    I want to be able to create a python decorator that automatically "registers" class methods in a global repository (with some properties). Example code: class my_class(object): @register(prop1,prop2) def my_method( arg1,arg2 ): # method code here... @register(prop3,prop4) def my_other_method( arg1,arg2 ): # method code here... I want that when loading is done, somewhere there will be a dict containing: { "my_class.my_method" : ( prop1, prop2 ) "my_class.my_other_method" : ( prop3, prop4 ) } Is this possible?

There is a count method but it takes a Func. If I don't pass a Func paremeter, I could get all the properties in the collection, but how could I not pass one in? Thanks

As of now I am pulling in the 20K products, looping through them and modifying some properties and then updating the database. so: load products foreach products session begintransaction productDao.MakePersistant(p); session commit(); As of now things are pretty slow compared to your standard jdbc, what can I do to speed things up? I am sure I am doing something wrong here.

    Hi all, with <property name="hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto">update</property> i can create my database schema, it automatically add properties, constraint, key etc... But what about UPDATE the database schema? If i remove some property from my entities, hibernate doesn't remove it, or if i change some constraint, hibernate doesn't touch constraint already created... So, there is a way to make hibernate really update the database schema? Thanks.

I don't want to constantly poll the object to check for new properties. Is there some type of higher level setter for objects instead of explicitly stating the property to monitor?   • My textarea won't accept any width attributes.

    Hi, for some odd reason the text area I have in my site won't accept the width I tell it to, I've tried to select it three times in the CSS just to make sure! Here is a jsfiddle example that shows what I want, and here is the page where it doesn't want to work. I have searched through the CSS to find any conflicting textarea properties, but there are none.   • Print over the internet from a remote linux session locally (on a Windows 7 machine) to the shared printers?

    I'm trying to use a linux virtual machine as a file server for windows clients. I have successfully implemented remote file sharing (samba+ssh) with which I am able to print locally with a little program that I made for this purpose (jetforms style)... but I would like to hear about a somewhat more direct approach. How can I attach the printers to the server, so that I can for example open a file on the remote session and in the print dialogbox I would see my local printers (on the machine from which I have established a remote session)? I guess there should be some kind of putty tunneling, but dont know how. I have a windows 7 machine locally; there is a CentOS 6 VM over the internet. It has ssh, cups, and samba. I have found a question which asks the opposite: there is a windows based server to connect form linux but that windows has a domain, mine is just a simple windows workstation that is behind NAT and has a dynamic IP. That question is: Print from Linux to Windows networked printer.

    I working on a project in Obj-C where i have a base class (ViewController) and a Derived Class (MultiPlayer). Now i have declared certain variables and properties in the base class. My properties are getting accessed from the derived class but im not able to access the variables (int,char and bool type). I'm completely new to Obj-C so i have no clue whats wrong. I have used the data types which are used in C and C++. Is there some specific way to declare variables in Obj-C?? If so, How?   • Setting XTick or XLabels for a plot containing millisecond data

    I am trying to set the X-Axis labels on a plot. I have a vector of times, these go down to the millisecond level. I have tried setting both XTick and XTickLabel properties but things are not working correctly (labels are not valid). Any suggestions on what one needs to do to get datetick to work when working with times that go down to the second/millisecond level? Are there any alternatives to using datetick? Any suggestions are appreciated.
