  • Codeigniter: user defined helper function does not load.

    Hi everybody. I made a custom helper extending the system string_helper.php. I placed it in my /application/helpers folder, called MY_string_helper.php as required, unit-tested its functions. Now, when I try to call one of its functions from a model, it does not work. The functions in the default string helper work, instead. It looks like my extension is not loaded for some reasons.   • Subversion with Apache and permissions issues

    Hello, I have setup an SVN repository for use with Apache 2 via svnadmin create command and appropriate vhost configuration. I found that, in order to correctly use the repository, this must be owned by wwwrun user (or www group) or chmodded to 777. I would like to ask if it's possible to explicitly tell Apache to impersonate another user when serving requests to a certain path (from vhost.conf), like with suphp extension, so I won't mess with permissions once I create a repository. I'd like to have some tool which analyzes the source code and produces some graphviz-like drawing and allows me to follow dependencies. Also I've found this on the internet, but I think is taylored for the linux kernel only.

  • Is it possible to restart the phone with Android SDK or NDK?

    Is it possible to programmatically restart the phone from a application (service) running on top of the Dalvik VM? If the SDK does not provide this functionality, then how about using the NDK and calling some functions provided by the kernel? I know this option is not preferred (not stable enough libs), but if it's the only option, I'll have to consider that as well.

    Hi all: I am working on a C# application that involves using XML schema file as databases for message definitions and XML file as databases for message data. I was following the example I found:http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.xml.xmldatadocument.dataset%28v=VS.100%29.aspx I wrote my own xsd and XML file. I used the same approach in the example, read the xsd file and then load the xml file. But I don't have any "Rows" created for my DataTable. I used debugger to step through my codes. When I am get my DataTable use xmlDataDocument.DataSet.Tables["name of the table"], the Rows property of that tables is 0. Does anybody know what might cause the DataSet tables not get populated after I loaded the xmlDataDocument with XML file? All my urls have the same format (2 letter filenames, with .html extension). I want it to be a safe function, so if someone passes in an empty url it doesn't break. I know how to check for length, but I should be checking for null to right?

How do I prevent this from happening? PS: I'm using open() to open the file.

    I have been able to query newer Oracle databases using the PHP oci8 extension with the Oracle 10.2 Instant Client. Unfortunately, the Oracle Instant Client seems to be unable to connect to an Oracle 7 database (version 7.3.3 to be precise). Is there a way to query an older Oracle database from PHP?

    Hi All I am not able to see the product/file version information, copyright information of ".so" files in Win2k8-R2. I am logged in as administrator. If i rename the same file to have it extension to some other ie. ".dll" or ".txt", then i am able to see all the information (file/version info, copyright info). Is it expected for Win2k8-R2. Is it documented somewhere?? Any help will be appreciated

For example, if I type in example.com/main, I get the file at www.example.com/main.php. How do I get the .php extension if the code tells the rewriting to stop after adding the www. to the beginning of example.com?
