  I'm creating a Client/Server application with Android (Client) and WCF (Web Service). From reading quite alot of discussions, I'm under the impression that there is no tool available to create the web service client in android automatically from a WSDL file. If this is the situation, what is the easiest approach for creating a communication infrastructure between the client and server, that can be updated easily in the future (plain GET, REST, use SOAP and manually parse responses) Initially, I wanted to build the web service and have the client created automatically with the provided WSDL file.   Is there any handy tool that can make updating tables easier? Usually I got an Excel file with the original value in one column and new value in another column. Then I write a formula in Excel to create the 'update' statement. Is there any way to simplify the updating task? • Why does MS SQL Mgmt Studio Express keep forgetting my passwords?

  I have about had it with this tool, I check the save password box at the login dialogue but it just doesn't work. Sometimes it will for a few days, and then the password will just be gone. Nearly every time I load this thing up I have to track down the password again and type it in. Is there some password rule in the database that would be causing this? This is driving me absolutely crazy.

  If you had two databases, that had two tables between them that would normally implement a one to one (or many to many) constraint but cannot since they are separate databases, how would you validate this relationship in an application or test? Is there a simple way to do this? For example, a tool or technique that can, given a constraint type, tables and fields, does the validation.   GUID are generated by the combination of numbers and characters with a hyphen. eg) {7B156C47-05BC-4eb9-900E-89966AD1430D} In Visual studio, we have the 'Create GUID' tool to create it. I hope the same can be created programmatically through window APIs. How GUIDs are made to be unique? Why they don't use any special characters like #,^ etc...   Is there a tool which could be used to analyse the objects being created between two separate garbage collection run (= number of objects created and their type) ? Heapdumps dont really work here as they perform a GC when they're invoked (or at least that's what I observed everytime so far), and I want to see which objects are collected by the GC, not which objects are left after the GC run, if that makes sense. ...or is it possible somehow to inspect the nature and size of objects being collected by the garbage collector ?

  I have an old VB6 app and I'm not sure which code was used to compile it. One revision of the source makes a call to Sleep in kernel32.dll. Is there a way to find out if the exe calls a specific function in a DLL? I can see that kernel32.dll is linked by using the "Dependency Walker" tool but that doesn't seem to tell me that a specific function is called from the exe.

Is the 'Open with Explorer' option available with FBA? If yes, what are the missing settings?

• Why is QuartzCore reported as leaking in my app?

  When I view my app's memory in the xcode memory tool, i see that something called QuartzCore is reported as leaking many times. Each leak ranges from 16-80 bytes. My code is not referencing this. it's all from withing UIApplicationMain(). So I'm not sure how to control this. Any ideas? Thank you.

But if I want to host the project on Google code, how can I easily publish the documentation straight into the Google project Wiki pages? I can see the SVN repository has a wiki folder which I assume maps to the project Wiki pages and I guess I can make a build step to build the documentation from the autodoc tags. I would like to move a CheckBox, so it displays in a different location than the top-left corner under Absolute Layout inside main.xml, for 'Android'. I'm using Eclipse to edit my views.
