  • spring-roo dojox.grid.DataGrid not rendered

    - by Steve Wall
    Hello, I'm using spring-roo trying to use dojox.grid.DataGrid. The page renders as a plain table. Why does it not use the DataGrid? Thanks! Steve <div xmlns:spring="http://www.springframework.org/tags" xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jsp/jstl/core" xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.0"><jsp:output omit-xml-declaration="yes" /> <script type="text/javascript"> dojo.require("dijit.TitlePane"); </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="&lt;c:url value=&quot;/resources/dojo/dojo.js&quot; /&gt;"> </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="&lt;c:url value=&quot;/resources/spring/Spring.js&quot; /&gt;"> </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="&lt;c:url value=&quot;/resources/spring/Spring-Dojo.js&quot; /&gt;"> </script> <script type="text/javascript"> dojo.require("dojox.grid.DataGrid"); dojo.require("dojox.data.CsvStore"); </script> <div id="_title"><spring:message var="app_name" code="application.name" /> <spring:message var="title" code="welcome.titlepane" arguments="${app_name}" /> <script type="text/javascript"> Spring.addDecoration(new Spring.ElementDecoration( { elementId : '_title', widgetType : 'dijit.TitlePane', widgetAttrs : { title : '${title}' } })); </script> <h4>Title</h4> <table dojoType="dojox.grid.DataGrid"> <thead> <tr> <th field="fieldName" width="200px">Column Name</th> <th field="fieldName" width="200px">Column Name</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td>test1</td> <td>test2</td> </tr> <tr> <td>test3</td> <td>test4</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </div> </div>

  • ASP.NET MVC Html Helper Extensions and Rendering Their Required "include"s

    - by Jimbo
I have build a custom Html Helper extension as follows: public static string DatePicker(this HtmlHelper helper, string name, string value) { return string.Format(@"<script type='text/javascript'> $(document).ready(function(){{ $('#{0}').datepicker({{ changeMonth: true, changeYear:true, dateFormat: 'd-M-yy', firstDay: 1, showButtonPanel: true, showWeek: true }}); }}); </script> <input type='text' name='{0}' id='{0}' value='{1}'>", name, value); } The problem is that this now requires the page to "include" the following: <script src="/Scripts/jquery-1.4.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="/Scripts/jquery.ui.datepicker.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script> And a few other items. The questions are as follows: Is there a serious processing overhead if I were to include these items in EVERY page (like in the Site.Master for example) thus negating the need for the HtmlHelper to organise the "includes" - considering there would end up being about 20 includes for all the different types of jQuery UI widgets used throughout the site. If the HtmlHelper sorts out the "includes", it will add one every time this DatePicker is used (often there are two on a page) Does anyone have a way of determining whether or not the user has already rendered the same type of control on the page, thus not re-including the same jquery libraries when multiple instances of the DatePicker (for example) are used?

  • JSON and jQuery.ajax

    - by Andreas
Hello, im trying to use the jQuery UI autocomplete to communitate with a webservice with responseformate JSON, but i am unable to do so. My webservice is not even executed, the path should be correct since the error message does not complain about this. What strikes me is the headers, response is soap but request is json, is it supposed to be like this? Response Headersvisa källkod Content-Type application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8 Request Headersvisa källkod Accept application/json, text/javascript, */* Content-Type application/json; charset=utf-8 The error message i get is as follows (sorry for the huge message, but it might be of importance): soap:ReceiverSystem.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Xml.XmlException: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1. at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(String res, String arg) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseRootLevelWhitespace() at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ParseDocumentContent() at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Read() at System.Xml.XmlTextReader.Read() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapServerProtocol.SoapEnvelopeReader.Read() at System.Xml.XmlReader.MoveToContent() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapServerProtocol.SoapEnvelopeReader.MoveToContent() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapServerProtocolHelper.GetRequestElement() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.Soap12ServerProtocolHelper.RouteRequest() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapServerProtocol.RouteRequest(SoapServerMessage message) at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapServerProtocol.Initialize() at System.Web.Services.Protocols.ServerProtocolFactory.Create(Type type, HttpContext context, HttpRequest request, HttpResponse response, Boolean& abortProcessing) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- This is my code: $('selector').autocomplete({ source: function(request, response) { $.ajax({ url: "../WebService/Member.asmx", dataType: "json", contentType: "application/json; charset=utf-8", type: "POST", data: JSON.stringify({prefixText: request.term}), success: function(data) { alert('success'); }, error: function(XMLHttpRequest, textStatus, errorThrown){ alert('error'); } }) }, minLength: 1, select: function(event, ui) { } }); And my webservice looks like this: [WebService(Namespace = "http://tempuri.org/")] [WebServiceBinding(ConformsTo = WsiProfiles.BasicProfile1_1)] [System.ComponentModel.ToolboxItem(false)] [ScriptService] public class Member : WebService { [WebMethod(EnableSession = true)] [ScriptMethod(ResponseFormat = ResponseFormat.Json)] public string[] GetMembers(string prefixText) { code code code } } What am i doing wrong? Thanks in advance :)

  • How to display a flyout menu on clicking an image in Grid header in MVC?

    - by Vincent
    A grid is displayed using the following code in MVC. <%= this.Grid( "routes-" + mc , "Testing", Model.Routes, new GridBuilder<RouteModel>() .Column( "chk", () => Html.Image( Url.Content( "down.gif" ), "Select or deselect tests" ), (m) => "<input type='hidden' name='routeLinkId' value='"+ m.RouteLinkID +"' />" + Html.CheckBox( "drugRoute" + mc + m.RouteLinkID, m.IsChecked ) ) .Column( "route clip-text", "Route", (m) = Html.Encode( m.Route ) ) .Column( "groups clip-text", "Groups", (m) = "" + Html.Encode(m.Group) + "" ) .ToGrid() ) % On clicking the image in header I need to display a flyout menu. The code for the flyout menu is below. <div id="group-menu-<%= mc %>" class="flyout-menu" title="Select tests"> <div> <p>Select</p> <ul> <li><button type="button" name="one">One</button></li> <li><button type="button" name="two">two</button></li> </ul> <p>Unselect</p> <ul> <li><button type="button" name="unselect-one">one</button></li> <li><button type="button" name="unselect-two">two</button></li> </ul> </div> </div> Now how do I display this menu on clicking the image in header.

  • What output and recording ports does the Java Sound API find on your computer?

    - by Dave Carpeneto
Hi all - I'm working with the Java Sound API, and it turns out if I want to adjust recording volumes I need to model the hardware that the OS exposes to Java. Turns out there's a lot of variety in what's presented. Because of this I'm humbly asking that anyone able to help me run the following on their computer and post back the results so that I can get an idea of what's out there. A thanks in advance to anyone that can assist :-) import javax.sound.sampled.*; public class SoundAudit { public static void main(String[] args) { try { System.out.println("OS: "+System.getProperty("os.name")+" "+ System.getProperty("os.version")+"/"+ System.getProperty("os.arch")+"\nJava: "+ System.getProperty("java.version")+" ("+ System.getProperty("java.vendor")+")\n"); for (Mixer.Info thisMixerInfo : AudioSystem.getMixerInfo()) { System.out.println("Mixer: "+thisMixerInfo.getDescription()+ " ["+thisMixerInfo.getName()+"]"); Mixer thisMixer = AudioSystem.getMixer(thisMixerInfo); for (Line.Info thisLineInfo:thisMixer.getSourceLineInfo()) { if (thisLineInfo.getLineClass().getName().equals( "javax.sound.sampled.Port")) { Line thisLine = thisMixer.getLine(thisLineInfo); thisLine.open(); System.out.println(" Source Port: " +thisLineInfo.toString()); for (Control thisControl : thisLine.getControls()) { System.out.println(AnalyzeControl(thisControl));} thisLine.close();}} for (Line.Info thisLineInfo:thisMixer.getTargetLineInfo()) { if (thisLineInfo.getLineClass().getName().equals( "javax.sound.sampled.Port")) { Line thisLine = thisMixer.getLine(thisLineInfo); thisLine.open(); System.out.println(" Target Port: " +thisLineInfo.toString()); for (Control thisControl : thisLine.getControls()) { System.out.println(AnalyzeControl(thisControl));} thisLine.close();}}} } catch (Exception e) {e.printStackTrace();}} public static String AnalyzeControl(Control thisControl) { String type = thisControl.getType().toString(); if (thisControl instanceof BooleanControl) { return " Control: "+type+" (boolean)"; } if (thisControl instanceof CompoundControl) { System.out.println(" Control: "+type+ " (compound - values below)"); String toReturn = ""; for (Control children: ((CompoundControl)thisControl).getMemberControls()) { toReturn+=" "+AnalyzeControl(children)+"\n";} return toReturn.substring(0, toReturn.length()-1);} if (thisControl instanceof EnumControl) { return " Control:"+type+" (enum: "+thisControl.toString()+")";} if (thisControl instanceof FloatControl) { return " Control: "+type+" (float: from "+ ((FloatControl) thisControl).getMinimum()+" to "+ ((FloatControl) thisControl).getMaximum()+")";} return " Control: unknown type";} } All the application does is print out a line about the OS, a line about the JVM, and a few lines about the hardware found that may pertain to recording hardware. For example on my PC at work I get the following: OS: Windows XP 5.1/x86 Java: 1.6.0_07 (Sun Microsystems Inc.) Mixer: Direct Audio Device: DirectSound Playback [Primary Sound Driver] Mixer: Direct Audio Device: DirectSound Playback [SoundMAX HD Audio] Mixer: Direct Audio Device: DirectSound Capture [Primary Sound Capture Driver] Mixer: Direct Audio Device: DirectSound Capture [SoundMAX HD Audio] Mixer: Software mixer and synthesizer [Java Sound Audio Engine] Mixer: Port Mixer [Port SoundMAX HD Audio] Source Port: MICROPHONE source port Control: Microphone (compound - values below) Control: Select (boolean) Control: Microphone Boost (boolean) Control: Front panel microphone (boolean) Control: Volume (float: from 0.0 to 1.0) Source Port: LINE_IN source port Control: Line In (compound - values below) Control: Select (boolean) Control: Volume (float: from 0.0 to 1.0) Control: Balance (float: from -1.0 to 1.0)

  • Routing to the actions with same names but different parameters

    - by zerkms
I have this set of routes: routes.MapRoute( "IssueType", "issue/{type}", new { controller = "Issue", action = "Index" } ); routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}/{id}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = UrlParameter.Optional } // Parameter defaults ); Here is the controller class: public class IssueController : Controller { public ActionResult Index() { // todo: redirect to concrete type return View(); } public ActionResult Index(string type) { return View(); } } why, when i request http://host/issue i get The current request for action 'Index' on controller type 'IssueController' is ambiguous between the following action methods: I expect that first one method should act when there is no parameters, and second one when some parameter specified. where did i made mistake? UPD: possible duplicate: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/436866/can-you-overload-controller-methods-in-asp-net-mvc

  • WPF Custom Control - ItemsControl template not being applied.

    - by Patrick White
I'm building a custom WPF control that derives from TabControl. In the ControlTemplate, I'm using a ItemsControl to display a list that is being bound from the template (an observable collection of type FileMenuItem). During program execution, I'm getting the following error in the output window: ItemTemplate and ItemTemplateSelector are ignored for items already of the ItemsControl's container type; Type='FileMenuItem' The type FileMenuItem is derived from MenuItem. I googled the error and couldn't find anything about it, has anyone run into this while developing custom controls? I can post more code if it would help. Thanks!

  • Correct way to import Blueprint's ie.css via DotLess in a Spark view

    - by Chris F
I am using the Spark View Engine for ASP.NET MVC2 and trying to use Blueprint CSS. The quick guide to Blueprint says to add links to the css files like so: <link rel="stylesheet" href="blueprint/screen.css" type="text/css" media="screen, projection"> <link rel="stylesheet" href="blueprint/print.css" type="text/css" media="print"> <!--[if lt IE 8]><link rel="stylesheet" href="blueprint/ie.css" type="text/css" media="screen, projection"><![endif]--> But I'm using DotLess and wish to simplify Blueprint as suggested here. So I'm doing this in my site.less (which gets compiled to site.min.css by Chirpy): @import "screen.css"; #header { #title { .span-10; .column; } } ... Now my site can just reference site.min.css and it includes blueprint's screen.css, which includes my reset. I can also tack on an @import "print.css" after my @import "screen.css" if desired. But now, I'm trying to figure out the best way to bring in the ie.css file to have Blueprint render correctly in IE6 & IE7. In my Spark setup, I have a partial called _Styles.spark that is brought into the Application.spark and is passed a view model that includes the filenames for all stylesheets to include (and an HtmlExtension to get the full path) and they're added using an "each" iterator. <link each="var styleSheet in Model.Styles" href="${Html.Stylesheet(styleSheet)}" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all"/> Should I simply put this below the above line in my _Styles.spark file? <!--[if lt IE 8]><link rel="stylesheet" href="${Html.Stylesheet("ie.css")}" type="text/css" media="screen, projection"><![endif]--> Will Spark even process it because it's surrounded by a comment?

  • Facebook Connect login button not rendering

    - by tloflin
I'm trying to implement a Facebook Connect Single Sign-on site. I originally just had a Connect button (<fb:login-button>), which the user had to click every time they wanted to sign in. I now have the auto login and logout features working. That is, my site will detect a logged-in Facebook account and automatically authenticate them if it can find a match to one of my site's user accounts, and automatically deauthenticate if the Facebook session is lost. I also have a manual logout button that will log the user out of both my site and Facebook. All of those are working correctly, but now my original Connect button is intermittently not being rendered correctly. It just shows up as the plain XHTML (ie., it looks like plain text--not a button--and is unclickable), and no XFBML is applied. Here is the basic code: On every page: <body> {...} <script src="http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript> FB.init('APIKey', '/xd_receiver.htm'); var isAuth; // isAuth determines if the user is authenticated on my site // it should be true on the logout page, false on the login page FB.ensureInit(function(){ var session = FB.Facebook.apiClient.get_session(); if (session && !isAuth) { PageMethods.FacebookLogin(session.uid, session.session_key, FBLogin, FBLoginFail); // This is an AJAX call that authenticates the user on my site. } else if(!session && isFBAuth) { PageMethods.FacebookLogout(FBLogout, FBLogoutFail); // This is an AJAX call that deauthenticates the user on my site. } // the callback functions do nothing at the moment }); </script> {...} </body> On the login page: (this page is not visible to logged in users) <body> {...} <script src="http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript> FB.init('APIKey', '/xd_receiver.htm'); {...} // auto-auth code as on every page </script> <!-- This is the button that fails to render --> <fb:login-button v="2" onlogin="UserSignedIntoFB();" size="large" autologoutlink="true"><fb:intl>Login With Your Facebook Account</fb:intl></fb:login-button> <script type="text/javascript"> function UserSignedIntoFB() { {...} // posts back to the server which authenticates the user on my site & redirects } </script> {...} </body> On the logout page: (this page is not visible to logged out users) <body> {...} <script src="http://static.ak.connect.facebook.com/js/api_lib/v0.4/FeatureLoader.js.php" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript> FB.init('APIKey', '/xd_receiver.htm'); {...} // auto-auth code as on every page </script> <script type="text/javascript"> function FBLoggedOut() { {...} // posts back to the server which deauthenticates the user on my site & redirects to login } function Logout() { if (FB.Facebook.apiClient.get_session()) { FB.Connect.logout(FBLoggedOut); // logs out of Facebook if it's a Facebook account return false; } else { return true; // posts back if it's a non-Facebook account & redirects to login } } </script> <a onclick="return Logout();" href="postback_url">Sign Out</a> {...} </body> Some things I've already looked at: The automatic login and logout are working great. I can log in and out of Facebook on another tab and my site will notice the session changes and update accordingly. The logout seems to be working fine: when clicked, it deauthenticates the user and logs them out of Facebook, as intended. The issue seems to usually happen after a Facebook user is logged out, but it happens somewhat intermittently; it might happen before they ever login, and it goes away after a few minutes/refreshes. Some cookies are left over after the login/logout process, but deleting them does not fix the issue. Restarting the browser does not fix the issue. The user is definitely logged out of Facebook and my site when the problem occurs. I've checked for Facebook sessions and site authentication. All external script calls are being served up correctly. I have a suspicion that there's something else I need to be doing upon logout (like clearing session or cookies), but according to everything I've read about Facebook Connect, all I need to do is call the logout function (and deauthenticate on my server-side). I'm really at a loss; does anybody have any ideas what could be wrong?

  • jquery accordion - set input focus for active accordion?

    - by KnockKnockWhosThere
    *Nevermind... figured it out... * did it like this: $("#accordion").accordion({ header:'h3', active: '#section1', autoheight: false, clearstyle: true, }).bind("change.ui-accordion", function(event,ui) { $("#text1").focus(); }); I've got an accordion all set up, and each div has a form within it. I'm just trying to figure out how to set the focus on an input field depending on which one is open... /* accordion */ $("#accordion").accordion({ header:'h3', active: '#section1', autoheight: false, clearstyle: true }); Basically, I want to set the cursor in the first input field for whichever section is open. The actual forms are much bigger, so I condensed it enormously... <div id="accordion"> <h3 id="section1"><a href="#">Section 1/a></h3> <div> <form id="form1" action="form.php" method="post"> <fieldset class="inside"> <input type="text" name="text1" id="text1" size="50" value="Default text" /> <input class="open" type="button" value="Submit" name="submit1" /> </fieldset> </form> </div><!--/div--> <h3 id="section2"><a href="#">Section 2</a></h3> <div> <form id="form2" action="form.php" method="post"> <fieldset class="inside"> <input type="text" name="text2" id="text2" size="50" value="Submit" /> <input class="open" type="button" value="Submit" name="submit2" /> </fieldset> </form> </div><!--/div--> <h3 id="section3"><a href="#">Section 3</a></h3> <div> <form id="form3" action="form.php" method="post"> <fieldset class="inside"> <input type="text" name="text3" id="text3" size="50" value="Submit" /> <input class="open" type="button" value="Submit" name="submit3" /> </fieldset> </form> </div><!--/div-->

  • On REST: WADL or not IDL, is the following approach right ?

    - by redben
This question is a bit long, please bear with me. In REST, i think we should not need WADL or any IDL. But rather something that would implicitly cover its concept. The way I think about it is when we (humans) surf the Web, when we go to a web site for the first time, we don't know what services it provides. You discover those on the html home page (or a sitemap page in a help section) or maybe just the main menu on the home page. If you make an analogy, the homepage or site map to us humans is what WSDL is to WS-* or what WADL could be to a REST service. Only that its just like any other html content. I think that in REST the following is a good way to do things, respecting the HATEOS paradigm. Have a top level (or default) resource that lists links to your other resources. For a library example, say RestLibrary.com/ it could be something like: <root xmlns:lib="http://librarystandards.com/libraryml"> <resource class="lib:book"> <link type="application/vnd.libraryml+xml" template="mylib.com/book/{isbn}" /> <link type="application/vnd.libraryml+xml" rel="add" href="mylib.com/book" method="POST" /> <link type="application/vnd.libraryml+xml" rel="update" template="mylib.com/book/{isbn}" method="PUT" /> </resource> <resource class="lib:bookList"> <link template="mylib.com/book?keywords={keywords}" type="application/vnd.openlibrary+xml" rel="search" /> </resource> </root> Note that it is assumed that the media type "application/vnd.libraryml+xml" is a defined standard or (may be just proprietary vocabulary) named libraryml. Also, the client should be able to understand this "homepage" resource (elements root, resource and link). This is the part that could be used instead of WADL : an Abstract vocabulary that should be understandable by any client. You could use an existing standard like Atom for example. But the main idea is to have an abstract vocabulary understandable by any client. Why not WADL then ? well wadl is only for service discovery. The idea here is to have an light abstract vocabulary that would serve as a base for hypermedia. A "root" vocabulary. Like in owl we have owl:thing...etc Now if the client knows the "libraryml" standard it can follow the links to the things it understands (after parsing the media type properties and xmlns). If not, it just won't. When i can't understand how to deal with something in REST architecture i tend to see how we Humans do it in the Web. In the Web, we have the Generic language that is HTML that enables site builders to deliver any specific content, regardless of its meaning to the client (the user), Browsers understand HTML but not the "meaning" of its content. It is the user that understands the (domain specific) content. If i go to say QuantumPhysics.org, my browser can render the home page (it is just html after all) and i can read the home page. If i understand quantum then fine i can continue browsing. If i don't i just get out (unless i want to learn the hardway :) ) In the RetsLibrary.com example the client app is just like me+my browser on QuantumPhysics.org. the media type "application/vnd.libraryml+xml" is quantum physics (knowledge). http is http in both examples. Now HTML of QuantumPhysics.org is in RestLibrary.com is XML + that tiny little abstract vocabulary (root resource and link, that you could replace with something like Atom). So does this approach have any value ? don't we need a root tiny hyper-vocabulary so we can succeed with hypermedia and the "initial URI" concept ? edit Yeah why not RDF as the root vocabulary !

  • SQL - .NET - SqlParameters - AddWithValue - Are there any negative performance implications when Par

    - by hamlin11
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.data.sqlclient.sqlparametercollection.addwithvalue.aspx I'm used to adding sql parameters to a sqlCommand using the add() function. This allows me to specify the type of the sqlParameter, but it requires another line to set the value. It's nice to use the AddWithValue function, but it skips the "specify the parameter type" step. I'm guessing this causes the parameters to be sent over as strings contained within single quotes (''), but I'm not sure. Is this the case, and does this cause significantly slower performance of the stored procedures? Note: I understand that it is nice to validate user data on the .NET side of things by specifying the data type for params -- I'm only concerned about reflection-type overhead of AddWithValue either on the .NET or SQL side.

  • Getting TypeConverter error that makes no sense

    - by Greg McGuffey
I have a TypeConverter for a TopMostNode class. It extends ExpandableObjectConverter. The TopMostNode has two properties. Setting those in the property grid results in correctly serialized code to the designer. However, if I type in text for the property, I get a "Property value is not valid" error and the details say: Object of type 'TopMostNode' cannot be converted to type 'TopMostNode'. I'm baffled. When I step through the type converter ConvertFrom code, it runs as expected. I don't even know were to start looking for an issue like this.

  • Zend Form, table decorators

    - by levacjeep
Hello, I am having an incredibly difficult time to decorate a Zend form the way I need to. This is the HTML structure I am in need of: <table> <thead><tr><th>one</th><th>two</th><th>three</th><th>four</th></thead> <tbody> <tr> <td><input type='checkbox' id='something'/></td> <td><img src='src'/></td> <td><input type='text' id='something'/></td> <td><input type='radio' group='justonegroup'/></td> </tr> <tr> <td><input type='checkbox' id='something'/></td> <td><img src='src'/></td> <td><input type='text' id='something'/></td> <td><input type='radio' group='justonegroup'/></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> The number of rows in the body is determined by my looping structure inside my form class. All ids will be unique of course. All radio buttons in the form belongs to one group. My issue really is that I am unsure how to create and then style the object Zend_Form_Element_MultiCheckbox and Zend_Form_Element_Radio inside my table. Where/how would I apply the appropriate decoraters to the checkboxes and radio buttons to have a form structure like above? My Form class so far: class Form_ManageAlbums extends Zend_Form { public function __construct($album_id) { $photos = Model_DbTable_Photos::getAlbumPhotos($album_id); $selector = new Zend_Form_Element_MultiCheckbox('selector'); $radio = new Zend_Form_Element_Radio('group'); $options = array(); while($photo = $photos->fetchObject()) { $options[$photo->id] = ''; $image = new Zend_Form_Element_Image('image'.$photo->id); $image->setImageValue('/dog/upload/'.$photo->uid.'/photo/'.$photo->src); $caption = new Zend_Form_Element_Text('caption'.$photo->id); $caption->setValue($photo->caption); $this->addElements(array($image, $caption)); } $selector->addMultiOptions($options); $radio->addMultiOptions($options); $this->addElement($selector); $this->setDecorators(array( 'FormElements', array('HtmlTag', array('tag' => 'table')), 'Form' )); } } I have tried a few combination of decoraters for the td and tr, but no success to date. Thank you for any help, very appreciated. JP Levac

  • C# struct and NuSOAP(php)

    - by opx
Hello Im trying to build a client in c# that talks with some remote (php)server with SOAP using the NuSOAP library. Here im using a struct/object that will containt the user info of some user: public struct UserProfile { public string username; public string password; public string email; public string site; public string signature; public int age; public int points; And this is the PHP Code: server->wsdl->addComplexType( 'UserProfile', 'complexType', 'struct', 'all', '', array( 'username' => array('name' => 'username', 'type' => 'xsd:string'), 'password' => array('name' => 'password', 'type' => 'xsd:string'), 'email' => array('name' => 'email', 'type' => 'xsd:string'), 'site' => array('name' => 'site', 'type' => 'xsd:string'), 'signature' => array('name' => 'signature', 'type' => 'xsd:string'), 'age' => array('name' => 'age', 'type' => 'xsd:int'), 'points' => array('name' => 'username', 'type' => 'xsd:int'), ) ); $server->wsdl->addComplexType( 'UserProfileArray', 'complexType', 'array', '', 'SOAP-ENC:Array', array(), array(array('ref' => 'SOAP-ENC:arrayType', 'wsdl:arrayType' => 'tns:UserProfile[]')), 'tns:UserProfile' ); $server->register("getUserProfile", array(), array('return' => 'tns:UserProfileArray'), $namespace, false, 'rpc', false, 'Get the user profile object' ); function getUserProfile(){ $profile['username'] = "user"; $profile['password'] = "pass"; $profile['email'] = "usern@ame"; $profile['site'] = "u.com"; $profile['signature'] = "usucsdckme"; $profile['age'] = 111; $profile['points'] = time() / 2444; return $profile; } Now I already have a working login function, and I want to get the info about the logged in user but I dont know howto obtain these. This is what im using to get the userinfo: string user = txtUser.Text; string pass = txtPass.Text; SimpleService.SimpleService service = new SimpleService.SimpleService(); if(service.login(user, pass)){ //logged in } SoapApp.SimpleService.UserProfile[] user = service.getUserProfile(); // THIS LINE GIVES ME AN EXCEPTION MessageBox.Show(user[0].username + "--" + user[0].points); The getUserProfile() function produces an error: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException was unhandled Message="unable to serialize result" Source="System.Web.Services" or I get something like 'cant parse xml' error. The article I used for this was from: http://www.sanity-free.org/125/php_webservices_and_csharp_dotnet_soap_clients.html The difference on what they are doing and what I try to do is that I only want to get one object returned instead of multiple 'MySoapObjects'. I hope someone is familiar with this and could help me, thanks in advance! Regards, opx

  • passing json from servlet to dojo

    - by Moev4
I am currently trying to pass a generated JSON string to dojo for parsing and am having some issues. The servlet simply writes it as a string as so: response.getWriter().append("{ \"data\": {"); response.getWriter().append("\"type\": \"facing\","); response.getWriter().append("\"score\": " + "\"" + score + "\","); response.getWriter().append("\"count\":" + "\"" + count + "\"" ); response.getWriter().append("}}"); which prints as: {"data":{"type":"facing","score":"10","count":"24"}} And the parsing on the dojo end looks as so: dojo.xhrPost({ url: url, handleAs: "json", load: function(data) { alert(data); /* Parse Not working */ alert(data.data[0].type); }, error: function(error) { alert("No dice") } }); The main issue is the data.data[0].type is returning nothing but when i print this out as text the json seems to be correctly formatted. Any help with this would be appreciated.

  • C# Lack of Static Inheritance - What Should I Do?

    - by yellowblood
Alright, so as you probably know, static inheritance is impossible in C#. I understand that, however I'm stuck with the development of my program. I will try to make it as simple as possible. Lets say our code needs to manage objects that are presenting aircrafts in some airport. The requirements are as follows: There are members and methods that are shared for all aircrafts There are many types of aircrafts, each type may have its own extra methods and members. There can be many instances for each aircraft type. Every aircraft type must have a friendly name for this type, and more details about this type. For example a class named F16 will have a static member FriendlyName with the value of "Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon". Other programmers should be able to add more aircrafts, although they must be enforced to create the same static details about the types of the aircrafts. In some GUI, there should be a way to let the user see the list of available types (with the details such as FriendlyName) and add or remove instances of the aircrafts, saved, lets say, to some XML file. So, basically, if I could enforce inherited classes to implement static members and methods, I would enforce the aircraft types to have static members such as FriendlyName. Sadly I cannot do that. So, what would be the best design for this scenario?
