over the site and they are part of Master Page. So, my question is: what is the best way to transfer this data from Model to Controller and finally to View pages? Should I make a controller for master page and ViewModel class that will wrap all this classes together OR Should I create partial Views for every of these boxes and make each of them inherit appropriate class (if it is even possible that it works this way?) OR Should I put this repeated code in all controllers and all additional data transfer via ViewData, which would be probably the worse way :) OR There is maybe a better and more simple way but I don't know/see it?   Is there any way to indicate to ReSharper that a null reference won't occur because of Design-by-Contract Requires checking? For example, the following code will raise the warning (Possible 'null' assignment to entity marked with 'NotNull' attribute) in ReSharper on lines 7 and 8: private Dictionary<string, string> _Lookup = new Dictionary<string, string>(); public void Foo(string s) { Contract.Requires(!String.IsNullOrEmpty(s)); if (_Lookup.ContainsKey(s)) _Lookup.Remove(s); } What is really odd is that if you remove the Contract.Requires(...) line, the ReSharper message goes away. Update I found the solution through ExternalAnnotations which was also mentioned by Mike below. Here's an example of how to do it for a function in Microsoft.Contracts: Create a directory called Microsoft.Contracts under the ExternalAnnotations ReSharper directory.   I have a circular dependency in my code, and I'm not sure how to resolve it. I am developing a game. A NPC has three components, responsible for thinking, sensing, and acting. These components need access to the NPC controller to get access to its model, but the controller needs these components to do anything. Thus, both take each other as arguments in their constructors. ISenseNPC sense = new DefaultSenseNPC(controller, worldQueryEngine); IThinkNPC think = new DefaultThinkNPC(sense); IActNPC act = new DefaultActNPC(combatEngine, sense, controller); controller = new ControllerNPC(act, think); (The above example has the parameter simplified a bit.) Without act and think, controller can't do anything, so I don't want to allow it to be initialized without them. The reverse is basically true as well. What should I do?   In our application, we have some forms which need to show some data specifically if the current user has a specific permission level. These users belong to an SPGroup which includes users who should not see this data, so in this particular case I cannot filter based off of group membership. My current solution has been to use web.CurrentUser.Roles and use a simple check on whether it contains a permission level of the correct name. Roles is of the deprecated SPRole class, so I am bombarded with warning messages despite the fact it technically works. It suggests that I use SPRoleAssignment or SPRoleDefinition (the recommendation seems arbitrary since some lines recommend one while others recommend the other even though it is being used for the same thing). However, I cannot seem to find any method to directly retrieve an SPRoleAssignment or SPRoleDefinition object from an SPUser or SPPrincipal object, nor can I retrieve either object corresponding specifically to the current user of the SPWeb object. How can I update these methods to use non-deprecated code? I've found other cases of determining user permissions, but I haven't found one that will work from a starting point of the current web or the current user. It's not urgent, but it certainly is helpful to avoid having to sift through all of those warnings just to reach the more important warnings.

• Problem merging similar XML files with XSL

  I have two documents that I need to merge, that happen in a way that I don't seem to be able to find covered in other examples. Namely, that it needs to match not only on a node's attribute at one level, but also on the value of an attribute a node level below that, to get that node's value.
