  How can I use a TEnumerator to go through my TDictionary in sorted order by key?   My code works for ORs as I've listed it below but I want to use AND instead of OR and it fails. I'm not quite sure what I'm doing wrong. Basically I have a Linq query that searches on multiple fields in an XML file. The search fields might not all have information. Each element runs the extension method, and tests the equality.   Hi everyone, I've got a problem with using for xml explicit in SQL Server 2000 (so I can't use the new path() stuff from sql 2005/8) Essentially I have two tables and the XML structure I want to have is <xml> <table_1 field1="foo" field2="foobar2" field3="foobar3"> <a_row_from_table_2 field1="goo" field2="goobar2" field3="goobar3" /> <a_row_from_table_2 field1="hoo" field2="hoobar2" field3="hoobar3" /> </table_1> </xml> That is, table_1 has a one-to-many relationship with table_2, and I want to make a hierarchy of it. So far I can't seem to get it, the closest I've managed to get is all the records from table1, with all the records from table2 appended to the very last element of table1 Any help with setting up this kind of relationship would be greatly appreciated. -Marcin

  I program mostly in scala and java, using scalatest in scala and junit for unit testing. I would like to apply the very same tests to several implementations of the same interface/trait. The idea is to verify that the interface contract is enforced and to check Liskov substitution principle. For instance, when testing implementations of lists, tests could include: An instance should be empty, if and only if and only if it has zero size. After calling clear, the size sould be zero. Adding an element in the middle of a list, will increment by one the index of rhs elements. etc. What are the best practices ?

  I am trying to synchronize the horizontal scroll position of 2 WPF DataGrid controls. I am subscribing to the ScrollChanged event of the first DataGrid: <toolkit:DataGrid x:Name="SourceGrid" ScrollViewer.ScrollChanged="SourceGrid_ScrollChanged"> I have a second DataGrid: <toolkit:DataGrid x:Name="TargetGrid"> In the event handler I was attempting to use the IScrollInfo.SetHorizontalOffset, but alas, DataGrid doesn't expose IScrollInfo: private void SourceGrid_ScrollChanged(object sender, ScrollChangedEventArgs e) { ((IScrollInfo)TargetGrid).SetHorizontalOffset(e.HorizontalOffset); // cast to IScrollInfo fails } Is there another way to accomplish this? Or is there another element on TargetGrid that exposes the necessary IScrollInfo to achieve the synchronization of the scroll positions? BTW, I am using frozen columns, so I cannot wrap both DataGrid controls with ScrollViewers.

  I've a jQuery plug-in that operates on some ULs, adding and removing classes etc. During the life-cycle of the page, I'll need to add/ remove some classes in code, and as my plug-in needs to perform some additional operations when this happens I came up with the following: // This is the initialiser method... $.fn.objectBuilder = function (options) {...}; // These are the two new methods I need. $.fn.objectBuilder.setSelected(element) {...}; $.fn.objectBuilder.removeSelected() {...}; I'd then like to call them like this: $("#ob1").objectbuilder.removeSelected(); Any thoughts? • What is the `name` keyword in JavaScript?

  When I typed this apparently innocent snippet of code: values.name gedit highlighted name as a keyword. However, name is not listed by the pages linked to by an answer to a question about reserved keywords. I also did a couple trivial tests in SpiderMonkey, but name seemed to act like an ordinary identifier. A Google search didn't tell me much either. However, I did find a page listing name in "Other JavaScript Keywords". My guess is that name is a function or a member of some DOM element and does not intrude on the namespace. Is name really a keyword in JavaScript? If so, what does it do?

• Problems with animateAlong in IE7

  Hi there, I'm having trouble making a simple shape move along a path in IE7 (the only version of IE I tried, actually). The following code works fine in chrome and firefox, but not IE. I couldn't find an obvious reason, has anybody seen something similar? canvas.path(rPath.path).attr("stroke", "blue"); var circle = canvas.circle(rPath.startX, rPath.startY, 5); circle.animateAlong(rPath.path, 3000, true); My rPath variable has the path and the starting point coordinates. • Flex Validator -- Show Red Error Border on DataGrid Cell

  I can successfully add a validator on an item in my datagrid, by passing in the particular element in the dataProvider to the validator, but I can't get the red border to show up around the cell if the validation fails. I have stepped through the validator, and confirmed that it is passing back a failure, but I can't figure out why the red error border doesn't show up. I have a feeling its because I am passing the item in my dataProvider as the validator source, rather than the 'cell' item, but I can't find a way to access the cell. Thanks.

In my own module I alter each node form an add my own validation handler to it using $form['#validate'][] = 'my_own_validation_function'; Then I have the function function my_own_validation_function($form, &$form_state) { //if validation fails, i would like to rebuild the form to add additional form elements in hook_form_alter $form_state['rebuild'] = True; } My problem ist, that the validation functions does not respect my 'rebuild' = True becaus the form is never processed by hook_form_alter after validation. But I need hook_form_alter to add my additional form element. Is there a solution for my problem? Or are form_state changes in an own validation handler not respected even if I set &$form_state as a "pointer"? Thanks and cheers.

  I'm in the process of styling an asp.net menu and I'm trying to understand the meaning of the StaticSelectedStyle-CssClass and StaticHoverStyle-CssClass parameters. My understanding is that the styles defined with these parameters are applied as CSS classes to the relevant elements, whenever needed. So I created my menu as follows: <asp:Menu ID="NavigationMenu" DataSourceID="NavigationSiteMapDataSource" StaticMenuStyle-CssClass="StaticMenuStyle" StaticMenuItemStyle-CssClass="StaticMenuItemStyle" StaticSelectedStyle-CssClass="StaticSelectedStyle" StaticHoverStyle-CssClass="StaticHoverStyle" Orientation="Horizontal" MaximumDynamicDisplayLevels="0" runat="server"> </asp:Menu> It works for StaticMenuStyle-CssClass and StaticMenuStyle-CssClass (the classes are applied to the relevant elements), but StaticSelectedStyle-CssClass and StaticHoverStyle-CssClass are not applied, regardless of the selected or hover status of an element. For instance, given an input like the following abc 123 The parser thinks that the number of child of node "books" is 3, they are: - text node (containing the char between and - element node of "book" - text node (containing the char between and Question is how do I tell LibXML to ignore whitespaces?   Hi there, I've got a question about a Silverlight WCF Databinding pattern: There are many examples about how to bind data using {Binding} expressions in XAML, how to make async calls to a WCF service, set the DataContext property of a element in the UI, how to use ObservableCollections and INotifyPropertyChanged, INotifyCollectionChanged and so on. Background: I'm using the MVVM pattern, and have a Silverlight ItemsControl, whose ItemsSource is set to an ObservableCollection property on my ViewModel object. My view is of course the XAML which has the {Binding}. Say the model object is called 'Metric'. My ViewModel periodically makes calls to a WCF service that returns ObservableCollection. MetricInfo is the data transfer object (DTO). My question is two-fold: Is there any way to avoid copying each property of MetricInfo to the model class - Metric? When the WCF calls completes, is there any way to make sure I sync the items which are in both my local ObservableCollection and the result of the WCF call - without having to first clear out all the items in the local collection and then add all the ones from the WCF call result? thanks, Krishna

• (VB.NET + WPF) Drag + Drop (to allow user sorting) of stackpanel elements within a Scrollviewer?

  I have good model (I think!) for how to allow a user to drag an element in a stackpanel and reposition it to another location within the stackpanel. However, my Stackpanel is placed within a ScrollViewer, like this (generalized): <ScrollViewer> <StackPanel> ....First item ....Second item ....Third item ....Etc. </StackPanel> <ScrollViewer> Here is the problem, I wish to simulate the functionality of programs like word, where if I am dragging selected content (or an object) outside the viewable area, the window will scroll in the direction of the mouse to see more places to drop my nifty little object. ...i.e. If I move the mouse to the top of my ScrollViewer while dragging a stackpanel's contents, I want the scrollviewer to slowly move up so I can see more locations to drop my content. Any suggestions? If you can help me solve this, you will be a godsend!

  I've upgraded a FlexBuilder3 project to FlashBuilder4, and I am seeing many compilation errors regarding unsupported tag attributes: The style 'backgroundDisabledColor' is only supported by type 'mx.controls.TextInput' with the theme(s) 'halo' Here is the offending mxml element: <mx:TextInput x="245" y="86" id="code1" maxChars="15" change="enableButton(event)" cornerRadius="9" borderStyle="solid" backgroundDisabledColor="#7977b6" /> ...what is the best workaround for this particular error? I was able to easily resolve a similar error with the "backgroundColor" attribute by changing it to "contentBackgroundColor", and was hoping there was a simple workaround for backgroundDisabledColor as well. I realize I can apply a css style, but I'd rather have a simpler solution as there are many many other attribute errors similar to this one.

• PyOpenGL: glVertexPointer() offset problem

  My vertices are interleaved in a numpy array (dtype = float32) like this: ... tu, tv, nx, ny, nz, vx, vy, vz, ... When rendering, I'm calling gl*Pointer() like this (I have enabled the arrays before): stride = (2 + 3 + 3) * 4 glTexCoordPointer( 2, GL_FLOAT, stride, self.vertArray ) glNormalPointer( GL_FLOAT, stride, self.vertArray + 2 ) glVertexPointer( 3, GL_FLOAT, stride, self.vertArray + 5 ) glDrawElements( GL_TRIANGLES, len( self.indices ), GL_UNSIGNED_SHORT, self.indices ) The result is that nothing renders. However, if I organize my array so that the vertex position is the first element ( ... vx, vy, vz, tu, tv, nx, ny, nz, ... ) I get correct positions for vertices while rendering but texture coords and normals aren't rendered correctly. This leads me to believe that I'm not setting the pointer offset right. How should I set it? I'm using almost the exact same code in my other app in C++ and it works.

  I found this useful regex code here while looking to parse HTML tag attributes: (\S+)=["']?((?:.(?!["']?\s+(?:\S+)=|[>"']))+.)["']? It works great, but it's missing one key element that I need. Some attributes are event triggers that have inline Javascript code in them like this: onclick="doSomething(this, 'foo', 'bar');return false;" Or: onclick='doSomething(this, "foo", "bar");return false;' I can't figure out how to get the original expression to not count the quotes from the JS (single or double) while it's nested inside the set of quotes that contain the attribute's value.

  I'm trying to pull the contents of an RSS feed into an object that can be manipulated in code. It looks like the SyndicationFeed and SyndicationItem classes in .NET 3.5 will do what I need, except for one thing. Every time I've tried to read in the contents of an RSS feed using the SyndicationFeed class, the .Content element for each SyndicationItem is null. I've run my feed through FeedValidator and have tried this with feeds from several other sources, but to no avail. XmlReader xr = XmlReader.Create("http://shortordercode.com/feed/"); SyndicationFeed feed = SyndicationFeed.Load(xr); foreach (SyndicationItem item in feed.Items) { Console.WriteLine(item.Title.Text); Console.WriteLine(item.Content.ToString()); } Console.ReadLine(); I suspect I may just be missing a step somewhere, but I can't seem to find a good tutorial on how to consume RSS feeds using these classes.
