    I have learned how to create a simple website with the Zend Framework. Now suppose I want to put it on some web hosting server. In my ZF project, I have a folder named public, which I want to appear as the root of the URL. I want my site to be visible and accessible as http://www.mysite.com while being served from a page like /public/index.phtml or similar. How is this done?

    I need to display uploaded files on a web application, the flow is as follows User uploads file through web UI Validation on image Makes call to imageRepository.store( uploadedImage, user.getSite() ) The user wants the image displayed which adds <img src="${anUploadedImage.getUrl()}"/> but that is where I'm stuck, what can getUrl() do? The simple solution is to put it someplace and let Apache serve the file, but then I can't use the application to ensure that one user isn't modifying the URL to view other users files, which in this case is important

    After I get 3 rows in my forum_threads table this no longer does it's job; to organize a list of active forum threads and put the most recently responded-to thread at the top of the list, followed by second most recent posted-to thread, followed by third, fourth, etc. Like I said, the query works wonders up until there is a fourth row added to forum_threads.     I have a subversion repository with a directory structure: frontend backend + a + b In a other branch, someone had put the sub-folders a and b in the root directory and delete the other stuff (frontend, backend). a b Now i have to merge this branch back into the trunk (backend-folder). How can I do that to dont lose the history from the branches? I use git to access and work with the subversion repository.

    Hi all, I have created a basic chart in VB.NET (VS 2008) and it is working good, but I would like to label the axies of the chart. The method "AxisLabel" is not what I am looking for. I want to put the word "Dollars" vertically on the far left hand side of my chart (just left of the numbers labeling the "y" axis) and the word "Months" horizontally at the bottom of the chart but above the legend (just below the numbers labeling the "x" axis).   • Eclipse: Should I create a workspace for each project ?

    I am simply wondering whether it is best to put all of my Eclipse projects into one workspace, or do a 1 workspace per 1 project. I am just a solo developer, for hobby more or less, but the apps I create do actually have production versions that are running on rather frequent cron jobs, so its almost like an amateur production environment. The only problems I have noticed so far is for exporting JARs, I have the potential to include source files from other projects which seems like it could get messy (maybe?).
