  • Is there any analog of TCPvcon which allows to close TCP connection on remote machine?

    Hi, I started to use SysInternals suite, and it is great. But I wonder, whether there is any analog of TCPvcon, which allows to logon to remote machine, like psexec does, and then get list of TCP connections from there (similar to pslist functionality), and then to close some of connections (similar to pskill functionality). I am speaking about windows console tools and I would like to avoid installing something on remote machine is this is possible.

    I have just implemented the Sphinx Storage Engine, and created my first Sphinx table, I'm trying to convert from using my Fulltext MyISAM table, so I figured I would just dump all the data into a sphinx table.. obviously I was wrong.   • 50 million+ Rows of Data - CSV or MySQL

    Hello, I have a CSV file which is about 1GB big and contains about 50million rows of data, I am wondering is it better to keep it as a CSV file or store it as some form of a database. I don't know a great deal about MySQL to argue for why I should use it or another database framework over just keeping it as a CSV file. I am basically doing a Breadth-First Search with this dataset, so once I get the initial "seed" set the 50million I use this as the first values in my queue. Thanks,

    I am trying to convert this native sql into an HQL query. Basically it returns all the contacts that are duplicates (by company, firstname, and lastname). The query below works great, but performing a joined subselect seems impossible in HQL is it not?! This works great on my local machine but when I transfer my xap to our server it is as if the xap had not been signed. Am I missing something that I need to do on the server to allow this to work?     At one point while traveling the web, I came across a great page which contrasted the clarity and terseness of different methods of doing a sequence of operations without having to make a bunch of throwaway variables, e.g., Var1, Var2, Var3. It tried list comprehensions, folds, maps, etc. For some reason, now matter what I google, I can't find it again. Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Or want to explore the topic anyway?

    I have a script that generates two lines as output each time. I'm really just interested in the second line. Moreover I'm only interested in the text that appears between a pair of #'s on the second line. Additionally, between the hashes, another delimiter is used: ^A. It would be great if I can also break apart each part of text that is ^A-delimited (Note that ^A is SOH special character and can be typed by using Ctrl-A)

    I've looked around a bit for a great JavaScript Sprite Sheet animator lib/engine but couldn't find any good ones so I thought I'd ask around =). What I'm looking for in the engine is: Animate an image in a non-canvas setting (ex: div via css or img tags) Control frame rate/animation speed Flags to loop or to animate once etc. Are there any engines like this out there? If not I can always make my own but then again, I don't want to re-invent the wheel =].

    The default Notes app on the iPad is fine for my note taking needs. I see how it syncs through iTunes to Mail, but if one doesn't use Mail for e-mail management, is there any other way to sync and view the iPad notes on the desktop? (We use Eudora for mail management, and Apple's Mail is not great if all you want to do is view your notes with it.)

  • Persisting a context menu after screen rotation

I have an activity that on it's onCreate method it does: registerForContextMenu(theView); and in onCreateContextMenu: super.onCreateContextMenu(menu, v, menuInfo); menu.add(blablabla); This works great, but the problem is that the context menu disappears when the screen rotates.
