    Doesn't prepare() escape any quotes(') in a PDO statement? For some reason when I do this: $sql = "INSERT INTO sessions (id, name) VALUES (1,'O'brian')"; $query = $this->connection->prepare($sql); $query->execute(); I get this error: Could not insert record SQLSTATE[42000]: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near 'brian'. How could this be if I'm using prepare()?

  • Disable iOS keyboard (don't show it at all) in phonegap

    If I were writing a native app I would try the solution given here which says: Try to implement the following method in text view's delegate: - (BOOL)textViewShouldBeginEditing:(UITextView *)textView{ return NO; } Unfortunately I need to use phonegap, so I don't have a text view to manipulate. It would be great if I could permanently suppress the keyboard in this app. We've got some custom on screen keyboard that people are supposed to use instead. So, any idea how to disable the popup keyboard completely?

    So I have a couple of dynamically created tablerows.Each TableRow has a couple of Textviews.I have a button that on clicked should get all the values of the second and third textviews in each Tablerow in the Table.   • How do you prevent a Hudson slave from archiving artifacts?

    It turns out our slaves spend a considerable amount of time moving the archived artifacts back to the master Hudson node. It at least triples the duration of the build. It would be nice if there would be a way to prevent it. However, setting the maximum number of builds to keep doesn't have an influence at all. Is there another way to prevent sending the results back to the central Hudson master?

  • Unable to use getInt() but able to use getString() for a sqlite database

    I am using a cursor to access a sqlite database I have in my app. I am having trouble using the .getInt() on my database. My database is pre-created, and I have a few cursors that perform queries to interface with the information. Several of the columns in one of the tables are set as INTEGER type. I realize that sqlite has no built in check to make sure columns are indeed INT. However, when retrieving the data, I can use the .getString() function without any issues, but calling .getInt() causes the app to crash. Below is the relevant code. If I am missing anything, please let me know, and I'll add it in. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.   • Creating a C# DLL and using it from unmanaged C++

    I have a native (unmanaged) C++ application (using wxWidgets for what it's worth). I'm considering a separate tool application to be written in C# which would contain winform-based dialogs. putting some of those dialogs in a separate DLL would be useful as I'd hope to be able to use them from my C++ app. But I have no idea how much messing about is needed to accomplish this, is it particularly easy?
