  • detailsView title and description stays the same, not refreshing ...

    I have some values on my tableview coming from database. I simply tap one of them, navigate to detailsView then I can see the title and description of that value on my navigation controller. (title on navigation bar, description on text view in detailsView) but when I wanted to search, I click search bar, keyboard comes up from the bottom, tableview minimizes a bit then find what I want from table. I tap again but titles and descriptions show very first value of my table view .. It does not show the correct title and description. Whenever I searched, it shows the title and description of very first value on my table view..

    Hi, I'm using two UIViewController in Application Delegate and navigating to UIViewController using presentmodalviewcontroller. But Problem is that presentmodalviewcontroller works for first time UIViewController and when i want to navigate to second UIViewController using presentmodalviewcontroller then its showing first UIViewController.   • Simple iOS Get Request Not Pulling in Data

    I have a very simple get request that doesn't return data on my script. The script is fine when viewed in the web browser but the app does not pull in the data. Any other script works with this code in the app. I'm unsure of what to do because there shouldn't be a reason for this to not work. Please let me know if you need more information.   • iPhone SDK: Downloading large files from a server into the app's documents.

    Hi, I am building an app that plays multiple video files, But I would like to know How do you download a video file (100mb - 300mb) from a server into the application's documents so it can later be locally referred to in code? The reason I want this type of a set up in my app is that I don't want the app binary to be made unnecessarily large due to including videos some users may not want. Also does this violate any of apple's terms? Also would it be simple to implement a progress view with this kind of set up and if so how? Any help is appreciated.

    I got this code: GrooveOnDownload *dlg = [[GrooveOnDownload alloc] init]; NSURLDownload *dw = [[NSURLDownload alloc] initWithRequest:request delegate:dlg]; It starts the download in a delegate class with outlets for UI controls. But for some reason controls don't respond to direct messages from the delegate. //Header of the delegate @interface GrooveOnDownload : NSObject { IBOutlet id downloadButton; //... //Implementation //... I am wondering how you ask for permission, and what they mean by the terms "minor features" and "consistent" and how will Apple interpret this section? But how do I call it from another NSViewController. I end up with compilation error.
